Jarboe's service was amazing. They scheduled for a repairman to come out the next day during a heat wave when my AC went out. Chris my Jarboe's repairman was awesome and had my system back up and running within 30 minutes. Price was very reasonable as is the maintenance plan! Service: A/C system repair

I had a new air conditioning unit put in 4 years ago by this company. I truly believed they stole my cash and put a new shell on my old unit because I had the same issue as before after. with no way to prove so. Plus the customer service person is rude

From start to finish, this team was amazing. Nick came out to do the estimate. He advised me of what needed to be done, and stayed in touch with me the entire time. He came out Friday for the estimate, and called me back Monday to check up, and told me he'd follow up with me on Tuesday, which he did. I told him my work schedule was weird, and I'd prefer something a little later in the afternoon.

He called me the following morning (Wednesday), and told me he had a crew that could do the work that afternoon. I agreed. The team showed up right when they said that they would. They installed the new water heater, explained everything to me as they were doing it, and made sure to respect my house and belongings. The plumber, Mike J. that came out was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Thank you Nick and Mike, for all that you did for me, and for being so kind, understanding and professional simultaneously.

EDIT to my original 1 star review: I originally left this review after being without AC in 80 degree weather and having a terrible time trying to get Jarboe's to contact me regarding my warranty. After escalating my issue to the area service manager, I waited for Tina to contact me and once she did, she did everything she could to prioritize me after realizing there was a big misunderstanding regarding my warranty.

After speaking with her, Jarboe's was ready to come back with the part within 24 hours. I appreciate her professionalism and I would recommend Jarboe's to anyone needing heating, plumbing or AC service. My only advice to you is to make sure you READ your service summary, your warranty documents and understanding your rights as a consumer. Jarboe's is servicing a large community so it is YOUR duty to understand what you have purchased and your coverage summary. As long as you know that, Jarboe's WILL take care of you. Thank you, Tina.

I was so pleased with the professionalism of the specialist that came out. He knew his stuff, he was thorough and courteous. Communication was also good on all ends. Five star service but giving four stars since they did not contact me that the plumber would be late rather I had to reach out to them numerous times to get an update. Plumber was easy to work with, nice, and talked through everything plainly and easily. He also recommended getting a new dishwasher rather trying fix it since cost may be about the same. Recommended a local company and why to buy from which I appreciated.

Contact was made before the window scheduled. Arrived by the time the Technician promised. Worked quickly, courteously and very professionally. Knowledgeable and and confidently answered my questions. A profile was sent in advance of his arrival, so I knew who was coming to my house. Work was completed within the window promised for his arrival. Fee was up front and stayed the same price. Great value and warranty on the work for 1 year. Most definitely will use this company again. Most impressed and satisfied with the work.

I called many plumbing companies, needing a job done on short notice. Jarboe's was the only company that was able and willing to get a technician out the next morning and get the job done quickly. Brandon was very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. What's better is that it was all done for a very reasonable price, and I am very satisfied. My Technician, Nick, came out to help replace a toilet shut off valve and was quick, thorough, and overall did a great job. While he was here he gave me a quote on some other work we were looking to have done but made sure the original issue was taken care of in full before moving on. I would recommend Jarboes for your plumbing needs. I called and they were able to get me on the schedule for the same day, for a small emergency fee. 10/10 would use them again.

Jarboes Plumbing cleared a blocked drain/sewer pipe on New Years Eve 2021. Service person was knowledgeable and professional and did his work efficiently at a very reasonable price. My old home required extra effort in clearing the cast iron sewer pipe. Will have Jarboes Plumbing do any future plumbing work needed around here. Service: Unclog drain

I called Jarboe's on Sunday needing someone to inspect our sump pump and a tech was out Tuesday(it wasn't an emergency so I chose the date), found the pump was old and burned out, they schedule and performed a replacement today(Thursday) and it took them a little over an hour. They explained the new system, what to look for and listen for, as well as helped me with deciphering a good annual service plan to keep my basement dry.

They didn't push the plan and even offered self maintenance options, but in the end I decided to leave it up to the experts. Couldn't be happier with my choice to use Jarboe's! They'll remain on my list for plumbing and hvac needs for sure!

Nick replaced our shower trap, he was friendly, professional and did great work. We will call Jarboe's from now on for anything plumbing related. Upfront with costs and took the time to explain everything as it was repaired. Even capped a gas line for us while he was here.

They were great from start to finish. The lady that answered the phone and made the appointment was great and all the crews that came out were awesome. Everyone explained everything and were very neat. Cleaned up everything. My youngest daughter actually wanted to make cookies for them because she said they were so nice but they got finished a day early so she didn't get the chance. I will highly recommend them to everyone!

The technician called to let me know he was on the way, arrived promptly and was extremely upbeat and professional! He keep me informed on the issue and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. He cleaned the area he worked and made sure he hadn't left shoe prints on the tile floors (rainy day). I feel like this technician went above and beyond on this service call. Dealing with this company has been an overall bad experience. We purchased two furnaces and one air conditioner within the last two years. We were promised professional and expert services (technical and customer). It took eight visits to complete the installation of these units. Shortly thereafter, we found a water stain on our ceiling (unit in attic) that was caused by incorrect installation of the unit.

It was fixed but resulted in two additional visits. Recently, we had another visit to fix a problem that should never have occurred as a result of poor installation. We were charged for that visit and have not yet received a credit - something we have to chase. We called at least five times over the course of three weeks before even receiving a return call. Also have had other problems with the performance of one of the units. This entire saga has been exhausting and time consuming.

I will NEVER call them again, I had them come to take a look at a leaking faucet, they said they cannot repair it as they didn't have a O-ring and had to replace the faucet said it will be $831.00 for single piece replacement. Really! The technician came for 5 minutes, and took $94 for the service call

Our 16 year old furnace required a lot of repairs, so we opted for a new furnace. Every item was explained in detail to help make our decision. Techs are very knowledgeable and courteous. The salesman was not pushy and offered us numerous choices and prices. We have been using Jarboe's for routine maintenance for decades. Honest and very friendly efficient service.

I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done or replacement. We also figured the hot water heater was doomed, so we replaced it too. The crew arrived on time and was in and out in less that four hours. They left our basement and rear entry immaculate!

Bait and Switch! Don't be fooled. I received a coupon in the mail for a furnace tune-up. After much effort, I was finally able to speak with someone about scheduling an appointment. When I mentioned the coupon, I was informed that because I had used them before, the coupon was not valid! Instead of $53.00 the service would cost double that amount! Stay away for this company.

I will never call them again. Called them for emergency service about a sump pump. The plumber was very rude on the phone, told me he wouldn't be able to come out for another day, and quoted me over $1000. I was able to call another plumber, get them in within an hour, and paid less than $500. Do your research and call around. And above all, don't use Jarboe's.

We were very disappointed in the service we received. Our tub was leaking from the drain and the information my husband received is that the estimate was free. My husband had already cut away the ceiling and structure to allow full access to the bottom of the tub. The tech arrived, checked the tub, went to the basement and checked the drain side. Went to his truck and returned a few minutes later with an quote of over $700 to replace a drain!

When my husband questioned the quote, the tech back peddled with, well it could be $350, but I have to account for issues I might run into. My husband expressed we could practically replace the tub for $700. The tech kept giving him the run around and finally my husband said I am not going to pay even $350 to replace a drain. The tech presented my husband with a $94 bill for his 15 minutes on site, so much for a free estimate - truck charge or not that seemed high for the amount of time on site.

My husband researched on YouTube and ending up making the repair in about 40 minutes, and with the special drain removal tool, it costs about $50 in parts. After multiple unanswered calls to the manager, my husband went to the office to speak to him in person and he did not feel that manager handled the situation well and he defended the grossly over estimated quote.

What were the chances that if it did actually cost less that they would have charged less. And what if this was an elderly person on much more limited budget that they took advantage of. I work for a reputable service business in the area, and we have parameters in place to prevent our techs from padding jobs, and we were very disappointed that this manager did not take the matter seriously.

Great price! Great service! I had my Ac and furnace replaced! The arrived early and stayed all day! They didn't even leave for lunch! (Guys, you need a lunch! I would have made them something if I would have realized how hard they worked!) they also sent me an amazing goodie box after the work had been completed! So happy I chose this company! The jingle on the radio worked!

I recently called Jarboe's out for 3 apartments to repair a furnace. They condemned my furnace and said there was holes in the heat exchanger. They quoted an enormously outrageous price on replacing the furnace. They said they would not charge me a service run if I agreed to their replacement prices. I called another reputable repair man for estimates and they replaced the furnace for 1/3rd of the price quoted.

I was very pleased with the furnace installed and the work performed. As far as Jarboe's, they soaked me for the service charge and I didn't get anything from them. By the way, I tore into the old furnace and there were no holes in the heat exchanger at all. This was there way of installing new instead of repairing old furnaces. I won't call them anymore.

I would actually give ZERO stars. We called at 7:45AM this morning and were told they would send a tech and that they would call us when they were 30 minutes away. After hearing nothing by 3:00, I called back and was told that we were next in line. At 6:00pm I called back and got their answering service and was told that they would have someone call us. 6:40pm we received a call from someone at their shop telling us that they only have one tech working. WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD INFORMATION TO HAVE UPON THE INITIAL CALL.

So I have wasted an entire day and will NEVER call Jarboes again. They installed both units we have in our house and it has been a complete and total disappointment. They come for routine maintenance calls and inevitably one week after them leaving we have issues. WILL BE USING BRYANT OR PRUDENTIAL GOING FORWARD. Jarboes sells inferior products and lacks any form of customer service.

I will give credit where credit is due. I now have a 1 year service contract which I had to buy to avoid the service call, the free service call coupon is worthless. In the end a 10 minute repair that I diagnosed and cut the access in the wall for which i found out after could have fixed for $40 by going to Lowes cost me $478.00. Jarboes did show up promptly and fixed it but it cost me. Knowledge is priceless.

USE ANYONE ELSE! RUN AWAY FROM JARBOE! Issue is worse after they came out and did a $3400 job. My basement has flooded 3 times since they "fixed" my plumbing. They never finished the job they started in June, but sure did cash the check the day they started the work. They keep sending the same dumb ass out to work on the same issue, and it's just getting worse every time he touched it. Jarboe's cut my electric fence line then never paid to repair it. I keep calling and being told a supervisor will call me back, but I never calls back. The worst business I've ever used! Save your money and hire anyone else

I recently had Jarboes out to perform the annual furnace tune up on a house I just purchased. Pros: -The journeyman technician was very professional and wore boot protectors while in the house -I asked if I could lean over his shoulder and learn about my furnace and he was quite helpful in teaching me. -He knew what he was doing Cons: -The previous home owners had pets and did not do the proper maintenance on the furnace.

As a result, there were chunks of pet hair in the ductwork. This was cleaned out but left on the basement floor -He did not plug the condensate pump back in and as a result, the furnace did not kick back on. I had to go down and troubleshoot. -Biggest one for me: In my opinion, any company tries to hook you with the coupon in the paper for the low cost tune-up and then try to sell you on extra items.

One of the items was the cleaning of the condensate pump for $32. I can buy a brand new (identical) pump on Amazon for $39 with free shipping. It would have been nice to at least ask my mechanical knowledge (I'm a mechanical engineer btw) and see if I am able to disconnect 1 hose clamp and 1 PVC fitting and just change out an aging pump. Overall, my furnace is running better, but I would expect more.

Absolutely horrible! I had them come out to unclog my drain. They came late and then worked as if they planned on being here all night for what should have been a 15 minute job. He couldn't seem to get it unclogged for some reason, and then told me that he was approaching his second hour here and I would be charged extra. When I informed him that I was not paying for two hours for a 15 minute job, he miraculously unclogged it in about two minutes.

He then gathered his tools while dropping the F-bomb several times, trampled through our landscape crushing our newly planted flowers and wrote up the invoice while telling me how he had just recently beat up a motorist in a road-rage incident. They were suppose to come back and run a camera through our drain, which I paid for. They have not been back to finish the job which they were paid to do.

A very unprofessional company! I have a different company coming today to finish what I paid Jarboe's to do last month. I am in the service industry, and would NEVER allow this to happen to any of my customers!

Had great service from Pete/Jarboe's last week. Very professional and got my AC system back up and running, in minimal time at a very reasonable cost. And, on a Saturday. Jarboe's is now my go-to company for AC servicing. Thanks!

Jarboe's was purchased by True Energy/Smart Air. They were unable to give me a quote to replace a water heater over the phone so I had to schedule an appointment. When the technician came out his quote was nearly double the other 4 quotes I received from HD, Lowes, and two local plumbing companies. He said that due to the premium price he would not charge for the pan and expansion tank, which he was supposed to charge $200 for. Please!

The expansion tank cost was $75 from other companies to install if it even needed be replaced at all and his "premium" price was covering that? Who is he trying to fool, he wasn't giving anything away other than trying to take advantage of the situation. He was also trying to push, for an additional $90, to come out yearly to look at all my faucets and drains to make sure they are working properly. What a rip off!
