They were able to schedule next-day service for a non-emergency cleaning out of a kitchen drain. Joseph was on time, friendly and professional. Cleaned up carefully before he left. It took him longer than expected because the clog was nasty and deep in the pipes, but the charge was exactly as quoted. Very satisfied and would use them again.

Another exceptional experience from beginning to end from Addario's, this time regarding central air installation. My initial meeting with Kyle was informative yet quick, and I felt sure of what services we wanted and didn't want with his help. From there, Joe came by to ensure all the parts needed for high-quality work were identified and provided helpful solutions to problems we presented along the way.
His insights and time ensured we had all the information we needed to determine next steps. Finally, the installation job by Andrew, Eric, and Joel was top notch. From their arrival early morning through 6pm, the three remained helpful, engaging, and effective. What's more, their work quality shone through, with clean, neat work across the board. All in all, I'm thankful for such a great, effective team to have handled this project for us!

Mini duct system. 27 thousand for 4 split system. A bit expensive but you get what you pay for. Or so I thought. During install receive a call telling me electrical will not support new system and hyper heat. Additional 24 thousand. Ok stop payment on check, tell crew project is stopped. Then receive phone call demanding material used to be returned.
Well you have 11 thousand ( first installment ) and addario received another installment 12 thousand since canceled for 4 units installed. No duct worked performed, no electrical. Fair to say these crooks are ahead. Do not use! Overpriced. A look online and same system you can purchase for 5 thousand. Look elsewhere when thinking about plumbing needs.

Presentation: Mark's presentation was thorough and very knowledgeable. He measured each room for his recommendations. He informed us Addario's Services would take care of the installation including electric, clean up, rebates, and finance options. Installation: it started with Brian calling before he arrived to see where I wanted his vehicles parked and then he arrived on time! His crew was polite, courteous and very professional. The installation looks great clean up was thorough. And they finished ahead of schedule.

Wish I paid attention to these reviews before committing to my work. Addario's presented themselves well, which fooled me upfront. They installed 3 new waterheaters and 'serviced' my furnace. Waterheaters, seemingly went well until they continued to charge me for parts they didn't end up using, which they said they would not charge me for.
That was early January and i'm still calling over and over to get my refund. Furnace - I had them service it, it was working perfectly but someone mentioned I should have it serviced since it had been years. They did the work in November, replaced parts they stated needed to be replaced and what do you know, Furnace did not work again. Tech after Tech, appt after appt, call after call (me calling them every time obviously) it is now Mid April and the furnace is still not operational.
They 'jumped' some switches which the manufacturer DOES NOT RECOMMEND and i'm still waiting for them to return ANY and ALL of my calls.let alone schedule the fixes to my machine that they messed up. DISASTER, DO NO RECOMMEND.

We recently had central AC installed and could not be happier with the job they did. It was a pleasure meeting with Anthony to discuss our options beforehand. The friendly, professional team did an outstanding job from beginning to end with the install, including cleaning up and providing instructions on how to work the system. Experienced a power surge in my multi-family which caused one furnace to stop working. Krysti answered our call late in the afternoon and was very pleasant to deal with. They were at the house first thing in the morning to repair the equipment. Being an older model and parts not available; Tony was able to quickly give us a quote and schedule our replacement right then an there. Will definitely be using them for maintenance and installs in the future.

I've never written a Yelp review before, but I feel compelled to after dealing with this business. You won't know what you'll be charged until you get the bill: I contacted Addario about an intermittent gas smell from my furnace; we had National Grid in previously and they said it was not an emergency but that we should have someone check it out.
I contacted Addario for their $129 Furnace Repair Consulation which is described as: "We will come to your home; Present you with personalized solutions on what to do next; Evaluate the situation; Deliver you cost effective offers" etc. It also says "Upfront pricing." They were able to get a tech over earlier, so I ran home from work and met him at my house.
He took a look, then grabbed his sensor and waved it over the furnace for about 10 min, then said it's not leaking now. Then told me it would be an extra $100 for the gas detection; I said I wasn't aware of that, and he said I should have been told on the phone that the $129 is just to get him to the door. Well, I wasn't told, and he didn't say that this was going to cost any additional money before he did it.
I signed the bill and he left, but I became increasingly frustrated. This is a dishonest practice where they don't tell you what they'll charge up front, and you just get a bill for whatever they feel like at the end. I complained to them, and they said they would get back to me within a week. No luck after a week and half, so I contacted my credit card company.
No luck with them, so I am leaving this review to warn others. I'd be fine with having to pay an additional fee, but not if they don't disclose it up front. It's dishonest, and if they're willing to do this on a small consultation, what are they willing to on a large job? You have no idea what the bill is going to be if you hire this company, you'll only find out after the fact.

We had Addario's install mini-splits this time last year. Our mini-splits started working intermittently back in December. Mid December it stopped working completely. Tech comes out and of course it worked. I explained it was intermittent and he just left. Said there was nothing he could do. It's 2022. Is there not diagnostic equipment that can be connected to these units to see failures?
They stopped working again. Second tech comes out and says the units are not communicating with the circuit board in the condenser. He said he would order one and schedule it's installation. Third visit the tech said he does not think it is the card and thinks there is a leak. A refrigerant leak in a year old system? Why didn't he just install the card?
Worth a shot right? How could a system that has a refrigerant leak work intermittently? Wouldn't it just never work? The install of the splits was sold as a 2-3 day job. I think I had to take 7-8 days off of work total. The inspector did not sign off on job until the third or fourth inspection. The Electrician pierced our water main with a grounding rod and water started flowing into the cellar.
I will forever have in the back of my head the thought that the splice/clamp that was put on my water main will fail and fill my cellar with water. On to our bathroom remodel. Our $17k remodel. Mind you we bought everything for the job except the tub. Everything that could go wrong with this job went wrong. Checking around with people in the trades they say two guys on a one day job and the bathtub should not have cost that much.
All they provided was the tub. I didn't notice until they left that the vanity was not installed correctly and is not flush to the wall because they did not cut out the baseboard. We wanted a walk in tub. They measured our bathroom door and said we would have to have the door frame removed. We said OK and paid extra for it. The first time they come to deliver tub the front door is not wide enough.
They blamed that on us. Saying we should have known our front door to a house built in 1956 did not have a current to code door. Salesman comes out with carpenter they measure the back door and decide they can get it in backdoor. They said they could not make the turn in hall into the bathroom. If there was any question why didn't they send out the contractors that install the walk in tub beforehand to confirm it could or could not be done instead of relying on the word of a salesman?
Many months later our bathroom is still not completely done. I don't know what our options are now? BBB? Hire an attorney? No one returns calls or emails. You can call and ask to speak to a manager any day of the week any time of the day and they are always in a meeting. I think they are just running out the clock on the mini-split warranty. It expires in April.
I am ashamed that I did not do more research and had not gotten more estimates. Check out their Yelp reviews. They are so bad Addario's Services hasn't even claimed the page as their own. I have used 128 Plumbing before. They were always very reliable. Will be going to them for my maintenance work.

Anthony arrived on time looking professional and was very polite and friendly. He explained everything about installing new central AC in my home and he was very thorough with taking measurements, etc. As usual, Addario's has quality people working for them. I'm very impressed with Anthony as I have been with the other Addario staff members I have met on other jobs.

NEVER USE Addario's Services for plumbing or heating issues. My parents had a new boiler installed in their house and paid in full. Addario's went into thier bank account without permission and charged them double a few weeks later. When my parents called them about the issue they were promised a refund but then charged a third time with false notes indicating "repairs" in the statement.
My parents were then left no other choice but to report them to their credit cards fraud department. The money has been returned thanks to the credit card company but my parents were forced to cancel their card and get a new one because Addario's illegally going into thier accounts without permission. Besides all this when talking to two of their technician I could tell they had no idea what they're talking about.
I work with contractors on a regular basis and work in HVAC myself. Addario's is the one of the scummiest companies I have ever witnessed. Not to mention they canceled at least 8 appointments on us at last second which used up all of my fathers time off from work for nothing. Their ratings on Google are 5 stars but Google is notoriously unreliable for ratings, if you check Yelp they only have a 1 and a half star rating. Please do not be scammed by this company and share this with anyone you know that may be looking for plumbing or heating work to be done.

The professionalism, customer service, and expertise is unmatched. One of their techs named Brian discovered that my heating system wasn't receiving enough gas pressure from the street which lead to National grid replacing the gas line to my home. Weeks later, Brian conducted an electrical trouble shoot on my heating system and found the problem once again. The dispatcher Debbie assisted me throughout the process, she returned my calls within minutes, she was very professional, courteous, and her customer service was top notch.

Installation of a new Combi boiler needs two full working days, so our heating system could not work at the first night. When I told the technician Brian who was working on our heating system that the temperature would hit single at night, he went back immediately to the company to bring 4 electric heaters to help us maintain the inside temperature. The floor was cleaned when they went home. This is a real responsive company with very nice employees. I would like to recommend them to all those need their services.

Falsely billed for work never done. When confronted, HVAC Service Manager, he never called me back and refused to talk about prepay refund. I disputed charge with Amex then they falsely claimed they did the work. Never hire this contractor. There was a time this company was good, their service has gone down hill major league. Their customer service is garbage.

Absolutely awful. If I had to choose between doing business with Addarios again or getting diagnosed with an incurable cancer, I would choose the cancer hands down. Long story short Addarios messed up the job of replacing a bath tub. Told me I "should just come home drunk" and I wouldn't notice the mistakes. I wanted a refund they refused. Then told me to negotiate with Addarios attorney.
I came to an agreement with the attorney for the refund. Addarios refused to give me that agreed upon refund. Addarios refuses to return my calls or emails. Worst company I have ever done business with. Just wanted to give an update. Addarios did such an awful job I had to replace everything less than 2 years after they "finished". Addarios is worse than I originally thought, which is hard to achieve. If you are looking to have a company disrespect you and your family, while at the same time doing a poor/horrendous job. Addarios is the perfect company for you.

I signed up for the $109 special and the technician was very good explaining the problem. My furnace wasn't working so they sent a salesman Marc the next day to give me a quote for a new furnace. Marc was very aggressive and intimidating trying to sell me a furnace and water heater. When I told him I was getting other estimates, he told me he was going to report me for not having heat in my house.
He gave me other scenarios my pipes were going to freeze because I had no heat. I have a wood furnace that I used to heat up my house until I could get another furnace. I informed him I found another company and he said because the other company was a cheaper company. I chose them because the other company was more professional and had a nicer attitude to clients. Beware if Marc comes to your house to give you an estimate for any services.

We are pleased with the professionalism of both the sales and installation staff. The price was a bit more than competitive bids, but the 25 year guarantee was the clincher because our condo association requires a new water heater every 10 years. So, we spent a little more now to save a lot in the future. The unit was installed within five days of purchase and the installers were careful, neat and quick. I would recommend Addario Services to everyone.

Very unprofessional service, made me sign up for their family service plan but they did not seem to care when my HVAC was down for a week and needed to be repaired and replaced. Several operators on the call were extremely rude and basically blamed me for not being at home at 830am to let the technicians in when my appointment windows is between 10am-12pm, they clearly messed up their "busy" schedule and just blamed it on customers. My advice is don't trust their family plan, I was left without the heat for a week and had to entertain their rude staffs.

Do not use this company. They are not looking to help people only extort money from vulnerable people. I was referred to this company when my heat suddenly stopped working. They were the 1st to come out. I paid extra for an evaluation to determine the problem. Several issues were identified and I was told it would cost about $3k to fix everything.
I waited 4 days and heard nothing from this company on ETA for work. I called and was told the parts were ordered but due to covid it takes longer. I received a call 3 days later to say the part would come 10 days later. Now my family including 3 children were without heat for going on 3 weeks. Going into week 4, a technician shows up at the house states he cannot do any of the work and it will cost us $19,000 to fix.
He did Nothing except give our phone number to the finance person at the company. he claimed the previous technician didn't know what he was doing and had been fired. we asked him to leave. Another friend gave us a different company and they came in 2 days and fixed the problem in 2 hours for $250 total including the part. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

TL/DR: Be aware, Addario is very unethical and they will go out their ways to try and scam you. If you're a homeowner that's not familiar with HVAC repair/installation like me, please be very careful with Addario's. I had an issue with my Fujitsu ductless AC back in June. I called Addario's due to their rating, as I assume all of you are.
They came in two weeks later to do diagnostics and came back for repairing. This process repeated three times which took almost two months. It should've been my red flag, but hey, good review, gotta trust them right. The third time they came in, their tech told me that they won't be able to fix it, because the whole system was installed UPSIDE DOWN.
As crazy as that might sound, I believed them. They gave me quotes ranging from 18K to 28K, depending on brand and scope of the work. For safety precaution, I decided to make a few calls to other HVAC companies and get a few more quotes before I actually went with Addario's. Best decision of my life. Three different companies came in to take a look at my system. ALL THREE OF THEM GUARANTEED that it was installed properly.
None of them suggested replacing the system since it's only 6 years in (Addario's said it breaks around 5), but gave me quotes anyways. Ranging from 8K to 12K. I ended up fixing the system for 2K. They came in two weeks later to do diagnostics and came back for repairing. This process repeated three times which took almost two months. It should've been my red flag, but hey, good review, gotta trust them right. The third time they came in, their tech told me that they won't be able to fix it, because the whole system was installed UPSIDE DOWN.
As crazy as that might sound, I believed them. They gave me quotes ranging from 18K to 28K, depending on brand and scope of the work. For safety precaution, I decided to make a few calls to other HVAC companies and get a few more quotes before I actually went with Addario's. Best decision of my life. Three different companies came in to take a look at my system. ALL THREE OF THEM GUARANTEED that it was installed properly.

Worse experience ever! We had three working bathrooms, two sink drains were running a bit slow, but were still functioning fine and not clogged. The sinks had no leaking anywhere. We thought it did not hurt to have these cleaned to prevent clogging. At the end of their "services", we have no working sinks in all three bathrooms. We are left with clogged and leaking sinks.
The technician told us that they would not be able to fix the leak resulting from snaking the drain. Rather than sending people who can fix the problem, we were told that the company would send plumber to give us a quote for the repairs. Leaving the inconvenience aside, we found it disappointing to see a company that do not stand by the quality of their service and do not make an effort to repair damages as a result of their services.
To add to the frustration, the company never contacted us. I called them and was told that I need to pay $119 just for a plumber to come to take a look at the damages caused by their technician.

Terrible terrible terrible company. RUN! Look at the reviews. This is a HORRIBLE company. They will lie to you. Every single employee seems to be miserable. They will charge far more than reasonable and never finish the work. They have family in positions of power that enable (probably encourage) their disgusting treatment of others. No clue how they sleep at night!

Go elsewhere-terrible quality and customer service. Had a bath insert installed-paid above national average due to some smooth talking from sales-I am left with mismatched tile alignment and a gap on my floor & wall --not to mention the holy hell mess I had to clean up including glue on my bathroom walls and minor dings that will need attention-if I could give no stars I would. Still waiting to hear how they're going to remedy this -the only time I was called back timely was when I denied payment

TLDR: Not worth the money; go elsewhere. I'll start by saying it was my mistake for not being over-bearing on the contract details and lacking information regarding the job; don't make my mistake. Our rep(Marc) made verbal promises that weren't written down accordingly, and then became unresponsive and unwilling to work with us when I started to bring these issues up. Technicians were mostly decent guys; they did the work but had an air of "this shit happens all the time" about them when it comes to issues and complaints.
The guys that came in and installed the furnace just left the old exhaust fan behind the new unit and left bits and pieces all over(screws, plastic bits, metal shavings, etc). There were several items that we had discussed but were either not included in the final contract, or were described differently in writing. One star is solely for the quality of the work done and the time taken. Again, my mistake for not thoroughly reviewing the contract details and being uninformed going into it, but lesson learned.
Final thoughts and suggestions to folks out there looking to work with this company(specifically for HVAC): -Don't go with Addario's; there are plenty of better options. Choose someone else that's been in the business longer, and has a better reputation. -If for whatever reason, you have to go with Addario's, make sure you have absolutely everything discussed included in the invoice.
If it's not written down, don't sign the contract. -When reviewing multiple quotes, expect these guys to be either the most expensive option, or amongst the top. Do not equate that price tag with quality; these guys do nothing above average. This is the kind of company that lives by the phrase "overpromise and underdeliver". If someone from Addario's is actually reading this and made it this far, please don't reach out.
The most satisfying part of the job was it being over with and not having to deal with your company anymore. Let me save you the time and money by saying I don't care about your bs family club plan. I don't care to deal with some guy coming out to my home for "check ups" just to sell me shit I don't need. Be happy you got paid. Addario's prides themselves on a 5 point program: Professionalism, Responsiveness, Quality, Value, Punctuality Addario was the first of 5 people to return my call of desperation and show up. My basement was flooding from a broken hot water heater. The salesman that came (Jim) tried upselling me on unit size and an extended warranty. He accepted my immediate "NO"; established a price for the job ($4,190, which included a $300 fee for it being a Saturday) and said he could do it that day.
I was shocked by the price but my back was against the wall. I didn't want to wait for fear of further destruction to my property. A couple of hours later, Artie arrived and did a professional job of installing the new hot water heater. I immediately thought the price was too high but felt helpless. So the "stars" are for responsiveness and punctuality.
I feel like I was "had" on the professionalism, value and quality as for that price, the replacement unit should NOT have been the same unit that I could buy for $1289. Had the salesmen been honest and said the replacement unit would be the same as the unit I had, I most likely would have looked for another contractor. My expectations weren't met.

I can't say enough about them. We had an emergency. Broken furnace. Another company came out to look at it, and told us they would look into "finding a furnace" for us. Two days later, still no call, still no furnace. I reached out to this company. Same day they had somebody out to look at it, and let us know we needed a new furnace. Not exactly what I had planned to spend my money on this week, but it is what it is.
They showed us options, payment plans, and had us approved and ready to go in a little under an hour. My new furnace was put in today. They were here all day. Four guys, and an electrician. It wasnt an easy job based on where the location Of where it had to go, and what had to be done to make it work. I can't say enough about the technicians that came here.

Don't use them unless you are willing to give away money. I had them come to the house to charge me 300 dollars to plug in a wire that wasn't plugged in. Then they quoted me 800 dollars for a flame sensor and a ignightor when I just did that on my own and spent 30 dollars total for the parts and only 3 nuts to undo to replace. I understand they need to make money but that's overkill.
I guess I am in the wrong business. The only thing I can give them is I got heat now for 10 min and when I called them back they said oh it was working. There never was a wire unplugged they just made it up. I was told I would get a price first before they started the job and that never happened. So if u do use them I guess tell them before they step in the door to let them know they give a price first.
I wish I could rate zero stars. I wouldn't use ever again. I put a bad rating on their website and it doesnt even except it unless it 4 stars or above what kind of company is this. The owner calls me and after going at it for an hour he asks me to retract the negative feedback. Yeah ok buddy wont get my money again.

We recently had our 45 year old tub/shower renovated. The tile was coming loose and there were signs of water damage. I had a budget figure in mind and their quote was within that budget. They removed the existing tub, tiles and drywall and repaired all damaged studs. They installed a new plumbing, fiberglass tub and wall surround. There were a couple of detail areas I was worried about, but they handled them beautifully.
The job looks fantastic, it was done in two days and within budget. The workmen as well as management and office staff were very professional and courteous. I will definitely call them for any future plumbing or heating needs.

The customer service is top notch! I can't even say enough. This fall my hot water heater flooded my basement. Maria walked me through the daunting process of loans and rebates step by step. The technicians who did the work were professional and courteous. They went above and beyond to make the heat and hot water work in my old drafty house. I wouldn't even dream of using anyone else but Addarios.
