Dave Goldberg Plumbing & Heating was incorporated in 1985, but its origins go back to Dave building up his customer base while working out of his garage and trunk of his car when he came to the area in 1973. Since its humble origins, this one-man show has grown to be one of the most respected and reputable plumbing companies in Northern Westchester and Putnam Counties, employing over a dozen dedicated employees.Dave built his business on a set of standards that we continue to uphold. Dave's son-in-law, Doug Marr has worked for Goldberg Plumbing & Heating, Inc. since 1989 and took over ownership of the business in 2012 following Dave's retirement.

Dave Goldberg Plumbing and Heating's mission is to exceed the expectations of our clients while providing superior service and value.
We offer an array of plumbing services ranging from new installations to service work. Our expertise includes anything from servicing problems with plumbing fixtures to running gas lines for appliances such as stoves, boilers and dryers. We install and service all varieties of water heaters whether they are electric, natural gas, propane, or indirect.
We work on any water-based heating systems, hot water or steam, this includes repairs as well as new installations. Our team can assist with oil to gas conversions as well as the installation of high-efficiency gas boilers. We are not locked into a single brand of products and will evaluate each situation on its own merits and provide suitable options for the customer. We take pride in our boiler installations for their neat appearance, functional piping and valving to make future repairs much less complicated.
We service and install a full line of water systems as well as water treatment systems. Our team can install, repair or replace well pumps, water tanks, and can diagnose water system related issues. We also install and service constant pressure systems and booster pumps to alleviate any pressure issues customers may be experiencing.

You have got to Love Goldberg Plumbing. On Mother's day, Sunday, we lost water pressure. I confirmed that power was going to the well pump, but there was no water pressure. I left a message at the Emergency number and within 5 minutes I got a call back. I explained my situation and she told me to shut off the pump breaker and wait 1 hour. One hour later we had water pressure.
She suggested that I might have a toilet running. I checked and she was right. Now we are back to normal, no service call - Just Great Service. You have got to love Goldberg Plumbing.

If you need plumbing services and you don't call Dave Goldberg plumbing and specifically ask for Anthony you're doing yourself a disservice, I've been using Dave Goldberg plumbing for over 40 years and they have never failed me. Their technician/plumber Anthony is wonderful, he works neat he works fast he works clean he is knowledgeable courteous and a pleasure to bring into your home for plumbing services.
They replaced my sump pump with a new unitAnd they tested it out and cleaned up. Truly a five star operation and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs any of their plumbing services.

Our plumber, Kevin B., arrived in a timely manner, and was extremely proficient in finding and repairing the leak in our faucet and shower. He was very professional, as well as very polite. This is the first time that I've used Dave Goldberg Plumbing, and I'd certainly contact them again for any plumbing or heating problems in my home.

Wish there was an option to leave zero stars! The aftermath of our service call was nothing short of a circus! Allow me to explain. When calling this company, if you have a clogged drain or clogged toilet, the service tech that comes out, is from another company that specializes in "snaking". We were told what our issue was, and that a part was going to be ordered to correct the other issue.
When the repair man left, the toilet was working only to not work a few days later. Never heard back from the company, never heard back from the tech who was "supposed" to be ordering a part. When we called back on 2 separate occasions, we were told that there would be another charge for them to come out. It was during these phone calls that we found out that Goldberg plumbing calls someone else to do the "snaking".
Long story short, the tech denies ever saying that a part would be ordered. The owner of the other snaking company then calls us back, and continues to tell us how we misheard the tech and none of what we were stating ever happened. We were continuously told that we misunderstood and they would be doing nothing to correct the situation. We even offered to meet them half way on the price of the service call, to which they wouldn't budge on the price.
Customer satisfaction is definitely not a top priority to these people! We had to call another company to come and fix the problem! While this company may have good reviews, perhaps this is the reason why they don't feel the need to correct a situation. Unfortunate that the "snaking" company doesn't seem to care much that they technically represent Goldberg plumbing when they come on a service call.
To add just a tiny bit more to this review, when we were repeatedly told that we misunderstood, the owner of the company stated that his son was the tech that came out and his son would never say or do that. Enough said.

The office staff was friendly and responsive, and they were proactive in dealing with scheduling around a snowstorm on the day of service. The plumber Carlus was on time and worked quickly, very communicative in explaining the workings of the water heater to me, and was properly masked and distanced the entire time. Goldberg Plumbing found a leak in a bathroom that two other plumbers from a very large plumbing company misdiagnosed almost costing me thousands, wanting to rip out a shower floor to redo the pan and drain pies. When in fact a Goldberg plumber found the real cause of the leak. A couple of pinholes in a waterline. Problem solved an hour later for a few hundred! Great Job, saving me literally thousands in not having to rip up the base of a shower and redo it.

I've used their services several times, recently I called with a plumbing issue. The staff was great from the first call I made with the office I spoke to Zoanne and Priscilla and they both were very helpful answering all my questions. When the technician arrived later that day he was very knowledgeable and helped me fix the issue within the first hour on site. I would highly recommend their services.

Called this plumbing company to fix a mixer in the bathtub at the end of April 2016. The part had to be ordered and we were provided an estimate. A week later, the part arrived, and the plumbers came to install the unit. They did not order all the parts required to fix the problem. The final bill exceeded the estimate as they charged me for the extra hour to pick up the additional piece which they neglected to order properly to begin with.
To add insult to injury, when they shut down and opened the main water valve we lost water pressure in our kitchen (which was fine prior to the repair). I did not realize this until after the plumber left. My husband had been ill and my mistake for not calling the plumbing company back the same day. Two days after the work was done my husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness requiring multiple doctors visits and hospitalizations until his passing.
The kitchen water issue, although annoying, was not at the top of my priority list. I did not address this problem until late July as a result of our personal, life changing events. The office manager has advised they will not back up their work past 30 days and will not come to fix the issue they created without additional charges even though there are extenuating circumstances.
Not a company I would recommend or work with in the future - in addition to a lack of compassion for their customers, they proved themselves incompetent at pricing, parts ordering, and do not have a meaningful guarantee on their workmanship.
