Steve Bennefield started plumbing in 1986. He learned an incredible array of different techniques in the plumbing trade, earning his Journeyman License in 1988, just two years later. His interest in the subject, paired with a love of helping people, instilled a deep passion for his trade within him.
At Flow Rite Plumbing, we have accurately pinpointed thousands of water leaks, honing in on their exact science. If you believe you may have a slab leak, we will run the appropriate diagnostic test and come up with a treatment plan. I can't say enough kind things about Steve at Flow Rite Plumbing. He truly is there for the homeowner. I called to have him come out and fix my master shower faucet, it has been leaking since we moved in. We knew it needed a new cartridge, but couldn't figure out how to get to it. He was more than willing to troubleshoot it and walk me through step by step via photographs and FaceTime to find what I needed. Turns out he spent his time and offered his expertise to help me find and order the part all at no charge. It truly was a breath of fresh air to find someone with his caliber of customer service. He will always be my family's first call with any plumbing needs.

I had a slight emergency with a very old water heater that was leaking so I called a few plumbers. Steve with Flow Rite Plumbing answered my call (didn't have to leave a message) and was able to get an even larger water heater than I had, then installed it THAT DAY. 'Kind of miraculous considering how busy everyone is with this massive construction boom - including Steve.
It only took him an hour or so and he cleaned up everything, hauling away the monster that caused my worries. As long as he's in business I will call him for every plumbing problem this old house can dish out!

Our main water supply sprung a leak. Called every plumber in Tyler with little response. Steve called back immediately and was willing to come out the next morning. AND on time! We thought we would be charged exponentially more. Very very happy. Will not use anyone else for any plumbing issues we have in the future! Very satisfied!

Called to report and issue and these guys were at my doorstep in less that 20 minutes! They were quick to recognize the issue and had the tools and supplies with them to fix it. They even took the time to clean up the area when they were finished. We will definitely be using Flow Rite Plumbing in the future. Great guys, quality work and fair prices.

Best plumber we've ever used! We had a couple of plumbing issues and our home warranty company sent the work to Flowrite / Steve. Steve responded quickly (which seems to be rare in E Texas) and was out the next day. He was very professional, friendly, and didn't make a huge mess or track in mud. Repairs were all completed the same day. That was 2 years ago.
Since then, each time we've needed plumbing work, we've called Flowrite directly. His response time has been great, his level of service has continued to be fantastic. His pricing is fair (again rare in E Texas). Would highly recommend.

We were first introduced to Steve / Flow Rite Plumbing through a Warranty Claim. I have since used Steve on at least 3 occasions. Each time he is professional, quick, and reasonably priced. On one occasion, he troubleshooted an issue with me over the phone (for our hot water heater) and saved me money by not having him come out for a service call. I had a leak in a line coming from the meter, and the water was into the street. I called Flow Rite Plumbing, and they came right out! Very friendly, got right to work and found the problem. Repaired it quickly and all was back to normal. I really appreciate their willingness to quickly respond to a minor emergency.

Flow Rite made a service call representing our home warranty. What a pleasure to deal with someone so professional and friendly! The serviceman was the owner. Repairs to our shower faucet were completed in only a few minutes. We spent more time just "visiting" than he spent to do the work. I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing plumbing type services. I understand they also do sprinkler installations. Great people!
