I requested an estimate be completed at my parents residence for refrigerated air. The employee who came out, was rude, judgmental and treated us as if we couldn't afford the job. He never sent me the estimate. And the estimate was completed about a month ago. Well I ended up going with TLC. This company lost business. Poor service. Would not recommend

Derick and Bill replaced my 18 year old water heater with a tankless water heater. Derick spent quite a bit of time researching to find the correct water heater that would work with our existing gas lines and house size. There was a lot refitting and new piping. They did an excellent job! They were very professional, polite and neat. There was an adjustment that had to be made after they left and Derick came back and fixed the problem and the water heater and recirculating feature work great. There pricing was very fair. I will use Academy for all my future plumbing needs.

These people were amazing. They replaced my 84 year old fathers refrigerated air system. They were kind, patient and very attentive. So many services and construction companies are so unreliable these days. It was refreshing to see a company that was right on with everything. Thank you for your professionalism and over the top customer service.

Came to give me a estimate to switch to refrigerated air after 30 minutes looking it over they called with a esimate.o wait, they told me they could not fit the unit in the current heater closet. The other three contractors didn't even flinch when seeing it. Move on to someone else.

Academy overcharges for their parts (gas valve-notice below at the other review)! Our heater is older but found another company (Simmons) with the same part that was reasonably priced. When I told the technician I would try to get the part on line, he put the 'old' part behind the panel unattached and hurried out the door. I ran and got him to take the part out behind the panel. Simmon's mentioned how unprofessional they were by just leaving it unattached.

He didn't have enough time to reattach it and test the gas valve to see if it REALLY was the problem. Academy said we'd need a transformer too. The other guy tested it and it was fine. Simmon's staff were courteous, explained the problem by showing and troubleshooting. The heater is working VERY WELL! My elderly mom has used Academy in the past.by looking at the bills they took advantage. They lost us as customers!

The professional who worked on our A/C was knowledgeable and helpful. He worked to order a part still under warranty to keep our out of pocket price down. In another home, the guy in charge of installing evaporative cooler was honest, fair, and followed up to make sure everything worked well. Also, assisted with rebate. Great company!

They serviced my heating system last winter and I was so impressed by their professionalism. Next I had a plumbing problem. They came to my aide and again I was impressed. I had no reservations calling them to install new ceiling fans. Another great job at a very reasonable price. Two thumbs up to this company. A special thanks today to Bill! Great job. First time for us to use Academy, and we highly recommend them. They were pleasant to deal with, and had our furnace running in no time. Phillip our tech. was very professional and knowledgeable. Their price was very reasonable and fair. We will use them again.

My wife and I have been customers of Academy for several years, and we have had them in our home for jobs ranging from starting up our swamp cooler to the installation of lighting fixtures. Every time we have interacted with members of the company, we have been treated in a very polite and professional manor, and I especially appreciate that they have consistency shown up on time for scheduled appointments.

This year, our swamp cooler was especially troublesome, and it seemed like any way that the system could fail it did. Academy worked with us every step of the way to make sure that we got the cooler operational, up to and including having a technician come to our house for an hour on a weekend day on a warranty repair job. I am very appreciate of the high level of responsiveness and service Academy provided during this time. We will absolutely be using Academy for our future electrical and plumbing needs, and look forward to having them work with us as we continue to update our home.

After paying $850 last week to have my AC fixed and having this company come back out because it wasn't fixed correctly the first time I was called a "cheap customer" for disputing an additional $875 bill. The person I was talking to claimed to be the owner and was the person who told me I was a cheap customer and refused to give me his name.

The "owner" told me if I wanted his name that I could drive down to get his name in person. This is not a company I would recommend. Please don't make the mistake I did and use this company.
