My family moved here 6 years ago and did not know anyone so choosing a Contractor that was familiar with our home was important. When i talked to our realtor she said they used Conklin Plumbing our of Osage City. Since that time we have used Conklin many times, I have called the owner over the weekend and he has always responded even being our of town.
His guys are professional and timely. This weekend I had a clogged toilet causing me to use my own hand auger to try and get the clog out i got is stuck in the waste line going out to my septic system. The owner told me who he recommended to pump the septic tank down so they could look at it. The guy came out on a Sunday in the afternoon and shorty after that here was Conklin's Plumbing who quickly discovered the problem but could not get the equipment necessary to make repairs until the next day, " Today" Monday. Brandon and Rob showed up with the equipment and within minutes had the sewer line dug up and repaired the sewer line going into the septic tank and removed the garden hose that i got stuck in the sewer line that i tried to use to get my auger out with, yes I took a bad day and made it ten times worse.
Thank you to Conklin Plumbing for taking care of its residents. We will continue to use these guys. For a company to respond like these guys do would cost much more, this company is family owned and the owner has always treated us like he cares. They have been our Landlords for 5 years and are now building our forever home. They have been very Professional and very upfront on all costs. They have an impeccable staff and all there employees treat everyone with professionalism and respect. They put a brand new HVAC system in, flooring in bathroom, fixed bedroom ceiling light. Re-routed new ducting to push more air upstairs. Also took out old front porch and put in a new deck front of house and the back of the house and installed dishwasher. Very friendly staff, they were on time and got the jobs done in timely manner! Highly recommend them!

Replaced sewer and water lines. Dug in the wrong place for the sewer so the yard ended up with two holes instead of one. Dug up water line and hit gas line. Didn't warn anyone in the house at the time. Fire department had to evacuate house. Overcharge from estimate on both occasions. Incompetent and overpriced. I would not recommend Conklin Plumbing.
