Matthew Bowman
General Manager
Matt started in the plumbing, heating and a/c field back in the early 90's while he worked for a warehouse type store as a facility manager. He was responsible for many aspects of commercial plumbing, heating and a/c repair and maintenance. Matt also directed several employees to complete all these tasks.
He soon met his mentor, Everett Bowman, in the residential field where he worked part time. He began to enjoy working in residential field and working with homeowners in which he began working with Everett full time in 1998.
Matt became a Master in Plumbing, Gas Fitting and HVAC in early 2002 in which he began to manage a local plumbing, heating and a/c company for the next 7 years. Matt now manages Dynamic and takes care of it's day-to-day operations when not running service calls.

We had Team Dynamic come out to replace a broken part on our sink. They first stopped by to give an estimate, then went to numerous shops to find a replacement part that ended up working perfectly. These guys are honest, reliable, and great at what they do. That alone is reason to use them over 99% of the other plumbing/HVAC services in the area. End your search now, and add them to your contacts.

Our water heater went out on a Thursday and I called Mr. Bowman on Friday (with a quote) and on Saturday we had a new water heater installed. I explained to Mr. Bowman what the problem was and before we unloaded the new water heater he wanted to double check to make sure it was indeed dead. Sure enough it was and off to work he went.,d rop clothes were placed on every spot that the heaters might go on.
Within 2 hours (as promised) we had the new heater installed. We have used Dynamic before and have been completely satisfied with the service and professionalism that this company displays. We will be customers for life!

I am thoroughly satisfied with the service I received from Dynamic. Mr. Bowman (Matt) came to my house promptly at 10:00 am to inspect the issues I was having with a water leak occurring between cpvc and copper joint. He took time to listen to all my questions and concerns and answered everything to my satisfaction. I thought I potentially needed a new water heater tank (12 yrs old) from not having enough hot water pressure, but he was able to make it work without the need for a replacement. Needless to say Dynamic and Mr. Bowman will be my go-to company and plumber for my future plumbing and HVAC needs. 5 Stars! Update: a few hours after he left, when I went to double check that all joints were not leaking, I found a small persistent leak on the water inlet joint.
I called Dynamic and Theresa promptly got in touch with Matt to come back and fix it. He came back within half an hour. Now it is leak free and I'm very happy with the service.

We have been using Dynamic for over a year and I believe they do great work and are honest. Lots of people here in Brambleton use them and love to refer them! Our A/C died at the end of summer. We just recently had Dynamic replace it. Matt and Andy installed it and they kept the house clean too. My 4 kids think they are pretty cool and love to follow them around, and Matt and Andy were great with them. BTW- even though I had been using Dynamic and figured I would have them install our new A/C unit, I did decide to get 4 other quotes from local HVAC companies. Dynamic came in equal to one other quote, slightly higher than the cheapest quote and less than the most expensive quote. But, Dynsmic still won in my book for their professionalism. I hope you have just as good of an experience as we have had.

Thanks Mathew B. for the response. That certainly gets you points with me (and many others). The frustration comes from an inability to "shop" services such as yours. A simple quote of your standard hourly fee would have gone a long way toward making this more palatable. Imagine going into a Starbucks and ordering a fantastically complex coffee. You'd expect to pay a premium but you'd still insist seeing the price before making a buying decision.
For too long services, not just plumbing, have given a Romney-esque response of, "just go with me and I'll tell you what that'll cost you later." While it's true, it's hard to compare apples when every job is so unique, there must be some basis beyond trusting whomever was willing to comment previously. Perhaps an auto-mechanic-style price list sort of thing would help.
A number of common services and their average cost when performed by your company (perhaps with a comparison chart showing "Company X" or "NoVa Average"). In this way you'd get a better informed customer which, in the end, means a more satisfied one. Since Yelp seems designed to help us weed through all the potential servicers, it seems like an excellent place to offer such information.

This company is awesome! We've used them several times for regular HVAC service, moving our hot water heater, extending a gas line to the kitchen to change to a gas stove, and most recently to replace and move our HVAC system. Matt's expertise and attention to detail is incredible. We'll definitely use them again!
