Verne's Plumbing

Rude, completely rude. As a contractor who has had to work with these guys on a mutual job, I'd say stay far away. Their are three companies involved with this project all doing work in their respected field. Vernes plumbing has been trash talking this other company, not only to the technicians but to the homeowners as well. Not good business if you ask me.

The lead gentleman Jacob is just the worst, I'm appalled that he would bring that type of drama to the work place. From being rude to telling the customer that the other company doesn't know what they're doing and giving the customer advice on how to do a job that he is clearly not licensed for. I was only there to fix some electrical issues but man can you feel the tension from this company.

I originally got Verne's from a referral website that included a first time discount with the referral. I was experiencing no hot water in my shower and found out it was a simple shower valve replacement. However, since I am no plumber I had no idea what that meant at the time. So as I'm watching the plumber remove the cover to get to the valve, I'm realizing what a very simple procedure it is to change the shower valve on Kohler fixtures.

It could have easily been done in less than 30 minutes and the guy could have been on his way. However, I realize that in addition to the price of the parts, they also charge by the hour for their services. So as I'm watching this part being replaced the plumber asks me if he can use my restroom. Being a reasonable person I say, sure. The dude proceeds to waste 30 minutes in the bathroom at an additional cost to me and my hourly rate.

So once he's finished with taking a 30 minute dump and replacing the shower valve, he then proceeds to waste another 30 minutes sitting in his truck supposedly waiting for a part number for the valve so he can get a bill total. All in all I was charged for two hours total when it could have EASILY been finished in less than 30 minutes. So watch out for these dudes and their overcharging and wasting time at additional costs to the consumer! Will not use this company again!

I needed a hotwater heater swapped out at a rental and needed it same day. Mgr Raul called the manufacture to confirm the one we had was still under warrantee, picked up a new one at Home Depot, sent his team out later in the day, found that some of the connection pipes needed repair, had the parts and got it done. Nice work and no sweat on my end

I had an emergency. My neighbor knew Larry Verne so he made a call for me and the plumber was at my house within a half an hour. Everything was fixed and I am back in operation. Experience with John the plumber was excellent and I could not be more pleased with the results, the response, and the price. Highly recommended and if I have more plumbing needs that I can't handle, I will call Verne's plumbing again. Highly recommended.

I have never written a recommendation before but I felt the service I received from Eric was outstanding. I bought a new water heater from them and installed it myself. The one I purchased did not fit into my closet and they returned and replaced with another unit. I installed it and the following Monday Eric called to see if everything went OK. I really appreciated the follow up and support I received from them.

Called Verne's this morning just after 6am. Someone answered the phone even though they're not open until 8am. I got a call just after 8am and a plumber was here just after 8:30am. My kitchen sink unclogged within 30 minutes. The tech was friendly, professional and cleaned up when he was done. Thank you Vernes's plumbing! Thank you Eddie!

A really good plumber came out - we had a leak in the front of the house in the garden area. Plants. nasty, muddy, the smell of rotting vegetation. Not a good job. He found the leak, figured out the really bad piping the previous homeowner had done to a sprinkler system and soft water treatment system both long ago removed before we bought the house - cleaned it up and capped everything and left the place looking perfect - then did not leave until we had checked all the outlets to make sure everything was working. Courteous, hard woking, conscientious, and not at all expensive - very happy with the work and the price.

We just remodeled our bathroom and Verne's Plumbing did an amazing job! They were on time, super professional, kept the area around clean, and very nice! I had a lot of questions and they were so sweet to take the time and answer them all for me. We will definitely use the company again!

We have been using Vernes Plumbing for years! Their work is excellent, they are always on time. They have always completed a job with complete professionalism. I would recommend then to anyone who is in need of a plumber. Their entire staff from ownership to employees are extremely polite and professional!

Finding a quality plumbing company isn't easy. Verne 's plumbing is located in Buena Park, CA. They have great customer service, when you make an appt. They show up on time. Friendly, courteous and very professional. This company is a gem I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

These guys were the BEST plumbers I have ever hired. We had a huge situation in our house that required re-routing our kitchen drain around our house, to our front yard and then connect to our main. They knew we were without kitchen water and did the job immediately. They were quick, efficient, TIDY, and so professional! I can't say enough about how happy I am with their service. These guys want your business and they care enough to do it right. They are reasonably priced and do great work. I would recommend them. We got swindled by Mike Diamond. If you want a plumber who will do the dirty work and do it right the first time at a reasonable price then call Verne!

I can't recommend Verne's Plumbing. Though they came out right away to fix the issue, they charged me twice as much as a local competitor quoted me and $75 of it was to buy a part they didn't have on hand even though I told them before what shower handle it used. Also, after the handle was "fixed" it continued to drip and I had to complain to them to fix it. Also, they quoted me $400 to replace a 15 year old toilet, which I was told later was also twice as much as it should cost.

They are top notch! Not only did we use them last Oct. 2012 for a bathroom problem We also had to call them for a kitchen problem a few days ago, drain was clogged tried some heavy duty drain cleaner NOTHING.Oscar did a great job cleaned up after himself and the drain hasn't been this fast in years. I totally recommend them for you job big or small

A back flow valve at my in-laws building is leaking, so I had to call around to get quotes. Verne's plumbing gave me a straight answer on what I should do (repair it, the valve is a tank). I can't stress enough how rare getting advice you can trust is. If your located in Orange County, I highly recommend giving them a call.
