Harry was absolutely amazing. They promised to arrive between 8-8:30 so that I could get to work on time, and they arrive promptly at 8am. Not only did they turn around a quote quickly onsite (comparable companies have needed 1-2 days to produce a quote), but they completed the work the same day! Very friendly and professional. The work has all been delivered exactly as promised. Would highly recommend Korte and Harry!

The guys that came out to perform the work were great. It was awesome to see a young man and older gentleman working as a team. They explained what was going on, took care of it quickly and were conscious enough to clean up as they went. I told them I could follow them around all day just to listen to them. They did a great job adding a smile to a unplanned expense. Thanks Irie and Mike!

Carl and Irie did excellent and thorough work. They explained the problem and helped me make a right decision as to the right garbage disposal to install. My old bronze trim kit didn't fit the mouth of the new disposal so Carl called the Korte parts department and they've located the right size trim. Will come back this Friday with the part. I'm very pleased with all that was completed. They are two respectable men.

Korte installed a whole-house generator for us. They gave us the information that we needed to choose the best option for our house. A representative was here to measure and check out our natural gas supply. The generator was installed a few weeks later, with no complications. A month later, a service tech stopped by to make sure everything was working correctly.

We were impressed and pleased with all of the Korte team. We've scheduled Korte to service our air and furnace and expect more of the same professional work. 2nd trip was to service our air conditioner. We were very pleased with the professional work and the friendly technicians. We have already scheduled an estimate for plumbing, and will use Korte for our fall furnace service/cleaning.

The electrician, Coco, was friendly and professional. He was efficient, explained what was needed and answered all my questions thoroughly. The plumber, Carlos, and his apprentice Mason, were both friendly and very knowledgeable. Carlos helped me understand what I needed to do to take advantage of a lifetime warranty and explained things in a clear, respectful manner.

Terrible customer service and deceptive practices. We had a toilet leaking on a weekend and Korte sent a tech to "fix" it - basically changed out the shut-off valve at the wall as well as the float/flapper inside the toilet tank. They charged me nearly $1,300.00 to fix this toilet (and an additional toilet in our basement). A week later, the toilet upstairs overflowed continuously after flushing until my wife could turn off the water main in our basement, causing massive water damage to our home. Korte sent a second tech who said the toilet was clogged by functioning "normally.

I have had two other plumbers assess the situation and said there is absolutely no reason a clogged toilet would overflow and run continuously if the tank components were installed and functioning correctly. Korte refuses to refund our money or consider paying our deductible. If you have plumbing issues - GO WITH SUMMERS PLUMBING AND HVAC. They came and installed four brand-new toilets for nearly the same price as Korte charged to "fix" our toilet.

I have now turned the entire situation over to our homeowner's and I hope their lawyers make Korte pay every penny of the repairs. Will never have them touch anything in our home again. I only gave them a single start because I had to to post the review.

I built a house and Korte did some work for me in it. After closing, Adam told me he would come back and be able to put a dimmer on a light for me and give me a quote for some additional lights. A MONTH after numerous unresponded emails and calls, Adam finally got back with me only to tell me they are going to have to decline the work because they don't have the time. (WHAT?!) & then tells me he'll let me know about the dimmer which I still have no answer. NEVER have I had such bad customer service! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Don't waste your time with Korte. Really trying to figure out how in the world they have 4.8 out of 5. I'd give them 0 out of 5 stars if it would let me.

I needed another GFCI outlet, light fixture, and security camera installed so I went with Korte! I had Harry come out and give me a quote and it was a great price for what I needed done! Although they're booking out a week or so Ron was very responsive in the scheduling process and getting the right guys for the job. Today they came out and did all of the work I needed done, Harry and Cliff did a swell job!

They were swift and attentive with the work at hand! They knew to keep the inside garage door shut as to keep the ever so friendly and curious cat inside. I wouldn't recommend anyone else to take care of your professional trades needs! These are the people keeping the world turning! Thank you Korte!

Ryan provided maintenance service on our Generac Generator. He did an excellent job on checking all aspects of the mechanics and settings. We appreciate the information he shared. We highly recommend him as he is very knowledgeable and kind!

Faulty lighting system in our basement was creating havoc and a potential fire hazard. I called a local business here in Van Wert, who because of being booked solid, recommended Korte. I was beyond pleased with the technician that showed up and the job he did. He explained options thoroughly and gave recommendations. I was given a heads up phone call reminder of our appointment and no hidden fees. The problems were detected and fixed in a couple hours. I will definitely use Korte again and recommend them to anyone.

Ryan maintained and repaired our generator. He always can be relied upon to consistently maintain a high quality of work, and is always professional and friendly.

We had a shower head and handle replaced as well as a faucet in the sink The work on the shower entailed cutting a hole in the drywall to get to the plumbing to complete the install. Very precise and clean cut of the drywall. Carlos does a fantastic job. He explains what is needed for the repairs every steps of the way. When he went to turn back on the water to the house, due to the age of the handle, it would not turn back on.

We called the city water department who arrived right away to turn off the main to the house. Carlos replaced the old part and we were good to go. (I think there may have been cheering on my part.) I am very thankful for Carlos and our city's water department personnel.

Have not had any problems thus far. Didn't arrive until after the appointment window and arrived on site without knowing what they were hired to do. Apparently when I scheduled the appointment, the office staff neglected to note down that it was an install vs a repair job and that I already had the unit. I would attribute the issues with the office staff. Korte does good work but I won't be leaving work until I get the call that they are available to head to my house next time.

Leo Gardner. HVAC technician, was very personable and professional. He performed the yearly maintenance check on our furnace He also investigated and solved a problem of the furnace shutting off periodically in cold weather. Leo explained the issue and the possible solutions. In addition he installed a smart thermostat to further prevent the occasional furnace shut offs. Leo presented very understandable explanations of the furnace problem and very understandable instructions for the smart thermostat. Leo also left his business card so we could contact him again if we had difficulty programing the smart thermostat. It was a pleasure working with Leo. We highly recommend Leo and the Korte company.

Mike was here within a few hours of my placing the call. Lots of hustle and knowledge. We both had to dig for the external clean out, but no complaining from him. He found it, cleaned it out thoroughly. Ran snake for quite a length to assure no further roots further down. Quick job fully restoring service. Service: Drain unblocking

We had to call after hours because our A/C went out on a Saturday when it was around 90 degrees outside. A technician came out and we paid $455 for him to fix a small part that cost $5.00. Monday afternoon our A/C broke again and we called them back and they said if they had someone come out it would cost us $230 unless it was the same issue that. it was before.

Since we obviously had no way of knowing that we decided to having someone else come and look at it the next day. Our new technician checked over everything rather than staying for 15 minutes. It was such a waste of money and we learned our lesson. Even though we paid enough for multiple visits - they could care less about the job they did for us and it was all about the money.

Today we had 2 wonderful Korte technicians install a new carrier furnace and A/C units in our house. They were here on time and did a great job of removing out 7nits and cleaning up after completion. They also instructed me on the basics of using the new unit. I highly recommend using Korte.

Over charges for service! Asked the service tech what would be the charge to fix and I thought he said $45. When I get the bill after the work is complete it was $485. When questioned about not having the rate in the preauthorization I was told he always put the rate in after completed. I called the office to address and was told someone would call me.

No one ever called I had to call back. When questioned about the rate was told it was a fair rate. I told him I disagree and his tech did not have the rate on the preauthorization and I thought he stated $45 for the install. This is a $50 part and the tech was at my home for maybe an hour and the installation took maybe 30min. Even if you allow a mark-up on the part and include the service call fee this was should have been $200 at best. Service manager would not do anything stated it was a fair rate! I will never use this company in the future. Top it off it wasn't even the problem!

They are fast and on time. They replaced a water heater the same morning it caught on fire. Just had them put in a new furnace and AC unit. Very pleased with their work. I would recommend them on repairs.

Thank you for rushing out and replacing our sump pump on such short notice! Workers were very nice friendly and great customer service! We've had Korte do multiple projects and pleased every time! Korte does it all is our go to for help! Thank you for helping out on Mother's Day when you could have been spending it with your mom's! This mom really appreciated you saving the day!

I have been a customer of Korte for 5 years. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Their reps are courteous and professional. They are always helpful too. They showed me how to change my furnace filter and gave me some advice to help me out. Love them!

Carlos was super friendly and professional! Pricing to replace water heater was reasonable, and they had my heater in stock a day early and even called to see if I had availability to get it done (of course I took them up on it!). 48 hours later I received a follow up call to ensure I was happy with everything. I'll definitely use them for future needs. Home repair is never anything fun, so thank you for making it friendly, and easy.

Had a plumbing leak my technician Carlos showed up ahead of schedule, we discussed options and cost up front and proceeded to correct the problem quickly! Carlos was super friendly and professional and fixed the problem at a cost less than expected! Thank you!

No problem charging someone more than 500 for a half hour work, arrival to departure. The last time I will ever use this company. I owned a service company for several years and would never try to charge like this, I would not have had repeat business. Guess these guys will learn that the hard way.

I just arrived at my mother in laws house. She told me she was having trouble with her faucet. I offered to help but it needed to be done before I could get there. She called Korte. I had no idea that they would charge her more than $900 to install a P-trap, put in a faucet that we provided, and a new garbage disposal they supplied which costs $99 on Amazon.

About 3 hours of work to install. I have been in the trades all my life. There are good people out there willing to work for a fair price, and then there are companies like this.

Korte does it all. I remembered their ads when my pipes froze last winter and called them. Guess what? Doing it "all" does NOT include dealing with frozen pipes. Swell. Maybe they need a new song.;0

Great first experience with Korte! Called regarding a leaking toilet and hoping to get someone over to look at quickly. I called first thing in the morning, and by noon I had a technician at my house. He assessed the situation and quoted me in a timely manner. I am not expert at pricing, but I didn't feel as though it was extremely under or over priced.

We did run into some difficulty as the toilet suggested ended up being too large for the space. However, the technician made sure he reconciled the issue and came back the next day to make it right. He was extremely friendly, professional and helpful. I will definitely be keeping Korte in mind for the future!

I will never use Korte and I suggest everyone in Cherry Hill and the Fort Wayne area in general use a different company.
