Services
The right HVAC service partner is essential to your business. American Air Conditioning employs highly trained service technicians to design, plan, install and maintain all types of commercial piping and HVAC systems. As a general contractor we have a full range of HVAC and commercial piping experience.
The best way to keep your HVAC systems performing optimally for the life of the equipment is to have ongoing preventative maintenance and to replace outdated systems or components before they fail. Regular maintenance ensures optimal operation while extending system life. As a union outfit our technicians are incredibly well trained and are committed to their trade.
A full sheet metal shop, we design and construct a variety of shapes for our HVAC clients, as well as providing fabrication services for other companies. Lower cost because we fabricate sheet metal products ourselves, so there is no added cost to a third party provider. Higher quality - we can control quality because we manage our own manufacturing instead of outsourcing to a sheet metal fabricator. We have been fabricating sheet metal for more than 20 years; we know how to make the best product for a long service life.

I reached out to this company a few months ago for HVAC services at a commercial property. There was an error in communication and I received a bill for services even though the technician could not get access to the unit. I called today to inquire about the statement. The company representative spoke to the business owner about the situation and they voided the charges.
As a small business owner myself, I really appreciate the way things were handled. Very kind and professional. I cannot comment on their services, but judging by the manner in which the business owner handled this, I can say they are a company that stands by doing what is right.

American Air Conditioning in San Leandro may claim to be in the air conditioning, plumbing, and heating industry but I must say that they are experts in pulling Christmas miracles as well! I was in charge of Overseeing a large holiday/cultural program at San Leandro's historic house museum, the Casa Peralta (located at 384 West Estudillo Ave in the Old Historic San Leandro neighborhood).
My trusty troop of volunteers and I had to decorate the house (built circa 1874, remodeled in 1901) earlier this month. We were ready to deck the halls but unfortunately learned that the ancient furnace in the basement went kaput. Right before our event! We were going to either cancel the event or forge on anyway holding an event open to the public inside a freezing cold house.
The second floor felt like a meat locker! We went on anyway expecting to close off parts of the house and seriously depend on teeny space heaters and body heat. But that was not the case as Gary Ward, Mike Martin, and Perry Tan from American Air Conditioning came to save the holiday, so to speak. Seriously, they came in and replaced the furnace in just a matter of a few days.
Which is remarkable considering the age of the house and the work that they needed to fit the more modern heating source into the basement. I cannot express my gratitude enough for their prompt and diligent work as well as their kind and courteous demeanors. What a relief to know such workmanship and customer service still exists out there. The holiday event on Saturday (two days from now) will be warm, toasty, and inviting now thanks to their work.
