A: If your habits in water usage have not changed, there are several diagnostic possibilities. You could have a leaking faucet, toilet, or it could be a leak in the outside water line. Q: I have had my sewer line cleaned before and the plumber said that there were no obstructions but I may have a belly in my line.

Our tech Hayden was up front and honest about our entire Plumbing nightmare. He did everything he could to explain what he was doing and get our sink back in order and our house functional again! We felt the price was fair considering the labor he had to put into the job. We will absolutely be using them again.

We've used them 4 times now. We thought the first 3 times went well and were related to new toilet installations and a new faucet. Pricing is competitive. They haven't handled my most recent plumbing transaction well at all. We did a remodeling project, converting the bathtub to a shower, installing a new vanity, and reconnecting the toilet.
The initial quote was handled incorrectly by Sam and he was unprofessional at best. He didn't want to write out a quote because he stated our bathroom remodel would take over 90 days. Projected time line was 2-4 weeks, so Sam second guessed our remodeler. Not his job. I had to force him to write out the quote and he was rude the remainder of the time at the residence.
They had to send another plumber to handle the project. The second plumber, Brandon, they sent didn't properly set up the drain to the shower. Despite telling him numerous times that we were tiling, he installed the drain for a shower pan which meant it was up too high. When I called to complain, because our remodeler caught it immediately, their customer service rep Jamie argued with me and stated they must have done it right because the city passed it for inspection.
That isn't what the city looks for. They should know better. The city looks at connections only. The plumber that completed the work tried to get our remodeler to correct their work for them. Uh, no. He isn't a plumber and shouldn't have to take on that type of liability. I had to call the owner Curt Longanecker to complain in order to get them to correct their work.
He sent a different plumber, Justin, to complete the rough in. In addition, they scheduled the inspection incorrectly as a sewer inspection, the city cancelled out the appointment, and they didn't bother to notify me. I only found out when I called the city to find out when they'd be out. Then their employee tried blaming it on the city, making it sound like they just arbitrarily cancelled out the appointment and rescheduled it without their knowledge.
We scheduled about a week ago to have everything reconnected because our remodeling project is done. Justin came out and stated the vanity wasn't going to line up with the plumbing and needed to be moved, and they couldn't do it now. Said we'd need to reschedule another appointment and there would be an additional $350 charge. Three plumbers had been out previously, I had all three measure the wall and the vanity to verify it was going to line up, and all three stated plumbing would not need to be moved.
This included Justin. And, their previous plumber that installed our toilet a year ago likely bolted the toilet down to hard and dislodged the bolt and damaged the flange, but the current plumber tried blaming it on our remodeler. The remodeler was going to pay for it, $160 for about $14 in parts, and Heartland was going to take payment directly from him.
But three other people have now looked at the damage and stated only the prior installer could have caused the damage due to bolting down too hard. I called Curt, the owner, to complain again. He said he'd find out what was going on and would call me back. Never called. I texted him pictures and have heard nothing from him directly. He had Jamie call me back this morning.
They are now refusing to finish the work because they state "they haven't been able to satisfy us". Seriously. What terrible integrity. This isn't our problem; it is a problem with their company and they should have completed the project as contracted. Now we have to find another plumber at the last minute with a house guest prior to Christmas.
One functional full bathroom in the house. Good luck with your business model, Heartland Plumbing. My next step is to file a review with the BBB and to open an Attorney's General complaint with the state of Kansas.

Had a sewage backup in the basement, and contacted Heartland Plumbing on the advice of a neighbor. John B. was amazing -- he worked diligently to auger the main line and removed a ton of roots. He took the time to explain what to expect in the future and really put our minds at ease. Affordable, professional, helpful. First time I've ever felt good after having to call a plumber!

These folks get it. From the moment they answer the call, give clear estimates for basic services, dispatch professionals when they say they will and repair or replace after communicating clearly, they are simply top-notch. We've called on them over the last 15 years for home service and service for our business in commercial property. Heartland Plumbing for the win.

They are the hands down best plumber in the area. I had another plumber in to fix a backed up toilet. They offered to replace a pipe for $2000. Heartland fixed my issue for a service call and explained why things were backed up and how to prevent a similar situation in the future. They are the standard.

Incredibly disappointed by Heartland Plumbing. I called on Wednesday morning early about a cracked pipe actively leaking. I received a phone call back and advised the earliest they could have someone out was Friday afternoon. Friday afternoon a very nice gentleman comes out and tells me he will email me a quote as soon as possible. Several days go by and I hear nothing from them. I called back to no answer. I ended up hiring someone else who came out the very next day and had everything fixed. It has now been 11 days without an email or a call back.

Showed up on time. However, performed virtually no work and still charged me almost $100.00. Had some general questions in which he was very vague to answer. He claimed the $100.00 covered if I needed him back out within 7 days, it would be free. Judging from what the original issue was, he and I both knew he wouldn't need to come back out. I try to keep it local as much as I can, but I will not use heartland again.

After several calls to local plumbing companies over several days with no reply, I called the Heartland office and as luck would have it they had someone in my area. Kenny arrived as scheduled, located the leak in the crawl space. One hour and three minutes from my call to Heartland Plumbing, the leak was repaired and I was paying for the fast response and excellent service. Heartland has our business from this day forward, with their fair, friendly, prompt response and service.

Heartland Plumbing was referred to us by a long-term customer, and have quickly become our go-to company for any plumbing issues in our older home. Their technician, Jordon, is reliable, professional and performs excellent work. We have relied on him over the past six months for several jobs, and he never disappoints. We highly recommend Heartland Plumbing for your plumbing needs.

We had Mike from Heartland Plumbing come to our house to do numerous plumbing jobs. He was extremely professional, kind, honest and very helpful. He gave me several suggestions that actually saved me quite a bit of money. That impressed me greatly, as that's not the usual way most businesses do business. I will use this company over and over again and highly recommend them.

We have been working with Heartland plumbing for over 3 years. We purchased an older home in significant need of upgrading. Heartland has done large scale sewer replacement, new addition plumbing, on demand water heater replacement, rerouting of plumbing in the basement, new bathroom stubbing in the basement. the list of work is extensive. I can't say enough about Mike and his team.
They are extremely knowledgeable, efficient and easy to work with. They provide personalized service and make you feel like a valued customer. Their rates are competitive and service standards high. I highly recommend Heartland.

This is the most professional and honest Plumbing organization I've ever seen. They not only met every commitment, they came in way under the estimate. John and Acy were true pros, caring and conversational, went to work and finished right away. I'd never recommend anyone else for any Plumbing job you might have. In a word: integrity.

Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with Heartland Plumbing. I would recommend them for their customer service and professionalism. We contacted Heartland Plumbing to re-route our plumbing piping required when switching from a septic system to the city sewer: 1. I contacted Heartland Plumbing to get an estimate, and got a response right away.
We set-up the time to meet at the house. The estimators showed up on time, were very professional and cordial. Before they left, they gave me an itemized written quote. I was pleasantly surprised that the cost estimate was below what I thought it would be. 2. We had to schedule the work around the progress of the city sewer installation. Again, Heartland was very accommodating and were willing to hold their pricing until we were ready to do the work. 3.
When the time came to do the work, I contacted the office, and they scheduled the appointment at the time that I requested (I gave them about 1 week notice). All the responses were very prompt and professional. 4. The serviceman who came to do the work - Mike - called 30 minutes before the appointed time to let me know he was on the way. Before he started, he gave me an overview of how he planned to re-routed the piping and explained why he planned it that way in lieu of other options, and answered all my questions and concerns before he started.
The work progressed very efficiently - he knew exactly what to do, had all the required tools and materials. He installed all new materials (did not try to reuse any old ones) and hauled away the old demolished piping. He picked up all the trash and debris that was generated by the work, and left the area clean and neat. 5. In addition to the agreed-upon scope of work, I asked Mike to do additional plumbing work - the toilet did not flush right, and the valve to the irrigation line was leaking.
He gave me a quote for the added work, I agreed to the amount (again, I thought it was very reasonable), and he fixed it right away. Before he left, he gave me an itemized receipt and a warranty statement. We will call Heartland Plumbing next time we need any plumbing work done on our property

I had a tech come to my home to check out the plumbing. He was taking photos of things in my house not related to plumbing, and then texting them to his friends. (He admitted this). Then I was overcharged by double the amount. I contacted management about it and all they did was yell at me over the phone and talked over me. They were completely unreasonable and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They lost my business.
