Went for parts for a furnace got several different parts for same burner. I asked if the tiger loop would be beneficial due to the length of my oil line. I think the regular filter was $35 and the tiger loop was $140. Louis said that's all you will need. Get to the job crawl underneath the house and start the repair and there where no braied hose in kit.
When i called and ask for the hose they told me they didn't have and laughed at me when i said i wanted to return it. Got ahold of a higher up and he said he could "rig something up" but not to code. It took the customer going in and complaining to get refunded.

I was told that this is a really expensive place so I was avoiding it and shopping around for fittings and such. When I actually went their I realized that not only do they have a great selection of fittings (couplers, reducers etc) but they're actually priced lower than home depot or lowes or other hardware places. However, their major components do seem to be more expensive (such as say a pressure reduction valve) compared to a company like Hasco for instance.

Great service cannot overcome horrible exchange policy. The service at frontier heating has always been fantastic, they have great employees, but I will not be a customer there any longer. Their recent change in their exchange policy has left me baffled. I recently purchased a fuel pump for my oil burner, the pump was defective out of the box. I was told I has to buy another pump out of pocket and would not be refunded for the faulty pump until beckett cleared it.
I was also told I may not even get my full amount returned to me. All I wanted was to exchange the faulty pump for another unit. Instead I'm out of pocket for two pumps. I prefer to keep my business local if possible and am willing to pay extra for that and for local service. With this new policy in place at frontier I will have to become an online buyer for my heating supplies and equipment.
