NW Mechanical is our go to place forever. We've used them before and they are very professional, knowledgeable, reliable and reasonable in their pricing. Aaron was our boiler expert. He was amazing he installed and fixed our problem and even instructed me on how to adjust the flow on some of our old radiators. I would highly recommend!

We had the fine folks at Northwest Mechanical install a combi boiler at our home and couldn't be happier with the whole process and the setup we now have. We spoke with several vendors and the team at NW Mechanical was quick to understand our home's requirements, our current HVAC + water setup, and nuances around the installation space. *We have a (new to me) boiler whole house system and have been using NW Mechanical now for 2 years, they are without a doubt experts at taking care of our heating system. I signed up for the yearly maintenance program for peace of mind and we have them out once a year to proactively maintain and test things. Running tip top and their techs are SUPER knowledgeable. We ha a heat exchanger installed on 7/10/17 it worked fro 2 years. Then only cold air came out of our heaters. Then on 6/11/18 and 6/22/21 we had the same maintenance technician come out. The issue was not resolved and cold air remained to come out of the air vents. 6 months after the maintenance the heat exchanger stopped working completely. Because the schedule was full they couldn't send anyone out for 8 days.

Therefore we were without heat for 8 days. They sent a maintenance technician out named Chris who resolved all of our issue that we were having. Not only that he went above and beyond and replaced the batteries in the thermostat. He was very personable and we really enjoyed his company. We recommend Northwest Mechanical but we will always be requesting Chris!

Cole came out today and fixed a pinhole leak in the supply line to my in-floor radiant heating. I just opened the garage for him, he swapped out the leaking joint while I worked upstairs, showed me what he did, and then he was on his way. The trip charge covered the repair. He couldn't have made the process any easier. The only downside was having to wait a couple weeks for their availability to open up.

I pay a lot of money to be on a maintenance plan so they come on on a regular basis to check the heating system, and supposedly they prioritize your service needs if you do need urgent service. First of all, clearly their maintenance isn't that great because my radiant heat is not working. Secondly, "priority service" doesn't exist -- they won't be able to service my un-heated home until mid-November. Will be looking for another service provider in the future. Very disappointed in their service.

Chris came to inspect our 30 year old boiler and thermostats. We had been having a heat fluctuating issue. He was very informative and showed me the batteries that are in the thermostat that I had no idea were there. Of course they were dead after 30 years but they kept the connection between the thermostat and the boiler and were calling for heat even after the desired temperature was reached.

New batteries and we are back in business. We will have Chris come in a month and do a full boiler inspection and update. We were impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. Pricing was reasonable also.

Even though we were not able to do business to repair my boiler, Kathy was able to help me with tips and referrals. She later called back to see if I still needed assistance and if I was able to resolve my problem. She gave that personal touch that every customer should get from every business. Thanks, Kathy!

NWM are the pros you should hire in the first place. They communicate, keep their promises and know their stuff. Don't waste time on lesser alternatives.

Sometimes, you get what you pay for. Although Northwest Mechanical costs a little more than some others, their pricing is fair. What's more important is that they know what they're doing, do quality work, very responsive, and we can get a diagnostic and repair appointment fairly quickly. Also, unlike many other plumbers or tradesmen, they show up on-time. Their work is professional and they stand behind their work. I would recommend Northwest Mechanical to my friends and family.

Just had a heat pump installed, replacing our gas furnace in a very old home. They were great from start to finish. Informative estimate, including what options were available and which they would recommend, and the work happened right on the schedule they set up. The installer, Brendan, was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job adapting our old forced air system to the new heat pump. Kept the place clean, and kept us informed. They also represent Mitsubishi heat pumps, which are very quiet inside and outside. We're happy, and recommend these folks for this type of work.

NW Mechanical is an outstanding company that has serviced my heating needs for a number of years and recently upgraded my oil burning furnace. They also fixed/repaired my pipes when our remodel guys messed up the install. Ally in Dispatch/Scheduling is great to work with and Steve Miller and his team are outstanding. Steve recently completed our annual service and was arrived with mask, gloves and made sure we maintained our social distancing. He represents himself and his company with professionalism and fantastic customer service.

I had purchased this new home and the previous owners gave excellent reviews for Northwest Mechanical, so of course I reached out to them for my regular maintenance. Kyle was super helpful, as he walked me through the boiler system and he even had much of the history associated with this installation having done regularly scheduled maintenance in the past.

I was reassuring to have that level of history and knowledge of the unit. Kyle even installed a new thermostat up in the kitchen which I hadn't noticed had stopped working. Overall, this has been an excellent investment in our home, which is heated by radiant heating throughout. I'm on their maintenance schedule, which offers discounts if you're in it for the long run. which we are! -Darryl

I have a 13-year old Triangle Tube radiant floor heating system and a 2-year old Mitsubishi ducted mini-split system installed by NW Mechanical. NW Mechanical has provided the last two maintenance service on the radiant system while this was the first on the mini-split system. Like my earlier experiences with NW, this second experience was excellent. Steve arrived on time and practiced social distancing while wearing a mask.

We discussed one problem I was having which he solved immediately. He then proceeded to work through both systems for a detailed inspection and service. Any issues were discuss in great detail and all my questions were answered thoroughly. He was prepared with all the necessary parts where changeouts were needed. I expect to be a long-term customer and highly recommend NW Mechanical for new or replacement installations and maintenance.

Great service, found a small leak in my baseboard hydronic heater and needed a yearly boiler service. They had someone out the next day. He was extremely efficient, had the system drained and the pipe fixed in about 30 minutes. Then the service on the boiler was very thorough, cleaned it out, checked all the safety mechanisms, and made a few tune ups to make sure it was running well.

At the end of it all, he made a coupe suggestions of things that made need replacing or updating, but he was not trying to sell me on anything, he was very respectful, he just laid it out and said these couple thing should probably get done some time in the future and here is why they matter. He left me a detailed estimate, and said to call if we wanted any of the work done. Will definitely be calling these guys again, fantastic work, very clean and thorough.

This company needs more stars than 5. I am so impressed. I'm the HOA president of a mid-rise condo, and when our domestic hot water boiler started leaking we called these folks for help. They determined that a new boiler was urgently needed (ours was leaking and was in an emergent situation for replacement), and prepared a quote on the spot with their expert knowledge. Aaron, the primary technician I worked with throughout, explained to me the reason he recommended the brand he did, along with all implications related to the install.

He then moved heaven and earth to arrange the install immediately, which directly impacted his personal vacation plans and those of one of his colleagues that helped with the install. These guys went over and above in every way. Plus their communication was amazing -- their dispatcher kept me informed of their arrival in advance, Aaron texted me with updates, and their electronic payment/invoicing system was real-time and worked like a charm. In short, this company should get 10 stars, and I highly recommend them in every way. Thank you Northwest Mechanical!

I wish I could give Mark, a salesperson at NW Mechanical, ten stars. A hundred stars. ALL the stars! How does amazingly generous customer service like this exist in 2018? Apparently, it is alive and well at NW Mechanical. Why am I so grateful and thrilled? For no apparent reason, my radiant baseboard heating system suddenly conked out in my house during typical mid-December, 42ish degree, pouring cold rain Seattle weather.

In describing my current heating system and the problem to Mark, who was determining which boiler system would be the most efficient and effective for my needs, he learned enough about my current system to guide me through restoring heat to my house. What did it take? Flipping one switch. Oh, my gosh! If Mark had not been so knowledgeable, kind, and patient with my rambling descriptions, I would continue to be shivering in a cold house waiting for a service crew to arrive, diagnose the problem, flip the switch and hand me the bill.

In the long term, what was even more valuable from today's call was the information Mark provided on what NW Mechanical can install in current day boilers that work far more efficiently than my current funky (my term, not his) boiler set up. Thank you, Mark. Thank you, NW Mechanical. Thank you for your excellence in knowing your trade and for putting this customer's needs front and center. This is the rating for a business that ripped us off from the initial service call and wanted us to have us pay around $20,000 to install a new furnace which we don't need. We wanted to get a checkup on our furnace to ensure that it wasn't leaking gas (we live in an old house with the original furnace still intact.) Since PSE was apparently swamped and the company they referred us to was also swamped, we're by extension referred to NW Mechanical.

We paid them around $100 for a service call which ended up being worthless: everything related to the furnace was apparently broken and beyond repair. We live in an old house and this furnace is also old, but we called PSE and they came out and maintained our existing furnace for less than the cost of our service call to NW Mechanical. NW Mechanical fixed nothing and wasted our time. Withholding information and sticking us with about a $20,000 quote is just predatory and we won't stand for it.

This ended up just causing a ton of worry on our part because of the sticker shock of getting a new furnace. Glad we didn't need it, and shame on NW Mechanical for this undue stress. I am not sure what others' experience with this company is, but we did not receive information that helped us in any way with the maintenance of our furnace.

We recommend you exercise caution with this company because they may attempt to strongarm you into a ridiculous expense; PSE and other companies are alerted and ashamed of this behavior from NW Mechanical.

I highly recommend. I've used NW Mechanical for almost 10 years now on a quite complicated, and poorly installed, radiant heating system in my house. They also do maintenance and support work on a rental we own. Recently they helped me re-route radiator piping, install new radiators, and re-balance the ferrous and non-ferrous halves of my boiler system. They're technical, fast, competent, and they show up when they say they're going to.

Their bills aren't a surprise (meaning, they charge you what they say they're going to). If you have a technically complicated job, they'll help you sort it out.

Had them work on our house twice. Decomissioning some kitec and installing a water heater. They were on time and still apologized over the phone about being a couple minutes late, were very respectful, friendly and clean. They weren't the cheapest quote I got, but I'm so glad I chose them. Will do business again.

Had NWMechanical install a ductless AC and replace the hot water tank in my house. Was extremely impressed with the workmanship, professionalism, and work ethics. Estimates were on spot, they kept schedule, were respectful of my dwellings, kept the place as clean as possible, and even though they had to come in/ out of my house continuously, took their shoes off every time they came in (yes, I found that impressive! :)) Really couldn't ask for more, and have already scheduled additional projects for the house with them.

Mark took the time to give me awesome advice and detailed information on radiant floor heating. He actually educated me out of a sale for himself, because it's actually not the right product for our home, but he was candid and honest. He could have "sold" me because I knew nothing about this, but he didn't. Can't ask for much more than that! Thanks for the info Mark!

I have a three story townhouse with a complicated Hydronic heating system. They took the time to explain the system to me and I've been in great hands. The one time I called another company out, I had to bring in Northwest Mechanical to fix that company's mistake. These guys are so great I signed up for their annual service plan. Pros: On time, experts in this field, professional staff, they accept credit cards, they have an annual service program that can save you $$ Cons: they are pricey but worth it!

When does the air conditioner need work? One of the hottest days of the year - of course! We decided to pay for an emergency call and the technician, Aaron came out in 5 hours. He diagnosed it quickly, discussed fixes, installed a trap, tested it and accepted the check. You might find cheaper service somewhere but you may get what you pay for. This is the second time we've used them and it won't be the last.

From scheduling through repair and follow through I am so pleased with the service. When you have no heat you feel panicked and worried that you could be easily taken advantage of. We have a radiant heat system that we knew zero about. Aaron took the time to explain what needed to be done to get it working and how to operate and maintain it going forward. I am so very thankful I chose them, we will definitely be back for future service and repair needs.

Very professional. They mostly specialize in mechanical aspects of residential and commercial and might handle your plumbing needs if you are already an established client or they happen to be working on your property for another issue. They are swamped with clients because they are dependable for the job to be done correctly. So be patient and anticipate a 1-2 week wait for your appointment. Pricing is moderate.

I have a boiler system and full house radiant heated floors so i have to be extra careful who can work on my property. If the boiler water is cross contaminated with the drinking water it can be lethal so this is an area I don't try to skimp on pricing and go for quality of work and a company I can trust. They came out three times for one issue to make sure our home was back up and running. Thank you

I am impressed from this company! Such nice, neat and professional installations! All pipes perfectly level, spaced evenly, all nesesary components. They don't cut corners in any aspect.

We have been a customer of NW Mechanical for the last 12 years. Installed and maintained with a level of expertise and care that I am sure sets the standard for this indusry. They have never failed to give the highest level of service. From the person who answers the phone to the professional technicians who have kept our heating system in top shape we say thank you for being so great to work with.

The only company that didn't run away from my Solar/Boiler heating system issues. I swear my heating system is the most complicated system in the world, but NW Mechanical was up for the challenge. They were exactly on time and stayed as long as it took to complete the job correctly. I attempted to contact a few other highly rated local mechanics on Yelp, but after i emailed them a picture of my system, all i got back was NUTHIN.

Quote was fair, final bill was fair, and i was very pleased with the thorough nature of the tech. I will call NW Mechanical again when the time comes for my yearly boiler service.

Northwest Mechanical really stepped up and did right by me! Mr. Ryan Burgett contacted me to obtain more information about my complaint, after doing some investigation on his own. After I provided more information, he provided me with a refund on the service fee AND put a $50 coupon in the system for a discount on future work. Wow! I'm very impressed with how Northwest Mechanical "walks the talk" of striving for 100% customer satisfaction. Now I'll probably use that coupon with them toward a big, fat ductless AC unit just because they were way cool!

On August 28-29, 2014, NW Mechanical installed a Mitsubishi split-type air conditioner in my home. The installer Brendan did a great job. He was fast, courteous, careful and highly skilled. I am so pleased. The electrician they used --Cascade Electric ( Rick St. Vincent) was equally skilled and efficient. We been using NW Mechanical for over 10 years on the heating and mechanical parts of the home. They are terrific.
