Called them to replace a valve in my basement. They sent a guy out and he replaced the valve. Within 20 minutes the valve ruptured and my basement flooded for several hours with no one home! Once I got home and turned off the water, it took almost an hour to contact someone at their office as their business hours conclude at 3:00 p.m. They eventually came back to replace the faulty valve where the proprietor told me that the valve was installed incorrectly by one of his associates.
He then told me that the entire job would be free of charge (obviously!). In the last month i received 2 phone calls and 2 pay due invoices for the initial valve that was installed incorrectly. I was then told by the secretary that the "free of charge" part was for the repair AFTER they flooded the basement and I still owe them for the valve that was installed incorrectly.
Absolutely terrible business practice. The proprietor was friendly and helpful so if they rectify this matter I may consider adding a star but essencially charging me to flood my basement is completely inappropriate.
