Reid Plumbing Well Manager was established as a producer of low yield water well solutions. Born in the Sourland Mountain region in New Jersey, an area notorious for low yield wells, Well Manager understands the hardships an inadequate water supply can create. It is this understanding together with years of experience dealing with inadequate water sources that has brought us to our current status. The first Well Manager was developed in the 1990s by Andy Reid of Reid Plumbing Products. We purchased Reid Plumbing Products in March of 2017 and began Well Manager LLC.

We have had a Well Watcher for about 13 months and it has been a great solution for our home and families water demands. I have limited plumbing and electrical experience and Dan answered all of my questions and was available to walk me through installing the system. We noticed immediately significant water pressure improvements which seemed to allow our appliances (dishwasher, washer) to function better.

Most importantly during periodic drought conditions we were able to see when we needed to conserve by looking at the water level in the tank. Previously we were blind to low water levels in the well and had a well pump burn out due to silt. The Well Watcher system automatically shuts down the well pump before water level is too low and gives it a break for two hours allowing water level to raise.

In these situations, we see great water level recovery in the tank overnight and during the day. Just recently, 12 months in and during Christmas week, we had our first issue and Dan was very responsive having me troubleshoot over the phone and quickly determine a bad pump. They sent out a new pump under warranty and I was able to unscrew the bad pump and install the new one completely fixing the issue. While waiting for the pump to be delivered, we were able to easily bypass the Well Watcher and maintain our water needs.

I've been chasing gremlins in my well-water system since the underground line from the well broke last mid-winter (uggh). Each fix revealed a new problem. Researching solutions led me to Well Manager. Dan, Lynn and Ethan could not have been more forthcoming with information about their products and pricing, or more generous with their time in helping me troubleshoot my problems and assess the suitability of their products to resolving them.

Ultimately I concluded that their systems, while smart and well-engineered (no pun intended!), were not the best/right solutions to my particular situation. But if my needs change I will not hesitate to go back to them to continue the conversation.

Critical: Quality Installed a Well Manager four years ago. System seems like a great idea. Has given us issues form the start. Buyer beware the pump attached to the well manager unit is only under warrantee for a year. Ours died today, $1,200 plus installation.

We searched for the best option to maintain a healthy well and found The Well Manager. We have been so pleased with the performance of this system. Our well isn't very deep and we have horses so it's imperative we have water. Every once in awhile we would leave the water running at the horse trough and it drained the well manager. What peace of mind that we knew it wasn't draining the well.

Our tank filled up at the normal rate and all was good. It's so much better than cistern tanks that just hold the water. This is constantly cycled through. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a well (and we have!).

Dan and the Well Manager team are awesome. The product does what it says it does and it does it well. I purchased the Well Manager for a 10-15 gallon/hr well and have plenty of water for multiple showers, dishwasher, power washing, clothes washer, etc. I have had the system over a year with just one issue. The team was very responsive and got me up and running again quickly. It mostly runs as an appliance and has required no maintenance otherwise. Way cheaper than digging a new well!

Well Manager 425 has been one of the best investments I have made for my home. My system is now 16 years old and still performing flawlessly. It has allowed me to balance my indoor water use (2 teenagers) and an outdoor irrigation system and protect my well from overdrawing groundwater. I recently made some modifications to my well house and the technical support from Dan was fast and spot-on and enable my contractors to quickly perform their duties which saved me both time and money.

Well Manager is a cost effective solution to low well yields. In my case, the only alternative was to retrofit the old system with a 2,000 gallon tank, booster pump, and expanded well house. The cost estimate to do that was almost $13K, so Well Manager was far cheaper. Thanks for a great product.

This is a customer install. Our well was originally yielding about 3.5 gpm when first installed. After 11 years it had dropped to about 1 gpm. It is only 250' deep and I figure we only had about 100' max reservoir in the well. In 2014 we put a 18'x36' pool in and we were unable to keep up with the evaporation to maintain the pool level. This was system rocks.

It doesn't over pump our well and gives us enough water to maintain our pool. We can even conservatively run our irrigation system, but I really need to add another tank or 2 to run that. This setup gives us 450 gallons of water for a family of 4 this is plenty of water. Andy was great with helping me spec out this system and with my install. We have had this in place since 2015. 5 years later we had an issue with our automatic pump that controls the well pump. Dan was great and walked me through trouble shooting steps over the phone.

He was very patient and walked me through things step by step. We finally found out that the problem was some silt that was in the clear back pressure tube that keeps that kicks the pump off so it will not pump dry. Cleaned out the tube and all is good. Dan recommended that I put in a 5 micron filter in between the water entry and the tanks to mitigate this issue in the future. I highly recommend this system. It will keep you from having to drill a new well and give you more water pressure than most city water systems.

Installed a Modular Well Manager over 4 years ago. I live near the company headquarters and bought one on site from the designer Andy Reid. I was impressed by what he developed and he was very generous going through how the whole thing worked and how it was assembled. With the modular, all the components were separate from the tank. Got two 150 gallon tanks. Took about a day to install myself as a first timer.

Mostly due to figuring out how to situate it and had both pex and copper to plumb. Wiring was straight forward. Has worked flawlessly since. If you have iron deposits, I would suggest a 5 micron sediment filter which will keep the tanks cleaner. I used oxalic acid to clean the tanks to like new before the filter, but they are much cleaner now with.

Well Manager does what it claims to do and is a quality build. Recently replaced my original very old 80 gallon pressure tank to a small 14 gal with a cycle stop valve which converts it into a constant pressure style. Got instant help from Dan who is extremely helpful and gave me suggestions right over the phone. Highly recommend this product.

Dan at Well Manager was extremely professional and helpful from the very first phone call to their company. Not only did he listen to the needs of the customer he recommended the best solution. The ordering/delivery and installation could not have been more seamless. The difference this product made to the quality of life, having water on demand at the right pressure and flow, is priceless.

The alternative to correcting the problem would have been an extreme hardship financially with a long delay in resolving the water problem. We are certainly thrilled to have purchased this product and dealt with such a great company.
