Okay so this was my first-time using Moody and the name says it all. I MADE an appointment this AM stayed home and waited and then Kyle called me at 4:15pm and stated since I did not pick up the phone, they would have to reschedule me. Wow and all this time I did not know I had to be waiting by my phone AFTER making a scheduled appointment. Too many other Companies with less rules and nicer more accommodating people, Bye Moody.

Once and never again. I had Moody Plumbing out to my house to isolate and cap a leaking pipe and run a new line up and over to my bathroom. The plumber who performed/supervised the work was the field supervisor. He did not inspect the work that his assistant did nor did he look at the pictures that were taken. Upon entering the attic to inspect their work after they left, I found issues with the work they performed.
They also left the pipe uncapped, creating a potential mold issue once the wall was closed. Long story short, after having them back three additional times for revisions, the work still failed inspection. I have to wonder if other customers' jobs were done in the same manner. I would never use these guys again. In response to Moody's comment: The line still had water in it. The City inspector pointed that out to your plumber. That's why you had to come back the fourth time to cap it.

My saga with Moody began when I called requesting service for a suspected seat seal leak because of water on the floor. My technician was scheduled for Feb. 25 & he showed up that afternoon. His name was Wayne and he had a helper and he was very professional. He inspected the area and said that it was, indeed, a seat seal leak and he and his helper removed the toilet base, repaired the leak and caulked around the base.
He pointed out there was superficial crack at one small spot on the base, but assured us it had nothing to do with our issue. It is important to note that we were open to all suggestions and absolutely would have replaced the toilet, has we been ADVISED TO DO SO. No, he said the repair was all we needed. They also replaced the fill valve and flapper.
I had a freshly purchased Fluidmaster kit sitting there, so Wayne installed it. The charge was $265 and they were at the house about 45 minutes and I thought it was fair. I tipped them $40. One week later, Friday March 4, I realized that yet again, there was water on the floor. They were not too sympathetic at Moody's when I called and QUICKLY said it was probably some other issue.
I did not disagree, but said we've turned off the water and emptied the tank because it was leaking. She said that they were busy but scheduled the service for Monday, March 7. The same technician, Wayne, arrived with a different helper. Over the weekend, we felt like the bolt in the tank was the cause of the leak and not the job that was performed on the 25th. Wayne looked at the tank and agreed this was a new issue and removed the tank and supposedly replaced the bolt, as well as the washer and some other parts.
The cost was $285. Again, I relied on him and he seemed knowledgeable and I tipped him $40. A few hours later, there was water on my bathroom floor again! So, here I am $550 later and there is still water on my bathroom floor. Because it was after 5 pm, I called in the morning and the poor woman who answers the phone, a thankless job if ever there was one, listened and did not argue with me.
She said they were busy and I cut her off in mid-sentence and said, I wanted someone there TODAY and not Wayne. Sorry, but third time is not a charm. Later that day they sent Mario. He was also very professional and listened when we recounted the last 2 appointments and looked at the paperwork. He and his helper removed the tank and the bolt that Wayne had placed in the tank.
He remarked to his helper that a "kit" was typically used and they had not done that, so he installed the whole kit. For some reason, he removed the Fluidmaster and replaced it with one of their own. There was no charge and he pointed out that we "probably" should have simply gotten a new toilet. I was pretty upset and said, NO KIDDING. We did not haggle over price, tipped the first technician twice and took every bit of advice Wayne gave us.
But after spending $550 on repairs, I did not trust Moody enough to install a new toilet. Mario offered no credit on the work done if we purchased a new toilet, and again, I don't think I want Moody in my house again. Think my troubles were OVER? Ha. Think again. Two days after Mario left I began to hear the dreaded phantom flush, which typically indicates a problem with the flapper in the tank.
We had a brand new Fluidmaster set that worked perfectly and Marion removed it and replaced it without our knowledge until after it was done. Plus, he took our Fluidmaster set! So today, my husband is cursing because he has to go buy a new Fluidmaster, remove the crap they installed and go through the aggravation of installing it (he's not a plumber and he's done it many times over the years, but GEEZ, why do we have to do it when they screwed everything up from top to bottom).
We used Moody at least twice in the past. They even installed our hot water heater and worked on things at mu mom's house. NEVER AGAIN. I am speculating that the pandemic impacted their business and they might be short handed, but $550 for a simple job and we still have issues is absolutely ridiculous. AVOID this business, at all costs!

After 3 plumbers and countless runaround with no solutions, Nothing but wonderful things to say about the process in finding and fixing an issue in our commercial space with Moody Plumbing. Tim, the supervisor took the initiative to communicate with me on all steps. Jared and Sebastian when on site were completely professional, communicative, helpful, kind, cleaned up after the mess etc. Would highly recommend Moody (nothing Moody about them!)

Unprofessional, horrible customer service (Management as well as the office staff) and unethical! They did 1/2 the job when they should've waited until they had ALL parts, charged me full price and then tried to make me reschedule and pay an additional charge to come finish the job. Not cool. I would never recommend this company for ANY plumbing service. I wish I would've taken the time to read the reviews before calling them. It explains why their rating on google is terrible.

My water heater order, installation and follow up was amazing. Susan goes above and beyond to ensure a seamless, timely and hassle-free experience. The installers did a great job, and the gentleman from the County who did the inspection stated how great everything looked. I will use Moody Plumbing for all future work!

These folks are nuts. Took me 30 minutes to explain to the women on the phone what I wanted. Then when the guy comes he did to do what I wanted and charged a huge amount of money. $225 for a faucet valve replacement and $85 to come see it. They didn't put in a pressure regulator I asked for because it was too expensive. Stay away form these crazies

I needed new faucets installed on the bathroom vanities. Living in a condo, we have to turn the water off for my unit and the neighboring units. I was scheduled from between 10 and 2 and had maintenance shut off the water. When it got close to one pm I called. There was a mix up and a 'bulding shut off' had not been noted. Instead of schedulingagain for the next day - the office called back and sent someone out right then.
The two workmen were masked, personable and competent. The faucets are in and working well. This is the first time I have used Moody Plumbing. And I will use them again if the occasion arisesl

I love these guys! We've used Moody before, and have always been satisfied. They may charge a bit more than some plumbers, but whenever they've done work at our home, it's been done right. This week was a great example of their commitment to good service and fair treatment. After the sound of rushing water behind our shower wall woke me at 1:37 a.m., I imagined the worst.
I turned off the house's water supply and lay in bed picturing broken tiles, a gaping hole in the shower wall, and a stupendously costly repair to find and fix a leak. At 8 am, I called Moody. The good news: they could come out the same day. The bad: it would likely be expensive. I printed a $35-off coupon from their website, and waited. Fortunately, Victor, and Marc, a supervisor with more than 15 years experience at Moody, were excellent leak detectives. Marc checked our spinning water meter, and investigated several alternatives inside and out BEFORE hacking into the wall. Luckily, the culprit turned out to be a broken line to a backyard hose bib, where seawall construction is underway.
He shut off a valve to the problem area. Voila. No wildly spinning meter; no rushing water sound behind the shower. The charge: a very fair $125. The bad line will be fully repaired once construction ceases. From my first call to office to the arrival of Marc and Victor, Moody's team was courteous and knowledgeable. We'll definitely hire them again. 5 stars all around.

When I tried to call you- upon your reply to me- you acted like the $185 price was too little and knew nothing about it- when I told you Susan sent it you abruptly transferred me to a line playing loud music in my ear- would never use you. You are not even aware that you're on the internet soliciting fir business- I bet the owner won't be happy.

The drain line from my downspout to the street was clogged with roots. Moody's gave me an estimate of about 2 hours at $325 an hour. It took them 4 hours to do the job taking roots out of a 4-8 foot section of the pipe. They had the audacity to charge us for 5 hours because it took them half an hour to eat lunch and write up the bill. I strongly suggest use a different plumber.
I did make the mistake of not agreeing on a maximum price before they started working. Make sure you do that if you do use them. Also make sure they show you pictures of the pipe before and after

Worse than the crap that they pulled out of my pipes! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER! They came to fix a toilet for us and a week later it was clogged again! They said this was a different problem and charged me again? Then when I told them I'm not paying they sent me to collections. What kind of money grubbing scumbags are they! If you want a fix and don't want to get over charge use a repeatable company! MOODY you put us in a bad Mood! Moody is crap!

Service was extremely overpriced for non complicated job. I would never recommend them after this job as the actual work was even worse then price. They only had to run 2 small water lines from a machine to the outside plumbing. First instead of running the lines under the carpet they want up and around the door in the room. Second what's even worse the two lines had to go through the wall to the outside plumbing and they decided cut 12 inch square out of my wall.
The lines are about the same thickness of number 2 pencil. I have showed multiple plumbing companies and they have all agreed that was all around disaster. There was no need to cut a giant hole out of the wall and the lines could of been non-discreet. Stay away and find a reliably company that does good service at a fair price. This one is neither of those and now I will have to pay someone else to do that job I should of got the first place.
Now the owner is trying act like this horrible job was not done by their employees. Luckily I kept a copy of my receipt. Now what do you have to say about this crap workmanship. You going to come fix my wall and do the job as it should of been done the first time? I doubt it, I'm sure you'll come up with another excuse. The owner is full of crap, my wife never told them or approved them cut a giant whole in wall.
We also did not want the lines just thrown on the ground or to go around the door. I never also gave you permission to discuss my medical condition(equipment) and that just shows what horrible company you are. That did very crap job and sorry I had to wait until I was heathy enough to compose my thoughts to get your review up. I am not going to take this invasion of privacy to the bbb and attorney general!

Found the floor in the bathroom wet with no obvious cause. Hurricanes, pandemics, and floods, oh my! I could hear a rushing sound behind the wall similar to when someone is using the hose outside. Initially, I thought the hose was left on and water had seeped inside but sadly this was not the case. We shutoff the house main supply and began searching for a plumber.
We could already see water had entered the closets and the guestroom so we decided to call an insurance adjuster we have used before. He recommended Moody's plumbing and a few other local plumbing companies. I saw a few Yelpers have had good luck with Moody's so we gave them a call. It was about 10:00 am and the lady on the phone said she could have someone out by 2:00 pm.
Fair enough. When the technicians arrived my husband showed them where the water was found etc. The techs had to open a wall to find the cold water supply line had broken. They got us fixed within a couple of hours and and water back on in the house YIPEE! The job was completed efficiently and cleanly. No complaints. We paid $185.00 for the leak detection and $200.00 for the repair. Plumbing is always expensive. Moody's sent us a service report by email the following day. Nice to have for our records. We would use Moody's again. Good service, clean work.

I had a broken PVC pipe in the wall of the 2nd floor bathroom feeding the commode. I was quoted $85 over the phone to roll the truck for a diagnosis and estimate for repairs. I was out of town when the repairmen arrived and my daughter showed them the broken pipe in the wall which I had cut the drywall and exposed prior to their arrival. No prices were discussed prior to the repair.
My daughter assumed that I was already aware of the charges. The technician stated he had the parts on the truck and made the repairs. Total time for repairs = 1 hr. Total time on premise 1 hr. 35 minutes. Material used for repairs: (1) 90 degree 3/8" PVC elbow, 8" X 3/8" PVC pipe, (1) water stop valve, (1) 1/2" Threaded x 3/8" PVC coupling, (1) 10" x 3/8" section water line, (1) connector to flush valve in tank.
Upon completion of the repair, the repairman submitted the invoice to my daughter for payment for $425.00 and asked her to sign the invoice in (3) places; (1) Authorization to proceed with Diagnosis, (2) Authorization to Proceed with Work, and (3) Acceptance of work performed. ****Note: Charges not listed anywhere on bill except Total. I would NEVER have authorized the repairs had I known the cost in advance, and my daughter had no idea how much the repair should have costed. MOODY PLUMBING took advantage of my daughter and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy, for plumbing services.

I hired Moody Plumbing on 1/7/20 to change out an old main water valve and a hot water heater valve. They were one of 3 plumbers I called. Their price was reasonable and their reviews were mostly good. Mario and Alex showed up on time. They were very friendly, neat and professional. The job was done to my complete satisfaction. But the main reason I wanted to write this review is to say HOW Mario and Alex completed this job.
The 2 other plumbers I called for an estimate said they'd have to cut through the bedroom wall in order to get access to the main pipe, that it was too tight in the utility closet. I was very upset that I'd have to have someone else come and repair the sheetrock and then sand and paint. Well, Mario never mentioned anything about having to cut into the bedroom wall, he just changed out the valves in the utility closet without damaging the bedroom wall, saving me more headaches and money.
What I'm getting at is that while everybody else wanted to take the easy way out and just cut through the bedroom wall to make THEIR job easier, Moody Plumbing made the effort to do the job the more difficult way, thereby making the homeowner, me, happy. Thanks again to Mario and Alex. I'd highly recommend Moody Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing work. They did everything right.

After her last plumber dropped the ball and tried to charge us hundreds of more dollars, I found this company. Randy who is very precise about the whole process for what we needed, quick with getting the insurance ready for our community & they showed up on time doing what they were supposed to do. I'm 100% happy with this company and how Randy handled everything as far as professionalism and customer service! I will definitely use them again and I recommend them for future plumbing issues!

These people are great! I am a contractor in the Coral Springs/Parkland area, I had an issue on a project and called them for help. Jill was great on the phone and they were quick to respond about 2 hours, 3 hours later the problem was averted thanks to the 2 knowledgeable techs they sent out. Thanks Moody for your terrific and quick response LJZ Media Design Specialists

Amazing, honest, skilled, hard-working, intelligent plumbers. I had had an existing plumbing problem for over 40 years, which I was told by Docs would cost over $10,000 to fix. Moody's quoted a fraction of the cost, showed up on time, actually fixed the problem, and now I have my bathrooms back! It feels like I've moved into a new house. Don't fall for the "cracked pipes under the house" scam! In my house, these pipes did not exist! I'm so grateful for Moody Plumbing, words can't even express it!

Excellent, they replaced my 10 old water heater and installed new handles for the water heater. Very satisfied with the work and professionalism. I wrote t them asking for an appointment and quotation and got back to me within 1 working day and explained to me the pre-arrangements as I live in a 55 older building You will never be disappointed with Moody

On Yelp, five stars means, "As good as it gets" and that certainly works for this company. I was heading out the door very early on Friday morning and noticed a puddle of water in front of the water heater. I knew when I bought my house that this appliance was old, so it didn't come as a surprise. But the timing could have been better. I logged onto Yelp and pulled up a list of plumbers, and clicked on the quote button.
I put in the information and within minutes I started getting responses. Most of them were in the same ballpark as far as price went, so that didn't much matter. I then called a neighbor and asked if he knew of anyone, and he recommended Moody. He had used them several times and never had an issue. Well, he was right. Moody was absolutely great to work with.
Their quote was actually a little bit lower than any of the others. They were coming out on Saturday between 9 and 1, which seemed reasonable to me. Around 11 on Saturday morning I received a call that they might be a little late, but they would try to be there by 1. They arrived at 1:10. I was fine with that. Ronnie and Rich could not have been nicer or more professional.
They assessed the situation, had the parts with them and got straight to work. Ronnie said it would take about two hours, and he was pretty much exactly right. By 3:00 p.m. I had a shiny new water heater all hooked up and ready to go. Within 45 minutes, I was able to hit the shower. One thing that I'm a bit confused with is that on Yelp it says that if you request a quote they respond within one day. They responded within the hour. I think that should be updated. I am very happy with the service I received from Moody and I highly recommend them.

I have a leak in the slab of my concrete. I called for a quote and they are telling me it's required to get a leak search ( just had one done yesterday by another company) in order to find the beginning and end of the leak. The entire cold water line needs to be replaced and a leak search is just another way to tack on some charges. Was referred to them. will not use them.

I have called Moody plumbing on two occasions and been very happy with my service both time. The first time I called them out bc I had no idea why my water bill was $400+ a month. They worked with the leak detection company to find the leak and fix it. It was a costly job but they had to rip up concrete and crawl under my house to correct the problem.
On the second occasion the technician that came to my house was so polite and professional. He fixed my problem quickly and efficiently. I recommend Moody to anyone who needs a plumber. Also I live in Ft. Lauderdale and they travel to my house.
