To check for leaks behind walls our plumbers use an electronic leak detector. It is sensitive to sound that comes from pipe systems. Even a small leak can cause cracks in the slab and damage. With the current technology and understanding of how they work and the knowledge of what is happening out of sight, a leak can be detected long before the homeowner is aware and avoiding costly plumbing repairs in their home.

Mark Haugen of Haugen Plumbing Inc was terrific on a job he did for us last month. He replaced all our shower / tub fixtures in numerous bathrooms which included working with ceramic valves, customized hardware and tiles. He replaced a sink, and performed other more standard plumbing repairs. He was on time, efficient, personable, reasonably priced and has great connections with suppliers. Mark was very knowledgeable & professional. He went above and beyond in identifying what needed to be repaired & was forthright about things that could wait. Mark spent a solid chunk of time after completing the work to show me what he had repaired, explain the various settings I needed to be aware of, and point out things to keep an eye on to make sure no future issues arise. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber!

Mark was assigned to us through our home warranty company, and we couldn't be more pleased with his professionality and service. He scheduled an appointment, came when he said he would with a reminder call in advance. He was quick to find the problem and a great communicator, letting us know our options. Highly recommend!

We were blown away by Mark's customer service and professionalism. He made the repair using the part we had. Everything worked fine. We paid him. Job successfully completed. When he returned to his shop, he discovered he happened to have a higher quality part than the one we had purchased. He came back and swapped them out free of charge. Wow! Highly recommended. Would hire him again.

In a silly move, I tried turning off the water to my house using a gate valve in the garage instead of using the shut-off at the street. That gate valve has probably never been operated since it was installed, and as such, the valve stem snapped when I shut the valve, leading to there being no water to my house. Mark came out very quickly and diagnosed the valve.
There's so much corrosion around the valve that it will require a new line to be run. As I'm a renter, I can't make that decision, but he did come fix the valve so that I have water to the house. I have recommended him to the homeowners for the big repair as well. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He appreciates his customers and treats them like neighbors. Thank you so much!

We had a great experience with Haugen Plumbing. After being assigned a different plumbing company through our home warranty, the other company disappeared, leaving us with a leaky water heater and potential damage to our home. Our warranty re-assigned us to Mark late on a Thursday afternoon. He called right away and was able to come out first thing the next morning to look at the water heater.
He was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, not to mention very friendly and personable. Not only did Mark interact seamlessly with the warranty company, but he also made the necessary adjustments to make our water heater as efficient as possible for our home. We will definitely be using Haugen Plumbing in the future for our home plumbing needs.

I have been using Haugen Plumbing since he first started in business. I'm not really sure what year that was, but it is well over 10 years for sure. Mark Haugen has been very reliable & professional each & every time I have called him. He never complains & goes out of his way to help me.
