TLDR; 5 STAR SERVICE - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I called The Sewer & Drain Medic to inspect a septic system on a home that my real estate client is in the process of purchasing. From the initial call, I could tell that Anthony was a real pro in his industry. He followed up yesterday to ensure that we (the buyers and myself) were still planning to meet at the home this morning and to remind them to bring their payment card for processing on site.

He instructed us to arrive 30 minutes after he did so that he could get the initial inspection out of the way prior to our arrival. With time being so valuable these days, I really appreciated this, as we wouldn't have to waste time watching him dig and inspect. This will be the first home that my buyers will live in that has a septic system, so they had some concerns and questions.

He took time to answer their questions and was very informative with best practices for septic systems, which will help them to better take care of their system and to mitigate future potential problems. I have a septic system that was recently experiencing backups. I had used Anthony for the original inspection when we moved into the home, and he was so helpful, informative, and willing to answer all of my questions that I kept him in my contacts list as my preferred vendor. I called Anthony to see if he could come pump it, and he suggested that there might be something else the matter.

I snapped some pictures of the pumping setup and the tank risers, and he walked me through some basic troubleshooting of the system while on the road. I don't typically write reviews, but I felt obligated to write a review for this business because of more than one positive experience with them. I've now "worked with" both Anthony and John. They're hard working, they understand their craft, and they're honest. They're also professional, on time, and fair with their pricing. Obviously, pricing is a scary thing when dealing with a septic system, but they properly anticipated the repair prior to performing it so what was quoted to me was what I paid.

Anthony at Sewer and Drain Medic saved our bacon on a home purchase. We nearly bought a house with a potentially failing system. The bank didn't require an inspection but we got it on our own. It turned out the house had a history of septic trouble and an uncertain septic future. Anthony would have a PhD in septic science if such a thing existed. Anthony was great! He answered the phone on a weekend when no one else did. He gave great information about what to expect, what to do until he was able to come out and look at our septic, what the expected cost would be, etc. He was very polite and knowledgeable when he came to my home. We used Anthony when we first moved into our house to pump out our septic as per the move-in agreement. He offered great rates and information. Two years later we experienced significant flooding and our septic system stopped working. He came out as soon as possible and checked our system after we requested the septic to be pumped. Anthony came out and inspected our system and told us that we didn't need a pumping.

During a basic tank pumping Anthony found that I had a two compartment tank. The lid to the front tank had been cemented shut-and never, ever serviced. He finally chiseled it open and was able to pump it-after fishing out about 30lbs of baby wipes and dental floss by hand. Any extra charges for all his hard work? Nope! A solid five stars!

I called the sewer and drain medic's after moving into a house that was a foreclosure and not knowing the history of the house or the septic system. I called them on short notice. Anthony answered the call. Fortunately for us they were 12 minutes away at the time of the call enroute to their next job. Anthony and Phil showed up on schedule and ready to work.

They provided us quite a education on septic systems as we have had no extended experience with being on septic in our previous homes. This system is 20 years old. They were provided a challenge right from the get go in that none of us knew where the septic tank was in the yard. After about 15 minutes they discovered it was under our deck. After another 20-30 minutes we ended up having to remove several boards from the deck to access the tank. Anthony and Phil did a phenominal job and worked diligentely to access the tank.

It was a team effort and I helped them remove the deck boards to access the tank. What should have been an hour job took 2. These guys were very professional the whole time and explained everything they did in detail before they did it. These two guys had a very strong work ethic and knew their S**t. After a few laughs along the way. These guys deserve way more credit than I can write on the work that they do.

I will say that in todays world finding guys like Anthony and Phil is hard to come by and I hope their supervisor continues to take care of them. In the end they provided us with a detailed report of our septic system and recommendations to maintain the health of it. Extremely pleased with the service they provided on short notice and will not hesitate to call on them again if we ever have a problem.

We had water flooding the garage from the sink there backing up when the washing machine was emptying. Zak Killmon came right away even though it was a Saturday and he stayed until the problem was resolved. He was courteous and professional at all times. The fee was very reasonble considering the time and effort it took to resolve the problem.
