The guys who came to the house were very professional and knowledgeable. They quickly identified the problem and gave me an estimate of the cost before proceeding to do the work. They made the repairs equally fast. Then they walked me through their findings after they made the repairs. I have been using Kinnett Plumbing for years. They are great!

We used Kinnett Plumbing years a go to replace a toilet. They did such a good job (honest, professional, qualified) that when our outside hose bib connection was leaking, I only called Kinnett. They are the only plumbers I will use in Northern Virginia. I have been through all the big name plumbers in the past. And Kinnett is the best!

James was courteous, knowledgeable and well versed in his profession. He used synonyms to explain the problem and even anticipated difficulties that may arise later. He answered most of my questions and trouble shot intermediate issues. He was very good in cleaning after himself and respectful of the area he worked in. A rare gem amongst professionals and I will definitely recommend him to close friends and family.

A couple of months ago, the water company came to the door and said we were losing water - a gallon a minute! Called Kinnett and with their help we were able to get the situation under control and repaired! Called Kinnett again this week for a major clog in our basement floor drain under the washer that had caused an overflow into our basement area.

As always, they were quick to respond, and worked to resolve the issue. Kinnett is terrific. When "they" say to have a good plumber and auto mechanic in your speed dial - for my plumber I choose Kinnett. Highly recommend!

Every plumber has been very polite, friendly and not difficult to communicate with. For me who knows nothing about plumbing, I understand after is explained to me what needs to be done and why. We think that they do a great work with fair pricing. We can depend on having quality work done. We have had help us several times and will continue to call when needed.

I love the online scheduling. The price is bottom line- no changes. Over the years, I've hired them to install water line to refrigerator, garbage disposal, and hot water tank.

We had an upstairs water leak that was coming through the downstairs ceiling and bathroom vent. It looked like it was going to be an expensive repair. A crew of two showed up on time, wearing masks and even brought my newspaper up from the driveway. Turned out an upstairs toilet tank was over filling and water was escaping through the handle housing.

They assessed the problem, which wasn't an obvious one, and had it fixed in less than 45 minutes. The bill was was very reasonable and a big relief since I anticipated a whopper. Also, I discovered water in our downstairs guest room the night before and they were perfectly willing too come out that night. That wasn't necessary thanks to the advice I was given to stop further leakage. I've used them before and if I run into any plumbing issues again, I'll use them again.

This entire process has been disappointing for us. They underestimated of cost associated with the project, they didn't pull a permit, they didn't use the right color sealant on the pipes and now we have failed inspection. Instead of apologizing or rectifying it right away they blamed it on us.

A top-to-bottom excellent experience. Called the night before after finding a leak from my hot water heater and they were out by 11am the next day (this was a non-emergency, but still urgent). On the phone, I received great advice to stem the leak and it worked, so at least they are very experienced and know some tricks to assist even before seeing the issue.

My tech was on time and gave me a range of options, with pricing, and I decided to replace my water heater after discovering it was 20-years old! Right then, he said he could replace the whole thing in 3-hours. I was shocked at how quick it would be. They also stuck to the quoted price even though he needed a few extra parts. That's an excellent company with no up-selling. They will get my business again for sure and I highly recommend them.

I have used Kinnett Plumbing a few times for pretty large jobs at my house. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with their service and professionalism. The reason I'm giving Kinnett 3 stars is the fact that I'm not a fan of their fee structure - they charge the client based on an amount PER HOUR rather than PER JOB. I haven't seen this done a lot by contractors.

Although the two times that I've used Kinnett, they were very efficient and got the job done ASAP, the fact that they bill the client more money if it goes over an hour gives me a little pause when I select plumbers next time. I prefer to have clarity over what I'll pay rather than uncertainty and prefer the contractor to take their time to get the job done properly rather than rush to get it done in under an hour so the client doesn't get billed more.

I had an issue with a clogged storm drain flooding my basement at a newly purchased property in Arlington. Based on previous positive reviews, I got in touch with Kinnett Plumbing to see if someone could come out and troubleshoot my issue. Kevin Kinnett came out himself, within a few hours of our initial conversation, and quickly concluded that my drain could not be snaked with the traditional methods and would most likely, have to be replaced.

He was very upfront in his cost estimates and amount of time it would take to do the work. He had a team out there the next day and my drain and surrounding apparatus were replaced and new concrete was poured. I was really grateful (and happy) for the work that Kinnett Plumbing did for me. They were very professional and extremely efficient. Awesome results!

Had a leak in an upstairs bathroom which is no fun and super depressing. Water coming through our kitchen ceiling! Kinnett sent Jack out within about five hours of my call. I was really impressed with his ability to diagnose and troubleshoot the issue with minimal cutting of our ceiling drywall. Price was excellent. Problem was located and addressed. Technician was super friendly and smart. Kinnett also used a notification app that kept me updated on arrival times. Will definitely use this company for plumbing issues in the future.

Great job! Jake came out and took care of a broken dishwasher and gave me great advise. I am a new home owner and he was able answer a lot if my general questions. I will have plenty of jobs over the next year and would certainly call them again. Wonder if I can ask for Jake? Good work is hard to find and they guys certainly provided good work.

We went with Kinnett Plumbing. Highly recommended. Darryl did a wonderful job (apprentice Jack too). Arrived on time as promised. Quick and complete fix. I'm very satisfied.

I received a notice from my water company on a Friday morning that my meter reading was unusually high. I requested a quote on Yelp and within minutes received three calls from plumbers telling me they all could be there Monday. About an hour later, Kevin, the owner called me and said he could be out to my house on Friday afternoon as I suspected the culprit was a running toilet in one of my bathrooms.

The technician, Darrell, showed up within the specified time frame and was thorough and answered all of my questions. He made the repairs and did not charge me for several items that were needed, which was appreciated. Great quality of work and great customer service. I'd definitely call on them again, if needed.

Discovered pooling water under the sink over the weekend and needed a plumber asap. Kevin responded in under an hour and repaired the pin hole leak and replaced some fixtures that were improperly installed.

I have had this company to my house on 3 separate occasions, and called 4 times. I had three different people each time, but the guys were always pleasant, friendly, and willing to explain everything. Being a stay at home mom, I am reluctant to let contractors into my home while my husband is gone. But these guys are always so nice. The price isn't cheap, but they do not gouge you like other plumbers.

They are fair/average price. I don't just pay for their services, I gladly pay for their honesty. I recommended a friend when her pipes froze. they sat on the phone and told her it would be a huge waste of money, and explained how to fix her problem and when to call them back if any problems were to arise. It's hard to find friendly, trustworthy contractors and I definitely keep their magnet on my fridge. I found them on angies list. They do offer 10% discount to angies list customers.

I have used Kinnett twice now for repairs at my home and business, and I couldn't have asked for more efficient and professional work. Kevin, the owner, is awesome and really takes pride in providing honest customer service. I will definitely continue using them for all my plumbing needs!
