Very dissatisfied with latest service. I used Aquamist for underground sprinkle services for the past 3 years. The service and quotes were not what was promised, had to double pay for two technicians when only one was needed. I firmly believe repair should have been done at no cost based on issue. I will definitely look for another company for future needs.

I had been in my house for 3 years and never ran the underground sprinklers. They got me up and running in 3 minutes. Checked all of my heads and brought me up to speed on operation. Great service!

I've worked with Aquamist for over 10 years with Alberto servicing many of those years. He's very friendly and professional and fixed issues with the system as a result of an aging system and some user errors. Company overall is responsive with good followup. Great customer service! Carl came to start up our system in horrible cold rainy weather and did an outstanding job, as always, plus he has been here before. He's patient despite the May 6, 2022 truly inclement, cold weather. Most of all he showed great attention to detail. We will want him to come to our home every time, and have used Aquamist since 1989. Job well done! A very competent technician.

Stay away from this company. Heidi Buhle is very unprofessional and rude. After doing five years of business with them, she dropped the ball with scheduling our winterization appointment. She hung up the phone when I told her she never called and confirmed the appointment. I gave one star because that the only option I have. This company deserves zero stars.

Critical: Quality Stay away they are a horrible company to do business with. They charge a lot of money for work not done even if it is out of your control.

Aquamist came out and fixed my lawn irrigation system and did a great job. It hadn't been used in years from the previous owner but we wanted to use it. Now it works great. Highly recommend them.

Critical: Value I will never use them again. The service is poor charge for work they didn't perform. Came out 3 times and did the same work over again. Will look for another company to complete their work.

Very professional and quick work to install and repair new irrigation system for our commercial property in Elk Grove.

We hired them to open and check our sprinkling system. It took them less than 45 minutes to open, check, and replace two sprinkler heads. They charged us for an additional 45 minutes of time not worked because they said their truck tracker stated they were at my house for 90 minutes. I explained to them that I know exactly what time they came to my front door and what time they left; I have cameras and text messages since I was working from home.

After going back and forth, I was told it would be discussed with the owner and would receive a call back. They never called back. I do not know how they've stayed in business this long. We should have read other reviews.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in regards to a home contractor. Aquamist had scheduled 8 hours at my home today, which would have been ample time to finish before my landscapers came tomorrow. They tried to get me to sign a contract before they even came to my home, and when they got here they tried to charge me $975.00 for a part that cost $315 on Amazon and every other website. BEWARE when dealing with these guys. After I declined to put in the controller they just picked up and left and didn't complete any of the other scheduled work. RUN RUN RUN

We hired Aquamist to do the annual in-home test of our several RPZ valves. The technician reported one valve had failed the test and that Aquamist would send a quote to overhaul the valve. The quote arrived as promised. The problem was the $985 price tag. I hired another well-known licensed plumber who rebuilt & tested the valve for $365 all in. He also reported his repair as required to the local authorities.

I told the people at Aquamist that the only thing their aggressive pricing accomplished was to have me question their business ethics - a thought I would never have otherwise had. Was their original testing really unbiased? Hmmm.

Absolute worst plumbers I have ever encountered, horrible customer service and poor work was completed.

DECEPTIVE - COMPANIES LIKE THIS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE! This company sent a "Service Agreement" to my business location that, from every perspective, seemed like a legit invoice. This "Service Agreement" was a solicitation of services with a 3 year auto renewal. NO WHERE does it state this is not an invoice, but has a client number, our company name and location, etc.

First red flag. Then, I called them to ask if I had missed something and after talking to the receptionist, I could tell she knew this wasn't right. So, call them out for such deceptive soliciting and asked to be removed. She took my address and then hung up on me. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I can't imagine how many people fell prey to this unethical business approach.

Worst. I knew they had poor business practices years ago when they continually found "broken" sprinkler heads during routine seasonal checks, when nothing could have possible broken them. At my expense, of course, in addition to their seasonal checkup costs. Against my better judgement, I included them in a list of service providers/ contractors who I considered for estimates in a landscape repair project (all of whom gave a free estimate as is customary).

They came to my home to give the "free estimate" for landscape construction project, then insisted I pay them 80$, which I did not authorize. Then they raised the amount sent to collections, which I also disputed, yet for which I received no response. My credit score was 880 and now it's down 200 points. I have filed a compliant with BBB and am involved in a dispute process with Equifax to remove this only negative mark my credit report has ever seen. IGNORE the huge "FREE ESTIMATES" signage on the side of the van.

They were 6hours later than the given time span of arrival. The charged me for the service call and labor for work they did not do because they did not have the part to repair my sprinkler system. They encouraged that they check the system even though they had told me the ball valve had a hole in it and would continually leak all for the price of 95.00. I would not use them ever again or recommend them.

Not happy that for the thousands we have spent at our residence, we have had continual problems with Aquamist service and technicians. Bottom line is that we have lost thousands in planting due to insufficient water supply. Yearly and monthly checkups don't help make the unit run any better. Expensive and unhelpful.

Not sure about all the negative reviews because my experience with Aquamist was phenomenal. I received several quotes from competitors for a complete yard irrigation system in Lincoln Square - with Aquamist coming in at the best price (one even quoted 2.5 times more for the same system). My sales rep was Mike Buttron who evaluated the system I needed expeditiously.

He kept in constant contact with me throughout the process. The guys that did the install were professional and cleaned up after themselves. There were several modifications that required the team to come back out on two occasions - which they did quickly and without question. They walked my wife through the system, showing her how the modifications were now covering the entire yard and landscaping. Overall excellent customer service and value. I highly recommend.

I inherited Aquamist when we bought our home. They use to be wonderful! The last few years, not so much. I have had constant problems with my system. Last year water was dripping in my basement where, apparently they did not shut the valve off correctly.got billed for that.the latest was to discover that the original workers never turned on my outside water system!

I had to pay for that service call. The system indicates that water is running, but no water is coming from system. Again, someone will be coming out and again I will have to pay. I have water welling up under the outside pipes and was told its probably condensation. Seriously?!?! They are expensive, some of the office staff is sharp on the phone. I find them.unpleasant to work with. I would not recommend

We purchased a home that had previously contracted with Aquamist for the existing sprinkler system. First, we had problems scheduling appointments. Second, we had a backflow test and the company quoted us 2 expensive options to remedy and we subsequently had a second company review the problem and it ended up being an inexpensive washer replacement saving us hundreds of dollars. (When we questioned Aquamist about the backflow issue, they were rude, inpatient and ultimately reported us to our village). I would not recommend Aquamist. We had a great experience with Oasis Irrigation in Downers' Grove and plan on using them hereafter.

Had them winterize my lawn sprinkler one year and reopen it another year. Service workers are very friendly and know what they are doing. However, the prices are extremely high. After hiring several sprinkler companies, you will find these guys to likely be the highest priced. That said, they are responsive to calls.

Service? Boost pump caused leaks in several parts of the house -- understandable, but no warning given by salesman. When pump itself began to leak causing minor flood in basement, I called service. Was told I would be called back -- didn't happen. Instead, I got email asking that I fax back a work order and deposit for $195 before they would SCHEDULE and appointment. (Yes, before scheduling -- not before work done or at time of service! Account was not overdue.) Service manager would not take call, receptionist told me they didn't have to provide any service.

Hired Aquamist to due my automatic sprinklers and honestly they did a great job except for two heads which were installed too loosely. They were to be under warranty but instead they came out to re-screw in the two heads and then proceeded to charge me $180. I disputed this charge and asked that the manager call me back, which never happened. Months later I received a letter which stated the charge was sent to collections.

I then left three more messages for the manager to call me back along with a pager number and cell number for them to get in touch with me immediately. I still am awaiting a call back. This third message I left with a girl name Shelly who was nothing but rude and laughing at my complaint. They said my warranty was invalidated because the system was started professionally by a different company.

When I asked Amy, their operations manager, for a copy of this policy (3 months ago) I have yet to receive it. These people are a bunch of scheisters, AVOID dealing with them and deal only with them if you don't mind damaging your credit with false charges.
