Excellent company, excellent techs. As for the review about the tech not "wanting to install a dishwasher or do his job that day" - Home Depot contracts EHG to do their appliance plumbing and installations. EHG must follow the rules set in place by Home Depot. If a technician bypasses said rules, not only can it be a hazard, but EHG may not get paid, if they don't abide by HD's rules on those jobs. (note - this is only regarding when they do appliance installs for home depot) So the technician has no choice but to do the job a very specific way.
If he cannot, he will advise the customer what needs to be taken care of. Frank is an AMAZING technician! He gets the job done, knowledgeably, efficiently, and tests to make sure all work is sound. Very pleased.

Terrible company. Beware! I can't think of any way doing a worse job They definitely sent a tech who didn't want to work today - Frank I think? Disconnected our Dishwasher to install a new Dishwasher. Left without hooking up the old dishwasher back the way it was. I now have 2 dishwashers in my kitchen in pieces. 1) Showed up and said he didn't like Bosche - finding reasons not to work today 2) Then said he didn't know how to unhook it, had the wrong star screwdriver - I gave him mine and showed him how to connect it to his screwdriver 3) Said I had to call an electrician cause the dishwasher panel breaker wasn't labelled. - I found it for him 4) Said he couldn't hook it up cause the electric wire wasn't long enough - told him we can just drill a hold through side of cabinet between dishwasher and sink - problem solved 5) Realized he didn't have the electric junction box for the Bosche AFTER he disconnected everything.

He came unprepared 6) Said he wasn't allowed to work on the wiring without a box that he didn't have and not even allowed to hook the old one back in - then why did you disconnect it?
Every step of the way he was coming up with excuses on why he didn't want to work today that any contractor I ever used would easily overcome. I had to talk him into it every step of the way. Hey Bob - Surely hope you fire this technician! I'll bill you for my 4 hours of lost time today. You guys are the worst! They provided no solution. Have no one else to help.
Home Depot even said they'd relieve them of any liability to hook up the old dishwasher back the way it was. Horrible experience. Then his tech tried to blame me for losing a tool! I understand people have bad days but you don't undo my entire kitchen and leave it a mess. What's wrong with your company, Bob?

Very glad we were referred to Gochnanuer & Sons to come out to help us with some plumbing problems in our home. Mark, the service tech, was just amazing. He really took the time to explain what was going on and he found great solutions to the problems. I also appreciated how friendly, knowledgeable, and professional he was. I will definitely be requesting Mark in the future if we ever have more plumbing needs.

I bought a dishwasher from home depot. I was very leary to have thier 3rd party delivery/install team install another dishwasher as the last one they did wasn't hooked up correctly and I had water all over the floor and damaged ceiling tiles in the basement. When I saw the Gochnauer van pull up I took a sigh of relief. I was amazed at how quickly he had the old dishwasher out and the new one hooked up and running. I would definitely use them in the future for plumbing jobs.

We purchased a new dishwasher from Home Depot and they have a outsourced company come in to install it which was Gochnauer &Sons. Holden was the young man that came out and seen we needed pipes replaced under sink and was very good and efficient at replacing them and getting our dishwasher in! We are very pleased with the service we got and will be contacting them to do some other work we need around the house!

I used this company because they bought out the old company who installed my new furnace, oil tank and AC unit a little over a year ago. I had nothing but problems with the old company and their installation and a lingering oil smell in my house they couldn't really diagnose. Needless to say, I was not happy. The new company, Gochnauer, sent over a technician, JASON, who was wonderful and ended up figuring out what was wrong when no one else could. JASON was great.
He was professional and knowledgeable and worked incredibly hard to figure out what was wrong. I could tell he knew what he was doing. JASON took the time to show me exactly what was wrong and walk me through it in a way I could understand. It's hard to find someone who you can just tell is honest and cares about doing a good job. His work was great and he was a pleasure to talk to.
Very friendly and open. I enjoyed meeting him. The company, including the owner, was great in working with me to fix what turned out to be shoddy workmanship from the last company. They really took care of me. I would definitely use them again and JASON as my technician. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had multiple leaks and plumbing issues, Gochnauer men came and checked things out gave me an estimate on how much it would cost and then fixed everything. They had most of the parts on the truck, my house is very old so the man had to go and pick up a special size sump pump. Happy to know I no longer have any leaks. Thanks guys.

First time customer and highly recommend this company for quality work and integrity. I'll explain, my 86 year old aunt woke up this morning with no heat! Her previous company was bought out by Glochnauer&Sons so I called and explained her situation. They had a full schedule and said they would get to her today but it might be "after hours" which would be an additional charge $$$.
It wasn't 2 hours and I heard from their technician Jason who said he was on the way! I came back to meet him at her place and he had things up and running in short order. He fully explained the problem and took the time with my elderly aunt to assure her all was fixed and good to go. They could have pushed her back to later in the evening collected a higher rate but came out to help sooner than later and for that I get my highest regard and thanks! Jason and Glochnauer & Sons Company get a 5 star review for their service and integrity. We'll done

We suddenly had issues with our plumbing and, after trying unsuccessfully to fix it ourselves, we called EH Gochnauer & Sons, Inc. I spoke with Sammy on the phone to try and schedule an appointment. She was so kind and professional as she answered my questions! Jason arrived within 20 minutes! He was thorough in asking questions about the issue and explained, in a way that I could understand, what the issue was and how to fix it. Jason even took the time to explain to my typically shy child what he was doing and why.
The problem was quickly fixed! This was the first time that we have had an amazing experience from beginning to end.and we didn't feel like we were being ripped off. We have definitely found the company that we will be using for all of our household issues. Thank you so much for all of your help!

Had a troublesome AC system leak. A previous recharge lasted about a week. Gochnauer came, did a comprehensive evaluation of the whole system, came back multiple times since the leak was intermittent (it had stopped leaking on its own but finally leaked again), and they found the leak in an unusual location. Scheduled the repair, they came back and fixed it, and it's been running well since.
Top notch guys, professional, interested in fixing the problem, not selling high-priced equipment. Their estimates for system improvement and equipment replacement were very reasonable. Will contact them for replacement when the current equipment can't be repaired.

I have had only great experiences with them. They installed my furnace and come every 6 months for regular maintenance. Seemed greatly overpriced for services rendered, tied in new NG line and tied in WW line for sink and dishwasher (and water lines for sink) and water line to fridge, lines fun maybe 5-7 feet, charged about 3500 for that work, used as on a time crunch ( I see why they were available) won't use again. spent more time on break than working, with two man crew should have easily been completed in less than a day, but took two
