NEW moved our plumbing for our new bathroom and installed a new tub. They had to come back and change the location of the shower plumbing because it was wrong and it took forever to get them to re schedule. We also tried to get a quote from them for a tankless water heater and they did not respond. Less than a year later the plumbing for the tub is now leaking into our basement. We are now using another company to repair their sub-par work.

We had a toilet leaking. Called NEW on November 1. Said technician would come on November 2. When technician showed up the first words out of his mouth were "I'm not a plumber, I'm one of the HVAC guys". I told him what was happening with the toilet and showed him where I thought it was leaking. I told him it was leaking into our basement. He tightened a bolt on the tank and said that should fix the problem Never once did he check where it was leaking in the basement.
He was here about 10 minutes. We watched the leak in the basement and it was still leaking. I started calling NEW again trying to get someone to come to the house. I called twice that week but no response. On Monday the 8th, I got a call from them but no one left a message. I continued to try to make contact twice the week of the 8th. Their office manager promised she would call me when our name was on the list.no call.
On Thursday the 11th, I finally called another plumbing service in town to come look at the toilet. Scheduled Quine to come of the 15th. They arrived promptly, actually looked at the leak in the basement and knew immediately what was wrong. Toilet was now fixed after two weeks of dealing with NEW. I have tried to contact NEW about getting a refund on some of the money we got charged but they won't compensate me for time and trouble. Please, please be extremely cautious about using NEW plumbing. We certainly did not have good experience.

Wow. I would never recommend. I called as I had a clogged sewer in the basement of my rental. They showed up one day after they said they would be there and then said they can't help because there was about an inch of standing water around the sewer drain in basement. I guess when I tell someone I have a clogged drain I didn't realize it would have to be dry.
Isn't that what happens when you have a clogged sewer it backs up? What a joke! Then to charge me for all of this when they did absolutely nothing! I will never recommend this company to anyone. I hope you find another solution for your plumbing needs.

The blower motor on my furnace was dying, I called one day to schedule an appointment. They don't have a 24 hour technician, and they close at 3pm. Who closes that early being a plumbing and heating company?! And then after waiting most of the day for a technician they call me to tell me that they won't be able to make it til Monday(this was a Friday by the way), and they even charged my card before even coming out and investigating my HVAC system. I ended up calling and cancelling and getting a refund. I'm glad my house wasn't going to blow up.

Were told they would not be out to look at leaks for a week which was fine because we needed to open some walls up to find the exact source. The same day I called to get on a wait list they called back and said they could stop by in 10 min. They stopped by - No Masks - and came into our home to look at the basement where the 2 walls were showing evidence of leaks and said they couldn't do anything until the walls were removed. 2 minutes later they were gone.
We worked on the walls and had them down finding the sources of the leaks and called them back an hour later and they said they wouldn't be able to get to it until Monday or Tuesday. Which we understood and said ok no problem. Monday came - no call, Tuesday came, no call - we called the office to find out when they would be coming and they said Wednesday - Wednesday came and no call or show.
I called Wednesday and cancelled our appointment with them and said if they charge my card the $82 deposit which they require you pay that they will hear from my bank. NEVER NEVER CALL THESE PEOPLE! I normally google everything.unfortunately this time. I did not. My dad was put in hospice & I was in a hurry to get someone in here, and I had no idea who to call. $1000.00 to install 2 faucets/ bath & kitchen. Change kitchen sink. And a new shower assembly with diverter. I supplied all parts! Except the shower assembly.
When I asked for itemized bill, I was told they don't do that. WTH?! SEVEN HOURS PEOPLE. that's what they billed me and I was here the whole time. It was MAYBE 4. I've since then redone the plumbing myself in the bath. I'm a novice- and waaay faster. I wish there were ZERO star options.

Literally go anywhere else. They charged us $180 to "fix" our plumbing for almost a week, and then wanted $82.50 up front to come back out and take a look, with no guarantee of when they would be able to do so. A week later, my entire house was backing up into my bathroom every time I used the water. One of the employees had the nerve to tell me it. was probably me throwing feminine hygiene products down the toilet, when I have never done so in my entire life.

Terrible service. (We called Dave's Electrical in North Webster, and they were out within the hour. The technician that they sent was very knowledgeable and fixed our furnace for good in only half an hour.)

A big thank to N.E.W. Plumbing and Heating. Today I was at work for 5 minutes and all of a sudden water starts gushing from the ceiling. I had no idea where the shut off valve was. James called American Water and they were there in 15 minutes to shut water off in building. Within 1 hour N.E.W. Came out and found the broken water pipe, not 1 but 5. spots that had froze and burst. I have used them several times at my own house in Christmas Eve day we had a broken water pipe. I highly recommend them for anything that has to do with HVAC and plumbing.

Had an issue with them overcharging me once. I spoke to the owner who agreed to lower the bill. Little did I know the owner put me on a "Black List" to not do business with me. fast forward a few years and I found this out when I called to see if they wanted to come out and give me an estimate on a all new furnace and central air system. the. lady on the phone informed then about being put on their "Black List" for complaining about a overcharge on a bill. So. Colliers Heating and Air made a nice whopping $8,000 off of me instead of N.E.W.
The owner of this business is petty and acts like a child who obviously could care less about his customer base. avoid this business if I was you. Their 2.8 approval rating speaks for itself.

Ok I would like an explanation on you refusing me service because of an unpaid bill that you said you were going to take care of. I had already paid you guys over $6000 and then you tried to charge me for the installation of a board for around $275. You had redone my duct work, put in a sump pump, left my basement window open when you left, . forgot to plug in the sump pump, busted the pipe outside that my geo drained into, took the cap off and then the water froze causing me not to have heat. Charged me twice on freeon.
Only to find out the error code at the beginning was for the board you finally replaced at the end. You agreed to remove that final bill you sent me. So now you say it was s bad debt and refusing me service.

Called to get a heating element in my water heater changed, and to have a leak under the house checked/repaired. They brought the wrong sized element and had to go search the truck for the right one, took an hour for a 10 minute job. Then the other guy who went under the house told me there was no leak and he couldn't stay down there any longer. because he was just in a wreck and he was sore.
I had chunks of calcium build up from the old water heater coming through the kitchen sink, so I took the faucet apart to show them how I was flushing it out and to get some advice on a faster way. They said how I was doing it would work and be fine then they took another hour trying to put my faucet.

We called yesterday morning to get someone out to our house for an emergency leak and home improvement quotes. The lady said that she would put us at the top of the list, but that she couldn't guarantee a time. No worries on that. However, my Husband who is on a 3rd shift schedule stayed up all day long awaiting their arrival, but no one ever came, . not even a 2 second phone call.
Fast forward to this morning, I called them to let them know that no one showed up, nor called to let us know they couldn't make it. The lady said that they had a lot of other calls and she would put us back on the list today. HOW DO YOU TAKE AN EMERGENCY CALL OFF OF YOUR LIST AND NOT TELL THEM? I then let her know.

I had a well pump go out on a Saturday morning, I called this business to install a new pump. It was going to be an emergency call since it was a Saturday, So to save a some money, I took the old pump out myself. I can generally fix things on my own. But decided to have someone else install it. It took me approx. 30 minutes to take the old one out. ( it was located under by basement stairs, very easy access ) N.E.W plumbing showed up. looked at what I needed and then left to go get the new pump.
After not having one at the shop i was told they went and bought one from a local business. To cut this as short as possible. The repair man left three times, to get parts, didn't quite understand that being he had a self contained box truck with parts and it only need a couple on minor plumbing fittings to hook up the new one. He couldn't get it to prime so he had to call someone else over to help him get it going.
After approx. 5 hours they had it going. Well he took an hour off for leaving 3 times. But I had to pay while he waited on someone else to come over and prime it for him. Which I didn't think I should have had to pay for that. When he left I asked him if he had an idea of the cost of the bill ( they were going to bill me ) he said it could be up to 1,000.
I about choked! I had the old one out in 30 minutes, and it took them 5 hours to install a new one. Well once I got the bill it was 1,228.00, I was SHOCKED! and all it said was replaced old pump, Not itemized at all, didn't have how many hours, how much per hour, the price for the pump, nothing. I emailed them and complained how I thought they were price gouging me and they didn't break down the bill.
How it took 5 hours etc. I would not recommend this place at all! Very unprofessional. I feel I had to pay for the time he had to wait for someone to come over and do his job for him because he couldn't do it. They never told me what they paid for the pump they installed after I had asked. They never told me on the bill how much they charged me for labor per hour.

The most unethical and ignorant company I have ever dealt with. They do not honor Carrier's manufacturer warranty even though their website claims they are a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, and they charge twice as much for parts than the competition. If you are in a bind, do not trust your comfort and safety to this company because they could not care less. Just because we live in a small town does not mean we should blindly trust businesses because they claim to be our neighbors or fellow parishioners. Customers beware.
