The plumber and the guy who answered the phone were extremely unprofessional and rude. I received a call from Roach Plumbing this morning to confirm they were sending someone to my home to inspect a plumbing issue. As I was outdoors on the side of the house, I heard someone banging hard on my security gate and call out "Plumber". I walked around to where I heard the voice and it was a guy who acknowledged he was with Roach Plumbing.
I asked him if he was bang on my gate with the heavy duty adjustable wrench in his hand and he said that he did. I told him not to do that because it can damage the gate and that'd I'd let him in through the garage. In the time it took to go open the garage for him, he'd called his superior to tell him some version of what happened. Apparently, he didn't like being corrected about his behavior, because when I meet him in the driveway he said that I needed to find another plumber and they had a more important job to do elsewhere. Then, he left.
When I called Roach Plumbing to report the incident, the guy who answered the phone said he was aware, that he heard I was "giving him lip" (in reference to the conversation I had with the plumber), and that I needed to find a different plumbing company. I think all of this seems to be an unreasonable reaction to a homeowner's request that Roach Plumbing's personnel not do something that could damage the homeowner's property.
It makes me wonder if some other factors are play here. Perhaps, the demographics of where I live in Lakeside Acres played a part in why they felt they could be so blatantly disrespectful. Regardless, their behavior was unacceptable and I highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere.

I called them for a clogged/slow sink, during the COVID19 pandemic. The nice receptionist said they'd be here in 30 minutes. They were here in 20! The guys, Craig and Jordan, came in, assessed the situation, and got right to work. I was most impressed with the care that they took as to not get the mess all over the place, and laid down a tarp. Quickly, like St. Nicholas, they opened their tools and went to work.
After they thought that they had remedied the problem, they made sure to verify that it was all taken care of. Both of the men were extremely friendly, and very professional. I have found my plumber for life. Thank y'all for helping me out. PS. The total invoice was very reasonable and not high at all.

My mom has used Roach for over 5 years, and every time they come out to fix plumbing, she has to call again the next month. My son wanted to fix a leak so she didn't to add more money to her bill. He had to remove insulation that Roach installed, and found zip ties over electrical tape on the pipe. My son is not a plumber but he was able too repair what Roach plumbing only patched. January 2018 my mom had water leaking from her dishwasher so she calls Roach plumbing again, this time they come out only to tell her she needs a water pump on the dishwasher.
My mom wants the plumber to disconnect the dishwasher from the sink. But the plumber did not. He did nothing to help her but he did change her over $100.00 for coming to her house. There are many other companies, just call some one else.
