What an incredible place of high end quality sinks, kitchens, bathtubs and tons of things for the house! I came in here looking at bathtubs and there were so many amazing ones to choose from! Incredible place and excellent customer service to match their high end products.

Buyer Beware: I highly recommend purchasing your dish washer from Home Depot. Sneyder uses 3rd party delivery services who ripped off my house manager (who speaks little English). At the store they said installation would be $175, but the 3rd party charged $250 for the installation. Additionally, the installation expense is not on my original receipt for tax purposes.

My husband and I bought a new home and were referred to Snyder Diamond for appliances. The customer service is abhorrent, horrible, verging on abusive. We spent a significant amount of money there and the sales agent, Mars Ileto, was great at taking money. He is hands down the worst sales person I have ever worked with. My husband spoke to a manager about our horrible experience and the frustrations and challenges we were having with our sales agent, but nothing changed.

The issues related to delays on shipping were not our concern- that was out of his or our control. The issues were and are his rude and disrespectful attitude towards the customer. his complete disregard or care in follow through or follow up and refusal to provide the details and prices before charging my card. He demanded. more than once, that i sign a blank form allowing him to charge my card - no items listed, no prices. no explanations.

This agent also waits until 4:56pm to send emails (never calls ) and then dodges the phone. STAY AWAY FROM SNYDER DIAMOND if customer service, respect, timely responses, and communication are important to you

Hi There, Just updating what happened after their customer service rep called out to try to "help". SUPER nice guy. Very good at his job. Said they were really customer focused now. However, ultimately their offer/solution was to have me buy ANOTHER ice maker for $3100 which was $200 off their cost. All I wanted was for them to fix my ice maker. Totally reasonable.

To be clear, I have had problems with this ice maker for six years. I have paid $1500 in repairs. I complained about it the first day I bought it, begged them to help for a year, then gave up. Then they call me, say they are all about customer service now. But because the ice maker is older, they can't help. Even though there is a record of my complaints. Oh well. I had high hopes. And to be clear, I rarely if ever leave negative reviews. I believe in building business, not tearing down. But when they do something like this.

After putting the task off for months, I stopped at Snyder Diamond to replace the drain stop for my bathtub; a simple gasket had split. I thought it might take a long time to find the part (if it even existed); I feared the cost would be exorbitant. Thanks to the friendly efficiency of Toby John and the well-organized parts department, it took longer for the invoice to print than to find the part. Its price was reasonable. I was in and out in less than five minutes. Can't beat that!

I've had good experiences with Snyder Diamond until today. A week ago I went to the Santa Monica location to look at medicine cabinets. The salesperson didn't have anything that fit my specifications, so he volunteered to order one from Kohler. He thought it would take 2-3 weeks. I agreed to the transaction, paid by credit card, came home to learn that the Kohler was too big for my space.

The salesperson refused to refund my money because he'd "ordered it from the manufacturer." At no time in our interaction had he told me the medicine cabinet was final sale, and I can't imagine that a company like Kohler would not take a return from Snyder Diamond. (For the record, Home Depot carries the same medicine cabinet, fully refundable and $100+ less.) I will think hard before I go to Snyder Diamond again. UPDATE: I sent a customer service complaint to Snyder Diamond, and their response was that I can return the item if I pay a "restocking" fee. Again, my salesperson didn't mention this at the time of the order.

They state that all purchases at Snyder Diamond are non-refundable and subject to restocking fees. If I hadn't complained, I'd still be out the full amount. Buyer beware.

Terrible customer service. I purchased extremely expensive items that are defective, and for 2 years they told me they would replace them and never did. I've given up. I don't care to get into the details, I'll just say, there are a lot of places to purchase high end items, and I recommend you look elsewhere.

Today I went to Snyder Diamond upon the recommendation of a hardware store. I was told the plumbing part I was looking for can only be found if available in this store. I was helped by a gentleman who initially told me that they don't seem to have it however he was going to look for it at the back stock room. After few minutes he came back and miraculously found the part and gave it for free. I was pleasantly surprised, so happy and grateful to have been given a blessing when I needed it. He said just make sure to pay forward! Thank you so much!

Have purchased from Snyder Diamond for over 20 years: plumping fixtures, bathroom vanity, toilets, dishwashers, washer/dryers, despite the higher prices. Naturally went in to replace 6 year old dishwasher, also purchased from Snyder Diamond. The old dishwasher was an exchange due to counter height and US vs European sizes. So I measured the maximum height of the cutout space: 33 1/8" high and explained the past issue with the salesman. Chose an Asko model, paid for it including installation. Noticed height on manufacturer's website indicated the machine was 34 1/2" high. Contacted the salesman, Loren Castro, who assured me "we'll make it work". Was in a hurry to buy the machine before Thanksgiving and the holidays.

So when it arrived and would not fit under the countertop, I was very unhappy. Mr. Castro blamed the installers of being lazy. The installers lowered the machine such that the feet were removed and the metal bottom rested on the tile. Mr. Castro refused to believe it wouldn't fit; texted pictures to show the issue. Mr. Castro suggested removing the metal trim on the machine.

I refused, concerned the machine would be "defective" and I would not be able to return it. Mr. Castro changed his stance. Now he argued "all new machines are 'ADA Compliant'" and that the countertop was the problem. He told me I had to remove the floor tile (" ceramic). Gaining " wouldn't provide the space needed. So then he told me I had to cut into the marble countertop!

This dishwasher suddenly required me to alter my recently remodeled kitchen. Mr. Castro continued to blame ADA Compliance as the problem, telling me no smaller height machine was "available". I was desperate for a solution. Mr. Castro claimed the only shorter option is an apartment-sized machine at 24" wide, creating a gap on the sides. I considered this.

Maybe alter cabinets under the countertop and have the apartment machine with plate warmer? This thought was vetoed by Mr Castro: "you have to have a family sized dishwasher in your home". Why? It's my home. Mr. Castro then informed me I could not return the machine once it "was delivered". Again, why? I was looking to exchange the machine and by suggesting a plate warmer, wouldn't SD make more money? SD allowed an exchange 6 years ago.

I even said I understood their would be a restocking fee (despite this whole error really being on Mr. Castro's end). I was forced to accept the machine which sat unusable in my dining room over the holidays. All of the information provided by Mr. Castro was misleading, false and quite frankly rude. Mr. Castro not only lied, he insisted every step of the way it would fit, despite my concerns.

The size? He knew better and when it didn't work, I had to pay to make it work even though the proper machine size does exist. There are MANY dishwashers under 33 1/8" high AND 24" wide. Pictures of the one finally purchased without modifications to the kitchen are provided. All of this is unfortunate. This encounter ruined any trust I had in Snyder Diamond. I'm about to build out a larger masterbath, master bedroom and laundry room and now have to find a new source.

We thought we were in luck when Snyder Diamond ordered a hard to find shower valve cartridge for us, but after a week+ with no call back after several messages to check on ETA, we called to cancel our order, having found the part elsewhere in the meantime. It would have been so easy for them to say "oh, I see the part is back ordered", or "it should be here by X day", but they didn't even try. Look elsewhere!

The customer service at Snyder Diamond in Santa Monica has been Horrible. We paid over $1000 for a Bosch dishwasher back in April this year. It was promised to be delivered by June 6. We've called several times to find out how long it might be, been told they'd get right back to us and never been called back. My husband has physically gone in there twice and yesterday, NOVEMBER 13th, we finally we got an answer.

Maybe it will come in two months, maybe not. They should have been the ones to contact us, to explain and apologize, but they've been cowards. Of course, it's the pandemic that messed up the supply chain, not them, but they suck at customer service. They could at least have had the courtesy to give us a phone call. We have spent thousands of dollars there over the years and this is the treatment we've gotten from them.

Do not shop at this store if you care about service and a business that will stand behind its warranties. If you complain about their unscrupulous business practices on this Yelp site (as I did a while ago), they will come on here and claim they will address your concerns, but then they won't!? Shop and buy at a business with integrity, not at one like this, that treats its customers with disdain and disrespect.

I love Snyder Diamond and have been a customer for many years. When I purchased some parts for my vintage Phylrich faucets, I was helped by John Paul Jones on how to correct the problem and have maintained my gorgeous brass faucets and appliances throughout my life. More recently, I bought an Albertine Le Cornufe stove in almond. It's gorgeous and I am fulfilling a dream. My SD dedicated staff was Larry Ting whom I highly recommend was fantastic and responsive. Great appliances!

Wow - what a pleasure dealing with the staff. I needed help replacing a Kohler shower cartridge and was recommended the store by a plumber. I was immediately greeted by a lovely young woman upon entry and she walked me over to the service department. A really nice guy named Toby patiently looked at my photo, looked at the wrong part I had previously been told by a diagnostic plumber, confirmed the new part, as well as identified the top part of the replacement valve that he recommended replacing at the same time.

Their pricing for the cartridge parts I needed were the same as if I had purchased directly through Kohler. Knowing nothing about Snyder 'til my visit, I was so pleasantly surprised and just so impressed with the friendly customer service.

We came into the store and were helped by Lyz from another department. She was so pleasant showing us around the store. We were pointed in the right direction for some restroom fixtures we're interested in. It was a great experience, we love the store and will definitely be back soon to shop some more. It's unfortunate Ms. Lyz isn't in the sales department because she would be our go to person on our next visit! She's a true gem in your company.

Customer service lacks in many businesses today. I was reminded by a gentleman named Zain that great customer service alongside knowledge does exist. I have been workin on a remodel for my home and Zain made a very stressful task easy not only for me, but managed to help my contractor with important information he needed to do his job. I am very pleased with the level of respect and service I was given by Zain. His response time is amazing. I highly highly recommend asking for him to help you around. I will definitely be sharing his name with my friends.

I would like to give Andreas Bordokas the greatest recommendations possible. From a 1-10 he is a 20. He is very professional, extremely knowledgeable and is always going out of his way to help and find a solution. I am a fairly big customer of Snyder Diamond and in my 15 years working on different projects with different departments with many different sales representatives, Andreas is far superior than any of the past and present sales representatives I have had the pleasure to work with.

It makes my job so pleasant and so easy when Andreas work on my project. He is such a great asset to Snyder Diamond and I wanted to take the time to recognize his great work an ethics.
