We've had ASAP drains come out on two occasions and will be looking for another company the next time we need plumbing services. The first reason is because it's simply too expensive. I know plumbing/drain services aren't cheap but I think there are better options in the area. We got charged $330 for an hours visit. They default charge you $85 if they need to take off the toilet.

The receipt just said "custom price" with no cost breakdown or explanation of what was done. It felt like that number could've been pulled from anywhere. We've called the office a few times as we want to see a breakdown and the price was over $100 more than we were quoted. Still waiting to hear back. The second reason is communication. I had to ask question after question to understand what the problem was and what steps were taken to fix the issue.

For a $330 bill I really need to know what what was done and what they found so I don't ever find myself needing to call again. They didn't find anything, suggested one possible reason why but after I said no I hadn't done that they had nothing else to say. For a topic like plumbing that the average person doesn't know a lot about I would suggest being able to talk to people about what they saw and ways to prevent it, especially if you're presenting them with a hefty bill. Lastly reason was overall professionalism.

The first visit a few months ago, the things the technician were talking to us about were odd. The second visit they left without connecting the water line back to the toilet.yikes. I went to use the toilet and it wouldn't flush. I turned the water valve on since we thought maybe they just forgot to turn it back on and water shot out across the floor.

We had to call and have someone else who actually knew what they were doing come back and reconnect it. This third technician was appalled that the second technician didn't connect it and they also cleaned up the bathroom as it was pretty dirty from the second technician. We tried ASAP twice and overall were dissatisfied with the service and price.

Like an idiot I backed up the drains from the garbage disposal. I called my plumber who told me in no uncertain terms to call ASAP Drains. I did and the result was a very polite person answered the phone. Got me an appointment the next day. They called ahead and arrived on time. Fixed the blockage, cleaned up after themselves and were gone in an hour. HIGHLY recommend this service. Totally worth the price.

We were sort of in a crappy situation last night and Devon came to the rescue. First class people with a first class company would recommend them at this time. 5 1/2 stars and a 10 rating

ASAP is the best! I am a homeowner and a landlord, and plumbing issues are always an emergency. They are prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely honest. Their prices are always very fair and the service folks have never failed to be super nice. I'm very thankful to have this company as a local resource.

Great experience with ASAP in Salem, MA! They came quickly to resolve our drain problem and provided great service, while charging less than we were expecting to pay and giving a 30 day guarantee. Our technician, Otis, was excellent at his job, explained our issue, and fixed it quickly, on top of being super friendly and reassuring. We'll be using ASAP from now on and recommending to others!

I do not usually write reviews but had to do one for this young man, Alex. Without going into too many details, my tub was clogged and I called ASAP Drains. This was not an easy fix. He went above and beyond and stayed a couple of hours which normally this job would not have taken this long. He was a life saver. I highly recommend this company and will always ask for Alex. We were so lucky it was you who showed up, Thanks again Alex for all of your help!

My neighbors gave me a good reference for a plumber but he didn't do clogged drains but he referred me to ASAP drains. I immediately looked on yelp and saw great reviews for them with a few that weren't so good. I ended up calling and got an appointment ASAP. Alex had shown up and immediately got working. We had just moved into this house and the bathroom sink kept randomly getting clogged. Turns out it was hair and floss. The drain drains perfect now. It was a set $150 to unclog it with a 30day guarantee. ASAP is now my go to. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We had to call ASAP twice over the last several months for backups in two different elderly relatives basements. Both times they came over within hours, were quick, knowledgeable, and efficient. They were standing in smelly poopy mess and were professional and unfazed, I was impressed. The price was fair and the guys were great! Would definitely call them again.

I couldn't have had a better experience. I called the Cambridge location because I live in Somerville. The dispatcher on the phone was very nice and helpful, and quoted me for 150$ for a blocked tub drain. The employee Alex came right on time. He was very nice and efficient, the job was done in under an hour. He was very patient with my dog who wanted to sit in the bathroom and watch the whole time. The job was done and I was charged exactly what was quoted, which I think is more than reasonable! Thanks!

Had a backed up sewer line with poop water filling up in the bathtub and brown water gushing into the basement. Definitely a sh** storm. Called at 11 and they were here by 12, so fast they probably left skid marks in the road. Very professional and polite even though it was a bit of a crappy job for them to take on, and they were done by 1 which still gave me time to drop the kids off at the pool before work. $220 is always hard to part with but it was a clean drop and I didn't wipe my bank account. I'll also save a bunch on my electric bill because I'll probably never take a bath again. Rob and Gary were turdally awesome!

I reside in PSL Florida but own a 2 family home in Lynn, Ma. I got a phone call from the1st floor tenant on a Saturday of all days that there was a clog of some sorts. I called Lynn Public works they came out & determined issue was within the property he recommended I call ASAP Drain. Will never regret that call to ASAP Drain! Shortly after my call to the after hours a gentleman by the name of Nick called me back, gave me ETA, notified me when he was near by (so I could alert my tenants), showed up & was there for a little bit. Nick. Bless his heart as best as he could with what he had to work with he removed some of the products that was causing the clog. Nick explained what needed to be done (by a plumber) in order for him to complete the work.

I Called what felt like a million plumbers with no results. Finally got a hold of a plumbing company that came out on Monday. I notified Nick that it was ready for him to go back to finish the job but I understand he was unable to that same day. He said he could go today (Tuesday morning) between 9-10 am & sure enough at 8:57AM Nick was texting me that he was at the property.

Shortly afterward Nick texted me with images of what he had removed that was causing the clog. are you ready? Yes! Black duck tape & plastic baggies. Gotta love irresponsible tenants. I was thinking that based on all that Nick had to go thru & do my bill would be sky rocket.but no Bill was $182.00! To ASAP Drain Nick was amazing, kind, extremely professional & will definatly recommend your company & specially Nick. Marcie Correia & mom Zelia Fuentes.

These guys are great. I've had 2 separate times where I needed a drain snaked (Kitchen sink, and bathtub). I called them in the morning and they were there by early-afternoon. They are quick to address the problem, and have competitive pricing. Highly recommend!

Way cheaper than RotoR***er, ASAP Drains also have trucks driving around all over the Boston area and can get to you quickly. I had them come out this morning to attend to a clog I couldn't clear behind my kitchen sink. Lou arrived promptly and fixed the problem for $137. Compare this to RotoR***er, who wanted $450 for starters, but thought it might cost more if they ran into trouble. Lou cleared the clog quickly and taught me his trick. I've relied on ASAP drains for institutional services before, and this is the first time I've used them for home.

I hear that they're the folks your plumber calls when he can't solve the problem himself. Save yourself trouble and expense by calling ASAP Drains first. They're responsive, friendly and reasonable.

We recently contacted ASAP drains after a Plummer recommended them to assist with, what we thought, was a clogged drain in our shower. I called them on a Monday and they came out first thing Wednesday a.m. at my request. Jeff showed promptly and assessed the situation. He didn't think it was a clogged drain issue and expressed concern snaking the pipes on such an old house with out real cause.

While he waited, we contacted another plumber who said not to use the snake and would come out. Oddly it turned out that water was building up behind the face plate on the shower and after a while it would overflow and leak back into the wall, causing a leak downstairs. $5 for a tube of silicon caulking and problem solved. It was great to work with an honest contractor for a change. Even though we didn't use their services we would definitely recommend using ASAP.

Called today, Thanksgiving! with a completely backed up kitchen sink.panic was setting in. The technician called right back.was on the way and here in less than 20 minutes. He ( i didn't get his name) was polite and professional. had the drain cleared in under 10 minutes! ASAP charges a fee of $50 extra due to holiday.which I think is quite reasonable and our dinner was saved! Great service.would highly recommend.

We called ASAP they came for the service on the same day. I had previously called Roto Rooter which quoted me $375 for the job in our kitchen sink. I thought that was way too much, and called ASAP which came over right away, the plumber was very friendly and professional and did an awesome job for $150! That's way less than half the price Roto Rooter quoted us! I highly recommend ASAP!

Chris arrived about 70 minutes after I placed my call on a Friday evening. With a friendly, professional manner, he made quick work of the clog that stopped my kitchen sink still. He snaked out my drain pretty far, ensuring my gunked up pipes were clean. As he worked, he offered advice for cleaning it out myself without tools, recommended a couple tools I could purchase if I was so inclined, then cleaned up to go on to the next job.

This took less than 30 minutes and was only $152. If I had called a plumber, it would have taken a week or more to schedule, I would have likely needed to take a day off to be home, and it could have easily cost twice as much.

Positive: they came quickly, resolved the clog. + 2. Negative: they left our bathroom in a DISGUSTING state. it was like a war zone. i arrived home from work and the floor, under the sink, the walls, the toilet, the mirror, the shower curtain, bath mat, even the door frame were all splattered with disgustingness. now i assume the guy who came to visit us is a professional who does this all the time, so why on earth would he not say to us "hey, you probably want to take stuff out of here because it might make a mess." i had to throw away my toothbrushes (dirty), my tampons (soaked with disgustingness), etc. and i spent an hour and a half scrubbing every surface of my bathroom to get it cleaned. i understand a mess is definitely possible in these situations but i do NOT understand why they did not give us the courtesy of of a heads up. that to me is rude and unprofessional.
