We used Monroe Plumbing to install a new water heater about 6 months ago. As of 1 week ago, the gas valve had already stopped working. We reached out to Monroe, but they were unable to get to us, so we used another local company. We learned that the water heater brand, Reem, that had been installed was notorious for failed gas valves, and the part was on 5-10 day back order. Luckily, the other service company was able to get them to send us a part within 3 days, and told us to contact Monroe, as the water tank was under warranty with them.

After 6 days without hot water, we reached out to Monroe to install the new gas valve. They told us that it would be another 5 days before they could get a technician out, and had no time to slot us in but would try. Refusing to go another 5 days without hot water, we once again reached out to the other company. They were at our house 3 hours later, and discovered that once again, we received a faulty part from Reem, and that there was no imminent solution.

We ended up having to replace our brand new water heater. Monroe's response? It was not their problem, nor would they pick up the faulty tank as they were "surprised the other company did not do so already". This is the second time our family has received a faulty/cheap part from Monroe. Based on the lack of quality and poor customer service, we will never be using Monroe again.

Driver of truck #77 blocked traffic on 422 east bound for several miles by riding beside a truck hauling a trailer. Called the number and lady said she would contact him. This went on all the way the the route 44 connection.

Alex was great to work with when replacing our failed tank water heater. I was interested in tankless and Alex explained all the options to me in detail and allowed my wife and I to make an informed decision. He was able to get a crew to our house the very next day, they we're very professional and did an amazing job. In less than 24 hours we had water again, and endless hot water at that! Very happy I chose Monroe Plumbing.

First call: rotted water heater, they got the warrenty checked, and I got a new one the day they arrived to work, took care of all the paperwork for me. Second call: sump pump had two bad components, swapped it out that day.

Terrible on the road! Tailgating me I could never imagine using this company. Don't drive like a jerk in your company van.

I ask for a bid to do plumbing for a church restroom remodel. After calling a few times the commercial salesman would not call me back. He instead ask the person who answers the phone to call me and say they are to busy to look at any commercial work this summer. So that suggests no one should call Monroe plumbing for estimates til fall. The salesman are just to busy to return a call.
