Evans Plumbing

I had Evans Plumbing come out and replace my main water line to my home. They required a 30% deposit before they could do any work. When they came out I gave them a check for $1,944.60. A few days later I got the remainder of my bill for $4,537.40 which I mailed in. About a month later I got a bill for $1,944.60 plus interest. To make a long story short, I called in several times to tell them I can see the check cleared my bank but they still said they couldn't find it.

They said they will look into it but I never heard back from them but they kept sending me a bill with more interest. I had to call back several times see what's going on. The receptionist argued with me that it takes time to find the check (the check was deposited 3 months ago) and I called 21 days ago, gave them the check number for them to look into and never heard back (kept getting billed with interest).

This last call they said they could see the check and it "should" be resolved. If this is the service you like then I'd say go for it. Update: Evans Plumbing called me and apologized for the situation and told me the feedback/training they provided to their administration dept. I can appreciate a business that knows when their customer was not treated to their standards and is trying to learn and grow from their mistakes. I would gladly do business with Evans Plumbing in the future and would refer them to my friends and family.

I have dealt with Evan's plumbing for years always great service.

Had estimator out for cost to replace gas furnace in an older Bellevue home. Never heard from him after that. No bid, nothing. I even called their office and still no estimate. Guess they are too busy with all the new construction around here for me.

4 stars Good for contractors. 2 stars for service. just don't fix a problem and walk away. find what "causes" and address it instead of ignoring it.

They replaced a circuit board controller for my hydronics boiler which provides heat and hot water to my townhome.

Scott called to say he could come early if that worked for me, he was timely and considerate. I had two repairs, after inspection he said one project was unnecessary so that saved money and he completed the second item quickly and effectively. Perfect!

Evans was fast and responsive to a leak in our water to air heat pump, on a weekend; however the cost was exorbitant! The first plumber fixed 2 small pinpoint leaks in a copper pipe, but knew nothing of such a system. Then 2 plumbers came the next day and charged for 2, when it clearly was a one man job to fix additional leak. For three easy to fix leaks we were billed $957.63. We will not use again or recommend to anyone.

Scott, the technician who came did a great job and was really patience even though the valve stem of the leaky faucet was stuck and very difficult to remove. He was able to find a way to remove and replace. He also fixed another leaking joint under a sink. All the leaks were repaired satisfactorily.

Evans just helped us with 2 bathroom remodels. When the sink hardware we had selected didn't meet our expectations, they promptly resolved the issue and recommended a higher quality solution at no cost to us. Their service was prompt and efficient on the initial install and even faster on the problem resolution. We highly recommend the Evans team!

Brian Evans' business very professional. Response is prompt and knowledgeable. Have worked with three employees, and Brian personally. All have done excellent work. Adam in particular gets a five star rating. He has solved my radiant heating problems where others have failed.
