We purchased a system in 2019 from Duron Smith. We also purchased a 12 year 'bumper to bumper warranty'. We faithfully had our annual maintenance checkups. The last one performed April 2022. Unbeknownst to us - the technician in April released some freon and did not replace it. Last week we noticed the thermostat temp was well above the temp we had it set to.
I called for service last week. It was immediately clear that this company is no longer the company we did business with in 2019. They could not send anyone until today (June 20). The technician was great (Felix). The problem is when we were asked to pay $49 for the 'service call'. Again, we have a warranty. The very rude person that called me demanding the $49 said they added that fee January 1, 2022.
No notice to customers? No - they 'didn't have the time for that in this world right now'?! Whatever that means. Then she said that nowhere in our warranty agreement did it say they couldn't charge me a trip charge. So they can change the rules from when I signed the contract? I reminded her that our issue was caused by the service in April 2022 - her response - I should have called within 30 days. (even though the problem didn't show itself until last week). Duron Smith was a responsive courteous company - Dial Duron doesn't care about customer service. Again, the technician was great. This review is not a reflection of his service.

We were having an issue with our A/C coming on, and it was getting to be very hot on a Sunday when we needed someone to come. We tried a lot of companies who were unable to come, until Dial Duron came on a Sunday afternoon. We were forever grateful for this. Felix. the guy they sent out was kind, courteous, and even taught us ways to make sure we don't have issues in the future using common sense maintenance. I appreciate their knowledge, and will use them again if I have to.

The day after we got back from our honeymoon our AC stopped working. They were able to get a tech to us within 1 1/2 hours. Felix came out and was awesome. We (somehow) managed to get the system working before he arrived but Felix listened to the how/why of what happened and spent the time to educate us about our system. Who knew that being in a second floor unit has its own challenges?
Me now lol. Thanks for taking the time to explain things to us instead of grabbing the service fee and leaving, like has happened with other companies! He also mentioned the annual maintenance package, which was pretty cheap. We will be starting service with Dial Duron as soon as the next maintenance is due. :-) Julie and Cory Jordan

We had been with Dial Plumbing before they were sold and loved them. Since the new ownership, the service has been a nightmare. We contracted them to put in a new unit in our house as ours was old and dying. The sales man sold us a 4 ton unit and we later learned that based on our house size and windows, we only need a 3 ton unit. A damaged compressor was installed and my husband and I didn't notice until after they had left so we had to call them back to replace it.
The guy said he knew it was installed damaged and oops, forgot to mention it. Then they damaged the ceiling while installing a new vent and did not even offer to fix it. Then it took 3 months to get the paperwork back so we could have the inspector sign off on it. We thought it had leaked so they sent the gm out and after inspecting it, it was not the source of the leak but he promised us "better air filters" for our troubles and next time we had it serviced, they would leave those for us and fix our ceiling.
Yet another unfulfilled promise. Asked the service technician next time he came out and said he would check our service records and call management. He left without a word about it. I am not happy about the service at all.

WOW! These guys were so good I'm raising the bar for home service companies, everywhere. Let me ask you, when was the last time you called for service, and not just repair but an install, kinda desperate (it's A/C), and they a) came out in under 24 hours; b) gave you the price they quoted you three months earlier (remember, this is 2022); c) had two professional installers who were polite and (i have a baby), quiet and unobtrusive; d) followed with a phone call the next day just to check on the new HVAC; e) followed up in two weeks with two quality control guys just to go over with a fine-toothed comb all the super, super tiny things that could be just a little better (they literally scraped up a little errant caulk at the base and painted over some duct tape at the top)?
When was the last time you got that kind of value? And the price I got I probably couldn't have gotten better elsewhere. I don't write a Google review every other day, and I don't pretend that everyone will have this experience with Duron Dial, but I do hope everyone hears this. Great job, guys!

We are very impressed with the team that installed our Home AC. We also installed a split ac in our Florida room. There was an issue with that one operating correctly. The technicians Pat and Blake spent diligent time checking the system and getting it to work correctly. The General Manager Mundy came out and also insured us he would resolve the problem.
I can't say enough about all the people including Kim in the office who made sure our concerns were addressed and remedied. I have always liked this company and the attention they give to pleasing their customers. They exceed my expectations. Thank you for a job well done.

I recently had a solar water heater removed, and a gas tankless water heater installed in its place. Brian from Dial Plumbing came, gave me an estimate, and explain how it would be installed. Later that same day, Dial called me on phone and we scheduled installation. On install day, Brian and helper arrived, did all the expected work; they were terrific!.they were quick, they were clean, and within 3.5 hours they had removed old, tied off old plumbing in attic, ran new electric, new gas line, installed new heater.and i was ready to go! Really, it was all seamless; easy; and appointment was exactly as it had been explained to me. I would highly recommend Dial Plumbing, and i would most definitely use them again!

We had Dial replace our Air Conditioning system in 2018 as part of our home renovations. They did an excellent job, and we have been very happy with the system. Yesterday, we had Dial's technician Jonathan perform a maintenance on the system. He made a minor adjustment to help it run more efficiently and also installed a UV light for us. I thought the pricing was good, and we also got a good price on buying two maintenance visits and a plumbing inspection. My thanks to Dial for their customer-oriented approach for helping us maintain our system. I highly recommend them.

I will have to say these guys are top-notch. There was several issues with my previous air-conditioning system which was under warranty. These guys took care of everything. The installation of the new system after 10 years was flawless. On-time, thorough, and a big one for me they cleaned up after themselves. Showing respect to their customers and their personal property.
I also want to give an excellent review to the office staff who assisted me. Amanda is awesome and always willing to go above and beyond. Christopher the general manager is easy to talk to and willing to assist and do what it takes to make a customer happy. Thanks again guys

Pat and Garrett arrived on time and did a fantastic job. They removed the old heater and installed the new one in about three hours. I love that I didn't have to go buy a heater or make arrangements to have the old one taken to the dump. They took care of all of that. Then, they showed us how to use it and they cleaned up the work site. I think that DIAL is the best choice in town for quality work. The work crew was friendly too. Thank you!

I liked this company for AC work before it changed hands. Before they seemed honest and Cost effective so I went with them for yearly maintenance. The first visit I was given an estimate for an entire new system for thousands of dollars and my current AC was working. My second maintenance was $300 for refrigerant and a capacitor. I didn't see the old part and had told the tech my AC was working fine. I don't like to write negative reviews but I just feel it's all about the money with them.

Tech arrived first and started his preventative maintenance work. Then an unmasked Salesman who was there to give a price for a water heater barged into house. Tried to get new AC too. I asked the salesman to leave but he hung out in his truck until the tech was done. When tech left, no AC although it was working perfectly before his preventative maintenance call.
Company could not locate my records although I have been a customer for ten years. The tech left the outside breaker box open with the breaker open as well. I closed it up and it started up. Would I use Duron-Smith again? Never!

Had a problem with my tankless water heater. Called them in the morning and had a repairman out here after lunch. Checked the whole system and resolved our problem. First time I used them, and it will not be the last. The repairman was Byran, nice guy, was a great guy and explained everything to me so it could understood.

Use this company at your own risk. I paid $1200 to have a tub installed and shower hooked up. The plumbing work on the shower was fine but the tub installation was terrible. If you look at the pictures it's pretty clear that the tub they provided was damaged and appears to have been used. Also for some reason they didn't use stainless screws to secure the tub. If you want sub par work these are your guys. Like other reviews this company is terrible

I'm in the middle of a kitchen upgrade. Took out the electric range and needed the gas range installed. Dial showed up in the appointment window and took great care installing my range. I will remember the fine service we received next time I have a plumbing or air conditioning issue. The icing on the cake was when the tech told me I may qualify for a rebate with the gas company for making the switch to gas.

We have a gas water heater problem. All they did was charge me $80 and check nothing but said they would send me a bid to repair. Not at all happy with this company. Other companies would have said they would take $80 off the final bid, but not these people. They didn't even get any tools out to diagnose. Will never use them again.

I have now used Dial for both natural gas issues and regular plumbing. I found out that my master shower pan was leaking into the garage below. I was given the name of another plumber to use for this by a friend. The plumber came out and gave me an estimate that almost stopped my heart. Then, I remembered Dial, the company that had taken care of the natural gas issue. So, out comes Chris, who takes a look, and tells me Dial can do the work, no problem. And, his price was more than fair. And, what was even more interesting, he was interested in what I thought. Imagine, a plumber who discusses an issue. Everything is done and I am extremely happy with the results. Dial is the only plumbing company I am going to invite into my home.

Dial plumbing is very responsive and our tech was very nice, however they came to our house due to a hater heater issue knowing they needed to have a remote to work on the issue. They showed up without the remote, which put us back a day. They came back to diagnos the issue after we got the remote and had us order a chip, which did not end up even being the issue. $180 and a week later, we ended up buying a new water heater through them on top of the money we'd already paid to have them fix our old unit.
After they left and we had a chance to use our showers, one has half the pressure it did before and Dial will not come back out to fix it without a service charge. We are not happy customers. For $2025, it seems we should have good water pressure and temperate.

Mason came to my house this morning and efficiently took care of reseating a toilet, repairing fill/flush hardware in the tanks of three toilets, and fixing a leaky faucet, two non functioning sink plungers, and a slow draining sink. He did a great job! Dial should be happy to know he represented them well by giving us the great service I can always count on!

Had them comeout to snake my house and unclog my slow drains. 2 hrs and $256.00 later, he claims to have the obstruction cleared. Woke up to back flow with human waste in my bath tub and bathroom floor. But he cleared the obstruction right? Called the company to have them make it right only to be told he cleared it and there are no guarantees. Have been waiting since 0930 for the manager to call me. This is not the first time we have used Dial, but I guarantee this is the last.

Dial Plumbing for Gas leak repair We had a small gas leak and gas company recommended Dial Plumbing for the repair. I didn't even know that Dial Plumbing and Air did that. I called and two gentlemen came out the next day. John and Bobby were the perfect gentlemen and knew exactly what needed to be done. I really appreciate the expertise and knowledge that these men had.

Always had good service with them up till today.had appointment scheduled with them at 8 am then pushed back till 1030 then till 11 am then 12 noon I called them back and guy says he eating lunch with manager should be soon or we can reschedule. What are you kidding me! Luckily a/c companies are a dime a dozen.
