Attempted to reach them for an appointment via their website chat feature and the appointment setup feature. Two days later, haven't heard a peep via phone, text, or email, and the supposed appointment is tomorrow morning. A bummer since they had such good reviews, but also, I've now wasted two days that I could have been waiting for someone who is actually going to come fix the issue.

Adarius and Michael came out and helped with plumbing services. They were timely, helpful, knowledgeable and solution-oriented. They were cognizant of people being in the house during their work and also cared about keeping the interior and exterior clean. They fixed the problem super fast and even had video of what was going on. Thank y'all so much!

Had a water drainage issue. Evan and his colleague did a great job quickly identifying the cause and fixed the issue to ensure it was correctly configured going forward. The original drainage fixtures were improperly installed by the builder. I was very impressed with this team!

First time using Cody & Sons, but the service was thorough and top notch. Good knowledge and advice about my equipment (recently bought the home) and will talk you through what services you do or do not need. My tech made an excellent optional suggestion that could better protect my system based on an issue that had come up and how this could protect against a reoccurance. I will definitely be using Cody & Sons as my first choice from now on.

Cody and sons came out to fix my AC unit about a month ago, they had availability the next day which was nice because no other AC companies did at the time. They cleared my drainage pipe which was blocked using some type of nitrogen. The technician signed off that it was up and running and told me to call them if anything else happens and that he could fix it for free if it stopped working again within 30 days. 28 days later it stopped working again, i called to schedule an appt and there was no availability for 3 days and it did not seem they would be able to honor the 30 day warranty.

Therefore i called another company who could service the unit the next day. The other technician came out today and said it didn't look like it had been properly fixed the first time, he had to clear the drain again and he replaced my filter (which was another issue causing the AC to turn off). The service took longer, he replaced a part and it was somehow less expensive than Cody and Sons.

I was going to have A/C work at my home. The receptionist said that they would give me an estimate on the work with no service charge. I was charged $85. When I called to inquire about the charge, I got the runaround about the manager being in a meeting. For 6 hrs. Do not use this company. They are rip off artists. Glad I didn't pay for the A/C unit.

Hands down the best company they are fast friendly and reliable. They keep you posted from the moment you place work order to when they are in route and they send you texts and call you updating you and giving you the name and picture of tech who will be providing the service for you AC or plumbing issue. This way you know who to expect, they are so kind they just go above and beyond from customer service to the techs or service people they send to do job.

They really make you feel like you are their top priority and treat you as such. I have used this company serval times and they just keep getting better. They were faster then the home warranty and cheaper and more efficient. They are the best.

Pleasure to deal with but it feels very weird when they send out two people to give me a $1,600 quote to install a water filter. Another company happily did it for under $200. What could explain this difference or do they just not expect you to bother contacting someone else?

Buyer super beware. Ok, these guys are a rip-off, on the phone they said to diagnose a problem if not repaired it was $79, and that amount would go towards any repair. if no repair just the $79. They came and diagnosed 2 problems, they didn't fix either of them but wanted to charge $450! Also, they claimed they would come between 1-4 pm showed up at 6:30 pm. Filing complaint with BBB also, to help others avoid being taken. Also when tech left the house heard him mutter "fu___er", asked him to repeat that but just walked away-outrageous all around.

I called Cody and Sons to come out and take a look at my AC system that was not working. Jeff came out and knew exactly what the issue was right away. He quickly fixed the issue, educated me about my system and was just a great guy to shoot the breeze with while he worked. I have always used Cody and Sons for plumbing issues and knew they were top notch.

I only became aware that they also handled AC issues this week. After this experience, they will be the only ones I use from now on. Bravo Cody and Sons and Jeff for your professionalism and dedication. You guys are awesome!

Cody D. and the gentleman helping him (name of helper?) did an exceptional job repairing my shower. There had been an issue of not being able to turn hot water on. They arrived on time and at each part of review of the issue and repairs, they kept me updated. They showed me the valve in the wall that was jammed preventing hot water flow, removed the valve without damaging the shower and replaced it. The cost of repairs were reasonable and they finished the work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Cody D. and his unnamed helper

A 75-year-old house will teach you a lot about plumbing - and plumbers. We began working with Cody & Sons 20 years ago after an independent neighborhood plumber let us down. Cody & Sons plumbers have helped us with everything from small leaks to major repairs, and they have always been responsive, skilled, and extraordinarily professional. Aaron and Micah recently replaced a water heater for us.

It wasn't an easy project, but it was clear from the start that they knew what they were doing - and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. I guess the most important lesson our old house has taught us is that it pays to work with professionals. One thing I know for sure: When we need a plumber, we can always count on Cody & Sons.

Absolutely Amazing customer service. Family owned and family takes time to listen and help in anyway they can. They have taken such good care of my 90+ year old parents for years. My parents have always talked highly of them. My mother was hospitalized recently so my sister and I had to communicate with them. My parents weren't lying. They are my go to guys now for my HVAC and plumbing issues. Have used them on 2 occasions recently (my house hates me!) and their technicians were fast and friendly. Definitely keeping their number handy in case anything else starts acting up!

The only good thing about plumbing problems is getting to work with Cody & Sons. I've used them several times over the past 6 years. Last week, Evan and his co-worker repaired damage that occurred because I put corn husks down the garbage disposal which clogged my pipes and caused the contents of my garbage disposal to shoot out of the wall in the utility room. Evan and his co-worker got everything working again, and now I hope to have them relocate pipes in my utility room that were improperly installed before I bought the house. ASK FOR EVAN IF HE'S AVAILABLE! He was honest, thorough, polite, and a true professional.

We thought we needed a new furnace and chose Cody & Sons because of their rating on both Yelp and the BBB. The first pro that showed up was unfortunately a plumber who could be of no help however he was very pleasant to visit with and got the ball rolling right away to get a heating pro on the way. From arrival to finish, our furnace tech treated us with respect, honesty, sound advice and a big smile. We appreciated his friendly yet professional manner. We would highly recommend Cody & Sons.

Getting an estimate on an installation. They came to access situation. which they did. So far so good. Follow up. They gave reasonable bid. Scheduled the work. finished the work as promised. Guys were nice. Competent. No problems and will call them again for future plumbing needs.

I was impressed with the company from the first call through the installation. Everyone I spoke to on the phone and in person was polite and professional. The whole process took 2 days from the estimate and the work was done with ease and efficiency. Very friendly, professional, and came 1 and 1/2 hours early! Had to get dressed quick :-). The toilet was fixed in about one hour. Mother was advised that a general contractor would have to fix the under-floor shower leaks (and use another shower in the meantime, of course). I definitely recommend Cody and Sons. They also serviced the air conditioner last year.

These guys came out and inspected our hot water heater setup and gave us a quick quote on the upgrades we wanted. Great guys. Honest and knowledgeable. Very personable.

This is an unusual review because they have not started the project yet. However, my experience so far has been great. After getting several bids, it was not only their quote that won us over but the initial encounter with setting up appointment, the detailed information regarding our current plumbing layout and the replacement plan. They were not the lowest bid but they were the only ones who crawled under a pier and beam house. Also, they were not looking for payment until the job is done.

This is rare today. When you call you feel like you are speaking to friends. I'll post again when the job is done. Follow up post: Cameron, Jonathan and his team did a great job. They were professional and respectful. We were always kept informed of their arrival and of any delays due to inspections or the job size. They worked tirelessly until the job was done. Thank you Katie for keeping me informed of the times the Technicians would arrive. I actually had my furnace maintenance done with filters changed. In the other part of the house I had Matt doing some plumbing maintenance. Matt arrived with a mask on and shoe covers. He worked on replacing a sink faucet. He was very knowledgeable and completed the job in a timely manner. He cleaned up after he was done. Excellent service.

Tech/Franco very focused & thorough. Tested/measured all the electric parts, changed all filters, checked coolant pressure, washed compressor per a $99.00 special offer. I wanted an additional 3 inch pad raising compressor out of rain water. He explained & showed why this would be a disconnect with reconnect with new ultraviolet -proof foam cover for $860 with 1 yr parts & labor warranty. I approved and learned much about house humidity as he worked a half day job. This is my third contact & will do it again (plumbing & air).

Cameron and Cody were excellent. Cameron thoroughly explained the options for my gas fireplace issue. He even inquired about a previous job that Cody & Sons did for me to make sure everything was working appropriately. We've use them now doe 2 years for HVAC tune-ups. With temperatures approaching triple digits, we wanted to make sure our unit was in good working order. After the service our machine is more efficient and we feel the difference

I live in Plano, TX. When I finished taking shower at night, I noticed that the shower knob was broken, and could not shut the water! I was panicked and tried to find 24/7 plumbing service, but no one was available. and I finally found Cory & Sons Plumbing. I called and the operator was very kind and arranged dispatching their staff right away even it was after 7 pm.

Then even before the staff (sorry I don't know his name) arrived, he called me to text him the shower knob picture, and guided me how to shut the water on the phone! So the emergency issue was solved temporarily in an hour! Thank you, thank you! Then he arranged Selso to come over my place next day to fix the cracked shower knob completely. Selso was very polite and professional. He also fixed my additional issues sufficiently! I really appreciate Cory & Sons team to be available for my emergency! They are the BEST!

DOWN FROM FIVE STARS. I have loved doing business with Cody & Sons earlier this year and late last year. There were a whole lot of plumbing corrections needed when I moved into a new house which they did professionally, graciously and excellently. I would really prefer to stay with them, but they've told me their business has grown exponentially, and it looks they are having growing pains.

I called them in March for a blocked toilet in a 1-Bath house, and they said they couldn't come for a week, which was not workable. I had to call them back for the same problem this week, and was told they couldn't come for *over two weeks.* They promised to try to squeeze me in, but failed to call me back for two days running. The third day I was desperate, and I got lucky.

They happened to have a plumber near me, and he was able to come right away just before this weekend. They did leave without giving me an estimate for a second job that I'd requested, but I forgot to remind them, too. One staff person pitched me an annual service plan so I could get quicker service plus preventive maintenance and discounts, but I'm not going to pay 300.00 for that.

Especially not when they used to give me 5 star service without it. They also left without cleaning the toilet bowl, which was unprecedented for them. I so hate to sever a substantially great business relationship, but I think right now they may be in over their heads. I asked if it was because of the pandemic, and was told no, it's winterizing season plus they have grown so fast. Shouldn't stopped up toilets take precedence over winterizing for valued customers?

Price gouging! I've used this company in the past for plumbing work and believed they were honest and fair. So when my AC went out in August I gave them a call. The problem was pretty straight forward. The fan motor needed replacing. From the time of arrival, it probably took the technician less than two hours to diagnose and replace the unit.

The motor itself isn't costly, $250 if I were to buy it myself. Total cost. $1358! That's over 500 dollars an hour and they know they can charge it because time is a luxury I can't afford when my family is sweating it out in a hot house in the peak of summer. Desperation will make you agree to some terrible terms. It eats away at me that I allow myself to be taken advantage of by companies like this. Do yourself a favor and seek help elsewhere.

Unreliable. 48 Hours, no response. It's obvious on my Yelp that I am part of the LGBTQ population. I have to assume discrimination. Shame on them!

You know how it goes. You do a "small plumbing project" in your house and then as you dig in, you realize it's bigger than you can handle. I picked Cody & Sons because of their yelp reviews. It was important for me to pick a small local business to support. They were able to see me within 48 hours (other plumbers were out a week). I got email, text and phone confirmations.

I knew when they were on their way and they sent an email with a description and photo of my plumber, Juan. They showed up on the early side of their 2 hour window, which I really appreciated. They took all the necessary precautions for safety (masks, gloves, sanitizer, etc). Juan came with a partner (don't recall his name) but they were both polite, professional and knowledgeable.

I told them the situation, they knew what to do. They explained clearly what was going to be done and why things had broken down. The cost to me seemed really fair and they set to work. Ninety minutes later, they were done, everything was cleaned and our toilet was installed without a hitch. These guys were great and they offer a 2 year guarantee on the work. I will totally use them again for future work.

Needed AC drainage checked in a new house. I was able to get a quick appointment and the technician was courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. I found the service call price was extremely reasonable, and the quote for the repairs to be very fair.

They arrived on time, even calling ahead and making sure it was a good time for me. They thoroughly explained what they needed to do, and got my minor bathtub faucet leak fixed quickly and efficiently. I definitely recommend Cody & Sons.

Insanely overpriced. I was out of town when our heater stopped working. They charged my wife $335 for a replacement wall thermostat. The exact same model on amazon sells for $32 (plus $84 for installation). They wanted over $800 for a programmable one, which can be found on amazon for $51 (plus the same $84 for installation). They clearly took advantage of my wife's lack of knowledge. Never using this company ever again.

We needed an assessment with our plumbing before we bought our house and they were quick to come out. The guys that came out were very friendly and were honest. They explained everything thoroughly. We then moved in and had an AC issues so we called them for that. They were able to come out that day and explained everything that was going on before they started repairing. The technician named Michael was friendly and knew exactly what he was talking about. I will use them in the future and recommend them to anyone.

This was my first time using the company. Overall I had an exceptional experience. We had a service tech by the name of Andrew come out and he was on time and very professional. I love the fact that they send a picture of the technician that will be arriving to your home. He was very thorough and took his time explaining what needed to be done. I will definitely be using them again as my first pick for plumbing.

I had a kitchen sink that wouldn't drain on Friday. I called Cody & Sons but they were booked until Monday. In desperation I tried calling several other plumbers but fortunately received a call back from Cody & Sons that they could come by that evening. They did, & the job was bigger than I thought it would be but they did a great job, very thorough & the plumbers were very professional & friendly. We use Cody & Sons exclusively when possible & we highly recommend them to anyone.

Home owners be warned: At first I thought this would be a great company to come out and fix my a/c issues because they communicated well and provided a decent quote in comparison to other companies. They also have superb reviews here on yelp. Low and behold a month later it gets super cold and for some reason my heater is blowing cold air? Luckily in the past couple of months I was blessed to befriend a technician who offered to come out to my house and see what's going on.

As soon as he went into my attic he saw that whoever came out to work on my unit unplugged whatever cord you need to actually expend heated air (extremely simple fix). He also warned that regardless of good companies the technicians that come out thrive on more (commission) business and therefore issues like this happen. People work hard for their money and deserve decent honest pricing.

The mark up on HVAC equipment is already profitable so it's sad to see that consumers are paying the ultimate price just to live comfortably in cold/hot seasons. Hoping that my HONEST review helps others and I wish I could recommend another trustworthy company but I have yet to find one.

My entire interaction with Cody & Sons was excellent! One of my HVAC units went out as I was selling my house and the new owner was already in the location renting at the time. I contacted Cody & Sons for a quote and they responded almost immediately with an offer to come out and diagnose the problem on the same day. I had to reschedule for a couple days later, but Tony showed up when he said he would, troubleshooted the issue, and gave me options on repairing or replacing the unit.

He listened to my concerns and, as promised, e-mailed me two quotes first thing the following morning. The prices quoted for a new unit was way lower than a quote my tenant had gotten from another company (like 50% lower!) I opted for the new unit and within 2 days Tony and his team was able to come out and do the replacement. To note: the HVAC unit was on the 4th floor of my townhouse - they scheduled a crane to remove the unit over the balcony - and all of that with the new unit, crane, AND labor cost less than what another company quoted for just a new unit!

Plus you get a Yelp discount if you found them through Yelp (I did!) My tenant was there through the process and by the time I went down to the house to check on them later, the unit was up and running. The tenants seemed extremely happy with their work and the service. I know I was. Plus now they have a new unit with a 10 year warranty! I highly recommend Cody & Sons for your AC needs.
