The low water pressure you feel is actually due to a low volume of water. As galvanized pipes age, the rust and corrosion cause the inside diameter of the pipe to close off, restricting the flow of water. At the same time the reduced volume of water in the system is not sufficient to supply multiple fixtures at one time.
Pacific Coast Copper Repipe also offers PEX repiping. All of our installers have been certified by Uponor to install the AquaPEX plumbing system. This flexible crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) tubing has been used for more than 40 years throughout Europe and Canada. In most all of the United States, the use of PEX tubing has been approved for 20 years.
