Sims Plumbing Co Inc

Got a quote from Ken and scheduled a time for him to show up. He never showed and we have been calling and leaving emails for days. Haven't heard a thing.

I called this plumber to get help with one of our offices. He answered the phone "what?!" and before I could get anything out he screamed in my ear and hung up on me. He was very unprofessional and rude and I will not be calling him again.

Called Sims to come and look at our drain for our washer. He tried to snake the drain. This did not work. He put a bunch of holes in my dry wall to find the pipes and find out why it was not draining. Which is fine if he would have been able to fix the problem. He told me it was the way the plumbing was done and he would be able to fix this problem and would come back the next day to fix it.

He never showed up. I called several times that day to find out if he was planning on coming back another day. He would not answer my phone calls or messages and never called me back. I should have turned him into the better business bureau for messing up my dry wall and never fixing anything. I don't think this guy wants to do actual plumbing work.

I think he only wants to snake drains because it is easy and gets $75 for 10 minutes of work. I would not recommend this guy at all. Do yourself a favor and call AMPM plumbing. I called them afterwards and they treated me right.

I sent a text to the phone number I found online in the evening to see if Sims could find the cause of a leaking bathroom in my townhouse. I was impressed because they texted back around 11:00pm that evening saying they could be out the next day. After spending about 30 minutes at the house the plumber called and said it wasn't a plumbing issue, but the tub had a hole and needed fixed.

I paid the $83 service fee and had someone come out and fix the tub only to still have a leak. I called Sims twice a day for a full week to please come out and finish what they started to get NO response; no phone call, no text, nothing. I gave them two weeks to respond and then called another plumber. I was very disappointed and would recommend Golden Rule out of Grimes. They were friendly, fast, and knowledgable. I was really hoping for a different result, but I'm glad to have found someone reliable I can call for future issues.

I would recommend Sims Plumbing because the owner is very friendly and can do more then just plumbing. He helped me with my furnace and thermostat. The service I received was excellent and pricing was reasonable.
