A flush is better than a full-house. I built my home from the ground up and Silk's team was with me each step of the way. This was a very personal project and the care that they provided meant the world to my family. My company moved to Connecticut and we had several options when it came to finding our plumbing contractor.

Charged me 20 minutes of travel time at full hourly rate during regular business hours to come from his office 4 miles away. When I called the office and asked them to explain their travel time policy, they failed to return two phone calls. If you are looking for someone to joyride around town and then charge you for it, then this is the guy for you.

A tech from Silk came out to change my kitchen faucet and install a simple single cartridge filter inside cabinet. Bryan and helper/trainee Vinnie were very nice and professional but having just moved and being sick I stayed in the other room. There seemed to be an awful lot of deliberating and talking over the parts which are as simple and basic as exist.
Next thing I know - 2 hours later - they're done and the bill is $350! I don't know how much of that was the trainee's training but I've had multiple contractors and 3 plumber friends of friends since tell me it should've been an hour max and actually less. So I feel raped but it's my fault for not asking ahead for hourly rate and if time is prorated over 1st hr. I should've waited until my head cleared from the moving coma I was in - I'm the idiot. Never again
