Called Downing to schedule someone to check a drain issue we were having in our duplex. Dawn in office was very responsive and friendly and kept me posted as soon as one of their workers were finished on another nearby job. Ray came out on time and found the drain that he was able to clean out and clear. He was very professional and knowledgeable and explained everything in detail.
I highly recommend this company as we have hired them on several occasions and always do a thorough job. I won't hesitate to ask for Ray for any other plumbing issues we may have. THANK YOU!

I had a drain blockage that was more than 50 feet in. Downing Plumbing (Ray) responded the day I posted on Angies (early am) and came out the same day. They were able to dislodge the block - but were unable to retrieve thier drain cable - apparently it is caught in the house drain backiup preventer. Cost for the drain snake process was $385. Had this done 10 years ago for $300, so reasonable. Estimate to replace house drain backup preventer was $4000. I'm currenlty getting estimates for camparison

I called around 9:30am for a leak in my wall. An appointment was set for same day service. Ray got here on time and did an excellent job with finding the leak and repairing it in no time. Everything that was done was explained in detail along with some recommendations. Thanks Ray. I highly recommend this company for plumbing needs. They also have reasonable rates. Five plus stars.

I had a toilet unclogged, the quality of the service was Great, but the cost to take the toilet off and put it back on I was told it will cost a couple hundred dollars more to do just the toilet. the total was $670 for 1 drain to be unclogged I had expected $250 maybe $300 but I didn't want to cancel it because it was for my 83 year old Mother. and didn't want her to go without a toilet another day. For a big job I would shop around more

I have used Downing Plumbing for a number of services. I have always found them to be knowledgeable, professional, flexible and agreeable personnel, providing timely service. They have always been very willing to work with me and my challenging schedule. They have, at times, identified and fixed even what had not originally been part of the project they undertook to manage. The CoVid challenge has put some strain on working conditions. I appreciate their efforts in meeting this challenge. I recognize it is not always easy.

Had this company to repair a busted pipe under my modular home. Guy crawled in and in 2 minutes he was done. He installed a shark fitting which cost $4.00 for a half inch fitting. I was charged over $500 and the fitting lasted 2 months since it froze and shark fittings are not meant for outside use on water systems unless heat traced or insulated. I was out of town working i am a union fitter and my wife needed it done. This place is a complete rip-off customer beware!

Critical: Professionalism This company was working on my neighbors house and early in the morning, probably between 8-9 they were fighting, screaming and cussing so loud I'm sure the whole neighborhood heard. On top of that, they had a dog on sight with no leash just running around. Definitely would not recommend this sketchy company.

I gave this company 2 stars because they came out the same day. Charged me 69 bucks to give me an 800.00 estimate to have a laundry tub installed. The plumber that came out seemed confused about plumbing and was not clear in his explanations. Then he gave me a sheet of paper about going this company's club which he didn't explain either. I would not use this company for any plumbing needs.

My husband and I have hired Downing Plumbing to do a big project putting in drain tile and a sewer. They had a few challenges when it came to finishing with weather and our irrigation system. Thankfully they finished and were able to resolve the issues we had with our sprinkler heads. Thanks Downing for helping us.

I will never use them again. was quoted one price over the phone for a drain cleaning when the plumber showed up 30 minutes late and added on another $125. Every other plumber I called was cheaper then the original price quoted on the phone and then to have the extra money added on made it just outrageous. And on top of that I have seen dead people move faster then this Plummer
