The entire team at Neerings has been so great. We purchased our home recently and had the team come out for a check-up and ended up having to replace our a/c and water heater - and bc of utility room spacing, ended on replacing the furnace as well. Because of the major expense, we signed up for the annual membership plan and had an included electrical inspection as well.
Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The HVAC specialist, Chris, helped me to navigate our challenges and provided various service and cost options; he also offered every conceivable discount to make this less painful. He was wonderfully responsive throughout the process. Mike installed the furnace and was warm, also clearly knowledgeable. Randy did our water heater and softener installation and was a pro. Electricians Mark & Brynn were kind, communicative, quick and thorough.
It was as helpful and seamless experience as it could've been. While the expense is overwhelming, I feel really good about the quality of work and service. I will continue to be a customer of Neerings.

Our swamp cooler line broke and flooded causing a lot of damage. It is super hot out so anxious to get swamp cooler running again. Their technicians John and Mike? did a great job of recommending something so it would never cause damage again. The repairs were quick and their company was able to get us scheduled within 48 hours. It was extremely expensive and, as of this writing, I have not received my receipt.
They also forgot to turn the water to the swamp cooler back on so I ran my swamp cooler dry for two hours. I suppose that one is on me though because I should have checked. Otherwise very good experience.

John and Eric came out and repaired my swamp cooler today. They were on time and friendly. Very respectful of my home and time. They were thorough and did a great job! I have had nothing but trouble with my cooler since we moved in 7 years ago. We have had countless repairmen and electricians come look at it John and Eric were the only ones who actually took the time to do the job correctly. I highly recommend these guys. They actually care about the job they are doing.

Was lucky to get same day service. Matt was tremendous and very professional. Explained the options for my repair and did a terrific job in getting our issue fixed, and completed the job very efficiently! Can't say enough about the service, and most of all once again, having Matt do the work for us! Service: Faucet repair

We had a mini split AC system installed, and Jim explained how the process would work, set expectations, and was helpful in describing the different brand of units. Jimmy Bunch and Michael Jones did a great job installing the unit, talking us through how it worked, and getting it into the location we wanted. Very happy with the outcome, and very happy with how quickly the job was done! Thank you!

Keith came to help service my house and was professional, prompt, and experienced. Not only did he help solve my pipe blockage issue, but explained everything that was going on and possible solutions to help in the future. He also took a look at a different sink and was very kind to give me some tips as I will attempt to rebuild it myself. Great service!

This company is out to rip you off! I scheduled an assessment through Home Advisor on my evap coolers since I had just moved in to the home. You cannot get an actual appointment other than "next available" anyway. The company called me and told me that it would cost double what they were advertising. I told the person on the phone that - that isn't what was advertised - $49.00 to do an assessment.
Then two Neerings guys came to the house and told me they would charge me twice to do the assessment which is not what the advertisement on Home Advisors and the Neerings website posted. Even worse, this company tried to take advantage of me while I had a broken ankle - so they have a lot of work to do in gaining public trust! Look somewhere else for assistance with your evap coolers!

I was very impressed with my experience with Neerings. My technicians Keith and Jackson were prompt and professional. They were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. The drain was cleared and the pipes were reattached within 15 minutes. These two guys are best in class service technicians. I would recommend Neerings to my friends and will definitely use their services again.

We have had a lot of items completed by Neerings. And sad to say. They have really went downhill since before Covid. They just completed a service check. And each guyPlummer.electrician. Etc. wanted to upsell us on everything. They must be on a commission. Because it was nuts. Unlike the old days. Guys would do the job u asked and that was it. But this was really a turn off and makes u not want to have them back. So sad because they were a good business. But the UPSELL is out of line and will push customers away.

We needed same day service for a clogged kitchen sink. After 3 calls to various local and "anytime" plumbers, who all said they could come in a couple days, I dialed Neerings. They agreed to come out the same day, and were here in less than 2 hours with a 30-minute courtesy call. Keith and Jackson were great! Very professional and knowledgeable. After fixing the drain clog, Keith gave us some good tips on how to prevent future issues.
They even took the time to check out another pipe issue in the garage. We were very pleased with their prompt service and reasonable pricing. Neerings will definitely be our go-to for plumbing, heating, air or electric!

I reached out to this company to request service to a toilet on Friday. I was very specific that the toilet, due to the age of the house/plumbing would require service to auger it a couple of times a year. I fully understand that if there were to be a larger issue, the price could range, depending upon the issue. I requested a price and was told that the service started at $99.00, but could increase based on the severity of the issue.
This sounded reasonable because the company I have used in the past has only charged me $99 for the same work. I was unable to use that company due to their lack of availability for this week and proceeded to book Neerings. Upon arrival today, I was advised that the auger would cost $281, and that this is a set price for this work. If that is the case, why wouldn't the rep I spoke with quote that as a starting price?
I had no real choice but to proceed since this is the only toilet in the residence and I did not want it to reach the point of being unusable. I have no issue with the service provided by the technicians, they were very nice and professional. The work literally took a couple of minutes. Upon calling to voice my dissatisfaction, I spoke to Nick (the owner?).
He basically refused to acknowledge that my complaint was legitimate, and was rather condescending. There is a way to treat customers fairly. This is not it. Neerings has rung up $281 today, and $0 for any potential future work or references. If it were my business, it would hardly seem worth it.

It was a struggle to be sure. The sink.had died. I felt that I would never be able to brush my teeth like a normal human being again or wash my hands or my face. Things were beginning to get nasty. Then Keith and Erich arrived. They tackled the giant nasty sink clog like champions and had us flowing again in no time. They even had a second to spare to pet the puppies and talk to the cat. Thanks guys for getting me back to normal, or as close to as I can get. You're awesome.

HUGE THANK YOU to Keith and Kris for doing such an incredible job on our garbage disposal clog and bathroom sink clog. What I really loved is they didn't try to over sell us on what we needed. Our quote had come in quite high. After they got in there and assessed what was really going on they were able to fix the issue at about a 70% lower cost than originally quoted.
It's been about a month since they fixed our sinks and they are working perfectly. They were very honest and thorough. I would most definitely recommend them and this company. They definitely know their stuff and most importantly don't try to do work that is not needed just to get more money. I fully trust this company and these two guys and highly recommend them. Excellent repairs and awesome service! I will use them for all our maintenance issues that they cover. Thank you guys! So great worki g with you! Shaylyn Lewis

These are the biggest crooks in the state. I had then give me a bid on a simple plumbing project with$55 in parts their bid was over $2400. I was speechless and shocked. I let them know that was impossible and explained again what I wanted. They responded that they understood the project and that was an accurate price. I told them to leave immediately. Do yourself a big favor and get multiple bids. Don't let this Company rip you off!

This has to be the biggest rip-off attempt I've ever seen. Completely dishonest. DO NOT TRUST! I requested an estimate to install a 240 50 amp breaker and run wiring to an outlet in my garage. Wiring is through an open ceiling with easy access. Mark shows me an ESTIMATE on a pd that reflects an estimate of material and labor. He then measures the length of wire needed with my tape measure and determines he only needs 25 feet instead of the 50 feet he estimated.
This reflects 1/2 of the 50 feet of wire estimated. Neerings sent a second technician/student to help with the job. BOTH LEAVE the job site for one and a half hours from 1 pm to 2:30 pm. I let them out of the house and watched them drive away. I also let them back into my house at 2:30 ( Lunch Break I guess) My wife comes home at 4:30 pm and they have finished the job and left.
They were Only on the job for 1 to 2 hours. Cost of material less than $150 at HD 15 minutes away. Nic the salesman insists that they did not leave my house and called me a liar, but he would not confirm where they were between 1 pm and 2:30 pm. Below is the estimate. Please explain the cost of material, the 4.88 hours of labor and burden, and OPERATING EXPENSE.
Your Price $1,599.00 Run New 50 amp, 240v, Romex Circuit up to 50 ft Tesla charger Adjust breaker spacing in electrical panel to allow room for 2 pole 50 amp breaker to supply power to tesla charger. ran wire to circuit for. View More OUR COST: Material + Tax = $351.40 Labor + Burden ($119 x 4.88 hrs) = $971.78 Operating Expense (30% of total) = $479.70 Total: $1,802.88

Super, like alarmingly, expensive, and you don't get an experience that reflects the price. Plumbers fixed my problem easily enough, but they made a mess, and they didn't clean it up. They were asking me for buckets and cleaners, and even when I provided them, they left sewage all over the floor. They also upsold me on a new water heater, which after installed, gave me mild CO poisoning and set off my CO detectors. They did replace the water heater, but gave next to no reparations for the mess or experience. I wouldn't recommend this business to my worst enemy.

Have used this company twice, both times they find a way to upsell. The last time they came to chech on AC problem, the tech said needed a new system and charged $276. They wanted $7000 for a new system. I discovered the motor was bad, replaced it myself for around $100. My advice is to run like hell. Call a more reputable company.

Do yourself a favor and get a second bid! My first experience with Neerings occurred when my 80 something father's furnace quit working. His inducer motor had failed and Neerings charged him $850 to replace it. After I found out what had happened I priced the part at a local supply house and the whole assembly was $150. As I recall there are 5 screws and an electrical quick connect.
Most 12 year olds could have replaced it in half an hour. When I confronted the owner, Troy, he said that he had to charge that much to pay for his advertising! Next I spotted one of their trucks at a new neighbor's house. I called the neighbor and urged them to get a second bid. They were eternally grateful because they saved thousands by taking my advice.
More recently I purchased a home that had a two furnaces that had been installed by Neerings. The basement furnace was blowing red sand out of the ducts. In tracking down the problem I discovered an installation mistake that caused a vacuum which then sucked sand into the ductwork from a failing plenum box. Neerings responded promptly and their technician remembered the installation and recalled telling the previous owner that he had needed to vacuum out "2 inches of sand" from the plenum box.
Later when I requested that the technician verify what he had told me he refused because he "didn't want to get involved." I therefore had no recourse against the former owner for failing to mention the issue with the HVAC system. Bottom line: I have zero respect for Neerings. In my opinion the company lacks integrity and it is widely known for charging AT LEASTE double for the same work. Be cautious and get a second bid!

I'm sad that these reviews are so low, when I received outstanding customer service. I was referred by 5 different people to use Neerings for an estimate on my air conditioning unit. Curtis was my technician who educated and explained the whole process. He also gave me tips of how to keep it more efficient and how to wash the condenser, which vents to open in my house and was patient the entire time.
After the diagnostics, Curtis provided several quotes from smaller fixes to replacing the entire unit. I appreciate the time he took to understand my situation and provide all available options. I also received a follow up phone call from Devin to ask about my experience. It's very rare this happens, and the personal touch made the difference! I will definitely use Neerings again for other maintenance that needs to be done in the future.

Buyer Beware of Neerings- RIP OFF. ( Look at their rating) Please consider getting a second opinion, from a reputable plumber. These guys said the plumbing would require the complete replacement of the right and left shower "cartridges" (hot and cold water) and the main diverter ( that switches from tub to shower) They presented a quote for almost $$$ 850.00. ( Complete ripoff) I sent the two young men packing to tell their office - that was a rip off!
I was honest! I cant believe they get away with this. I went to major plumbing parts company - just off I-15 and around 90th South with the part in hand. They said its about a 15.00 part and they sent me down the street to a small company that had ( M-specialties 100 south/ 400west ) to buy it. I purchased the complete part for under 12.00 Took less than 30 minutes to install water is on perfect. Hey, Neerings stop taking advantage of people like this. If your getting away with this. STOP!

I cannot recommend Neerings, not even with one star but you can't post without at least one star. I have used them over the years. My recent experience has caused me to write this review and caution others so they don't have the same negative experience we have just had. We were charged over $900 for a warranty replacement water heater that was less than 4 years old.
When questioning the charges, Troy who is an owner and sets the pricing, told me it takes over 6 hours to replace the unit (the manufacturer of the unit said it should be done in less than an hour). His guys were there for a little over 3 and part of that time was redoing the installation because of their mistake. We were charged for over 6 hours plus parts and 30% profit. To top it all off, they stained our driveway with run-off as they loaded to faulty unit on their truck. Never again. Beware!

$500 for a toilet ring! Just to be clear, a wax ring is supposed to cost $80 to $100 installed. Called Neerings because I used them a long time ago. They send a plumber who got to our home and said that it would cost $500 minimum charge for a toilet wax ring! There is nothing special about this bathroom or toilet. Save yourself a lot of trouble and Do Not Call This Business.
