It had been 11years since the Septic tank was pumped. I called and scheduled an apt within 7days. They arrived on time and completed the job within 1hr. They explained the amount of solids and did a quick test on the leach field. All was good. I recommend Navo & Sons for septic tank work in the Grass Valley, CA surrounding area.

The two young men that came to empty my septic tank were as courteous, professional and hard working. They got right to business, and even though it had been a long hot day for them, they finished the job and were pleasant to be around. I recommend this company to anyone who needs their services. Very happy! Not only did they come out the same day to assess the situation, they came back the following day to install a new water heater. A couple of places I had called had a month-long wait list! All the guys who came out were wonderful, friendly - even in the heat and under my house! Now they are definitely my go-to plumbers. Thank you!

Jeremy Navo squeezed me in the same day I called. I had bought my current house about 5 years ago and my real estate agent, John Neeb, recommended I call Jeremy to check for roots etc. He pulled up the lid and said it was doing quite well and would not need a service or anything for a long spell I had to force him to take some money for his time. Nice guy!

Had a 1000 gallon septic tank pumped. The two man crew was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable, and were really nice guys. Their equipment was spotless. Cleaned up everything afterwards, and restored the gravel above the tank to it's original condition. I will definitely use Navo in the future, and without reservation, recommend them for septic services. This is a three generation company, and it is clear why they have been successful this long!

We have learned TONS moving into the rurals. One is to mandate a septic and leech line map of the property. This does a lot, especially if you want to build something: 1 - nothing is allowed over any part of the septic system, 2- did they use the least expensive thinwall pipe and then plant trees near it, etc. We bit the bullet and, after minimal searching, contacted Navo & Sons.
We asked for pricing on pumping out the existing tank (only 19% sludge buildup - but we want to aerate it), and tracing the leech field. It was a bit expensive, but so is a pumper truck, mini excavator, trucks, manpower. First crew was the pumper truck, in and out no problems. Not a lot of knowledge about septic systems overall, but the job was to pump out the tank.
Next crew (two days later), was comprised of Kalem and Ben (I cannot remember the first two). Kalem is training Ben, they made a good team. They traced all lines, uncovered two submerged septic distribution boxes (stinking clay pipe - pun intended), flagged the lateral lines and end of runs. Found they had also used CHEAPO thinwall ABS and planted a walnut tree right by it so the roots had broken the primary effluent line.
They left the disbursement boxes open as they are 10-12 below grade and I want to put extensions in. They covered all end of runs, flagged everything, and will make a map for the county and send a copy to me. If I had known the status of the system pre-buy, I would have asked for a discount, but the mandated inspection, paid for by the seller, does not require all of the detail. All-in-all: pumper with two men followed by van with trailer and excavator and two men.we paid $550 plus $1050. We hated spending the money, but it I felt their costs were reasonable. GREAT COMPANY AND CREWS!

I called this AM regarding a problem with our septic tank. While no one could come out to pump the tank for over 2 weeks, they sent someone out immediately to see if he could help Us in the interim. He couldn't but I'm grateful he came promptly and explained the problem. We had called 3 other companies and couldn't even get a call back on 2 of them. I really appreciate the effort made to try and help us out. Very courteous and helpful! Thank you.

They do yearly maintenance on our pressure dose septic system. Nice folks, easy to communicate with, happy to take their times and explain things. They just went the extra mile for me today; our septic alarm went off a week or two after our last inspection. So I called and they were out same day. Flipping the power off and on fixed the problem (at least for now!). What's particularly nice is they volunteered no charge for the service, I assume a courtesy after the inspection. Very kind.

Ken was phenomenal! I had Navo and Sons come back for our annual cleaning. We had lots of problems with the alarm continuously setting off. Ken knew there was something wrong with floaters. He spent 4 hours with maintenance and fixing the floats. He even gave us recommendations to ensure no more roots show up in our septic area. Thank you! Second visit and worth the money spent.

OMG - Thank you! While out cleaning my deck, my hose bib decided to shear away from the house and had water gushing everywhere! (I won't go into the details about how that happened.) I called Navo & Sons, as they already service my septic tank, and the woman who answered the telephone must have heard my panic and told me that she would put my name on the "next" list for the technicians out in the field.
It was about 45 minutes, max, and they were there - yay! It was only a matter of moments before they had apprised the situation, were able to replace the bib, have the water turned back AND do it at a reasonable cost. For these reasons, I give them a 5-star rating and they get my "Heroes Of The Day" award!

I am not happy with how this whole job went at my property. I only settled because I want the map tracing, since I have already had to wait a week for a manager to even respond to me. The person working here, hit a pipe and LIED to me and said it was broken before. When I called and talked to the manager, it was in the notes that he hit the pipe. So why didn't the guy tell me he hit the pipe?
Then when I'm talking to the manager, he offers to fix the pipe. It happened a week ago! Keep in mind, it took 4 days for the manager to respond back to me. So I was supposed to wait around for a week without water while he took his time messaging me back? Why didn't he just fix the pipe when he knew he hit it in the first place! He originally offered $100 off which is honestly an insult to me.
I eventually settled for $250 because I'm over dealing with this company. I am definitely not gonna recommend this to friends and already told the person who recommended me about the situation. This whole thing could have been avoided if the person working here would have just been honest with us instead of covering his butt. Ps: it was even more of an insult the manager offering to fix it a week later after they knew it was broken and I already PAID to get it fixed.

Were called out for a leak under the Kitchen sink on a 2 story home. The living space is above the garage is 2 beds and 2 bath rooms with a laundry room upstairs as well. One home owner was in the process of passing in the home, his wife, (88 years old) Signed the contract for the leak under the sink and actually ended up signing a contract to re-plumb the complete home. (Built in 1980 with copper plumbing).
In 4 or 5 hours Navo and Sons (DBA Roto Rooter, Idaho Maryland Road) tore up the home, tore out the sheet rock through-out the house and overhead in the garage and RE-PLUMBED the whole house instead of fixing the leak under the sink at a estimated cost of $14,000. leaving her with a THRASHED out House as they "Don't do sheetrock or paint". One week later her husband died in the home, reducing her income to only Social Security.
She now has no food, no propane, a devalued house and a massive lien on her home for a leak under her sink for the unpaid balance due for a complete replumb of the house to fix a leak under the kitchen sink. (She already gave them over $6,000. plus$$ that she doesn't have. Have pictures, wish I could post them here. LONG TIME LOCAL COMPANY WITH NOOO FAMILY VALUES! Call ANYONE ELSE. Ask your local hardware or plumbing store for references.

I called for a pump out for my area. Was originally told by the 1 800 operator that they weren't sure they'd come to my area. Got a call back about 15 minutes later saying yes, they would come and would give me a call back the next day to schedule. The next day they do call back(deserving of one star instead of none i guess) telling me they will not come to my area.
Despite my offer to pay them their hourly charge just to drive to and from my area. They said no. I asked what would it cost to get them here. They said they wouldn't, no matter what. Pretty sad. Guess they have way to much money already and dont have a few hours to spend to make a few grand for a 200 gallon pump out. Find someone else would be my advice.

Be aware that Navo's charges $45 for estimates. They didn't tell me this when I called and scheduled an appointment, and I was really surprised when the technician wanted to charge me. I didn't pay, so I didn't get the estimate for a new water heater. I have never been charged for estimates for any of the other work I've had done on my house, including the other company who came out to give me an estimate on the water heater. You might want to just deal with companies that don't charge for estimates, since there are a number of plumbing companies in this area

I just had my first experience with Navos. The man my husband spoke with was very rude. After calling our realtor and several friends to ask which company we should contact (about inspecting an old septic and installing a new septic) they all confirmed that Navos has a reputation for being a real pain. We intended to use Navos but now we are reaching out to other companies and having a much more positive experience.
