I was employed at this company for several years. Did my job very well, and very safely. One day I made a mistake and was out the door. Having over 20 years of safe experience as a CDL driver, I can tell you they do not understand what it takes to be a professional driver. Long hours, poor dispatching, slip seating, and dirty equipment are what you can expect. I you like large corporations that are all about the "numbers" and have no regard for their employees this is the place for you.

Two years in a row we have had JF Ahern do our businesses fire extinguisher inspections. Both times we paid at the time of inspection and both times we were also billed for the services. Last year we had to go to the main buildings lobby twice to have the issue corrected. This was after leaving multiple messages (Over the course of two weeks) that were never returned from the lady in charge of these types of accounts.
They even tried to charge us for a long distance service even though we are only a couple blocks from their location. The ladies in the lobby were very helpful but otherwise it was a two month process to get this issue resolved and I am not looking forward to the process again now that it has happened for the second consecutive year in a row.
