In 1886, Charles A. McAleer proudly started this family-owned-and-operated business, and passed the torch down to John E. and Betty McAleer. After several years of success, our business was passed down once more to present-day owner, Larry McAleer. Brian McAleer, after graduating from Villanova University, has joined the firm and represents the fourth generation.

These gentlemen are phenomenal. I had an outdoor faucet installed last year, and it started leaking when we turned it on a few weeks ago (despite me taking extra care to make sure it drained at the end of last season!). When I called, they were able to see exactly when it was installed and sent someone out in less than 10 minutes - and while the leak was caused by an initial installation error, they fixed it promptly today at no charge and took the care to explain to me why (the physics of it). THAT's how you do business, and why I continue to do business with them!

Roughly a month ago we found out our heating system would not work safely when we turn heat onWe got several quotes from local companies. McAleer plumbing and Heating was the only one that showed true concern and went above and beyond to find equipment to do the job. Supplies during this COVID pandemic are limited. They made sure to obtain the equipment and get it installed before the weather turns cold! All of the employees were courteous and professional. Thank you so very much for a job well done

Larry was really nice, professional and helpful. He sent workers to my home as soon as possible. His workers were very polite and professional and they worked quickly to be in and out. They didn't leave any messes behind either. They installed a new hot water tank in my home and removed the old one. I highly recommend them.

I woke up to no heat and called MaAleer's plumbing and heating, knowing I needed a new furnace installed. Although they were super busy, they came out within a couple hours of my phone call and starting the installation of my new furnace! The staff that were here were super friendly and informative and had a huge sense of urgency, having my new unit installed in less than 24 hours. I'm so thankful I decided to go with McAleers with how quick, efficient and professional they were! Definitely would recommend 11/10

Great service and very courteous! Our water main broke and we had a small stream running through the basement. Every other plumber we called couldn't help us for 10-14 days. McAleer's, despite being very busy with other overnight jobs, was there the next day at 9 a.m. to fix it. Our leak ended up being on the outside of the house as well which meant our sidewalk needed dug up.
They were able to organize all the permits and fit us in the very next business day. They did a very clean job. We were only without water for a couple days but Larry brought us over several 5 gallon containers of spring water and a nice pump to help get us through. They really went above and beyond. Thank you McAleer's!

Called Larry on a Wednesday. He was courteous and respectful. Gave a great price. His guys came on a Friday to install my new water heater while I was at work. My wife is usually standoffish about those things being done when I'm not around but she said the guys were great. No mess left 5 star company.

I called McAleer's on Friday afternoon about a leak in the bathroom and Larry said he would send out his best plumber within the hour to look at it. They scheduled the work for the following week. An access panel had to be cut in the wall to work on the pipes and install a new tub & shower faucet. They also put on a cover for the access panel. While they were here we asked them to install a sink faucet and a garbage disposal in the kitchen.
It was a pleasure having them work in our house, all the work that Jim and Brad did for us was done in a neat and timely fashion. We are very satisfied with their work and would recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy service and reasonable rates. Excellent job, thank you McAleer's.
