Ahern-Gross Plumbing

Best customer service I've ever had. Standing workers willing to explain things to you show you what's wrong and what they are fixing.

My dad who is a disabled veteran needed some plumbing work done it was an emergency. He called ahern gross to have them do the job Mike told him that he didn't have anything available til next week and Mike said he would call next week when he had something available. I then found an available plumber Maxwell plumbing and they showed up got the job done. Ahern gross then called the next week to schedule to fix the problem my dad said he had it taken care of and did not need their services. Mike at ahern gross then responded I will be billing you for a service call.

There was never anything scheduled they were never at my dads house. My dad received the bill today I then called spoke with Mike as to why my dad had a bill he said they showed up for the scheduled appointment that was never scheduled I said that wasn't right he then proceeded to yell at me on the phone and I asked him to stop yelling at me. asked him again to stop yelling at me he then said I'll just write it off I said thank you that's the right thing to do he continues to yell at me and he then hung the phone up.

Emailed them about a leak in my basement and was never contacted.

Had gas installed for my dryer. The plumber showed up 30 minutes Late. He ended up being sick, and spent over and hour in my bathroom getting sick. They did come clean up the bathroom and installed it very nicely. Just a very uncomfortable experience. The job did get done appropriately.

Service was excellent and very easily made appointments on two separate occasions for the next day. Work was professional in the least and they were very willing to send a bill in the mail instead of paying them directly upfront or at servicing. Lastly they took pride in their work and were able to make more repairs than they had been given at first and still only charged us for the service they were given to initially repair and hourly rate!

After calling a "sewer and drain" contractor that said they couldn't fix the issue, I called Ahern. They set me up with an appointment the next day. After sending a camera through the sewer with no luck, he pushed several cutters through and cleared the pipe. Then sent the camera back through to show me and to look for any other issues. I was fully expecting to pay $3000-$5000 to repair/replace sewer pipe both under my slab and out in the yard but because someone actually cared enough to try, it cost me just a fraction of that and I have the peace of mind knowing that my plumbing is clear and ready for use.

Saturday, Nov. 3rd at 4pm we had no hot water, so I called Aherns because they installed it over 7 years ago. I knew we would probably buy a new one. My call was answered by a gentleman whose name I do not know but he said he would relay the message. It is now Nov. 9th, Friday, and I haven't heard from you. Needless to say we went with someone else who showed up that Monday. Maybe our work is too small for you to bother with. Just tell me. Otherwise, snooze and lose.

Great service when our water heater died at night. Called them first thing in the morning and they were there in a couple hours. Only thing to be aware of is they do NOT accept credit cards. Kinda crazy in this day, but whatever. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.

Fantastic service when our water heater went out. I called the 24 hr service line and was able to speak with the on call plumber. I decided to wait until the morning for any work to be done. We had a plumber at our home replacing the water heater by 9 am. Very professional service.
