ZERO STARS Wow this is possibly the worst company I've ever seen. They installed a ductless system for 8k 6 years ago -we have faithfully paid their extortionate prices to "service" it annually AND now a coil has gone 1 year after warranty (after they couldn't "fix it" last year.) What does this guy tell me? 8k for a new coil or he can replace the whole system for 5,700.

With a new system that their company uses now. Well they installed the old one. His response - "we don't manufacture them we just install them" Stay away from this company and it's horrendous business practices.

Chris T did an awesome job. Explained everything perfectly, was very professional and courteous. I was a little taken aback by the price for coolant but that had nothing to do with him or your company for that matter, I was just surprised how high these prices have skyrocketed. Otherwise excellent service and will definitely use Jones in the future.

Josh came to the house and want right to work. He first called Bradford White to make sure the hot water heater was still under warranty and then gave me three different options. Kudos to Bradford white for honoring the warranty, Josh wanted picked up the new hot water heater installed it. Even gave me a good deal on a service contract because we all know AC season is almost upon us. I know some people would say Jones Services are a little expensive but honestly you get what you pay for. They are timely they are professional and they get the job done!

Kyle was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave great advice and is a great representative for his business. John helped point us in the right direction for the system that worked best for us and Jesse and his Crew did installation for us. They were very efficient and clean! Very happy with my service all around!

I am still at the preliminary stages as of now. Mike was great. I called Jones to get an estimate for sewer repair. Mike explained everything as he went through the inspection. He then gave me the available options and prices for each. Very personable and professional. Great experience so far.

This is my first time using Jones. Very honest company. They give you choices in what direction you will like to go in no pressure at all explains options to you. Brian very well trained excellent at his job installing a new hot water tank and also diagnosing the issue with the old one. I've used several other companies Jones ranks more than five stars going forward I will continue to use them thank you to the team at Jones and also the plumber Brian. BTW unbelievable how quick he was able to get the old one out and in and go to the distributor and pick up a new one Thank you Wally

Heard from other plumbing co's that jones services requires techs to up sell higher priced jobs That would explain why a leak on my floor caused a complete rip out of entire wall to roof costing $4,000.00 Then a carpenter for another $2,500.00 to fix the demo they caused Total thieves

Jones Electric is the best! We have been trying to find an electrician for a few years and ALL the other companies we reached out to were totally unresponsive. Thanks to the recommendation of a Spectrum employee, we heard about Jones. Nick H and Justin S did excellent work. We had two AC's put on their own line, upgraded our electrical box, installed a new baseboard heater and replaced some old and unsafe outlets.

The entire process from the scheduling to the completion of the work was seamless! We are so grateful and completely satisfied. The office staff is also wonderful and super friendly. We will always use them for any needs that come up in the future. Thank you so much!

Ashley M was great. Punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. Called due to furnace issue after having 2 other companies opinion. Jones Services was a great decision. Ashley took her time, communicated everything, inspected all areas of the house and drew blueprints. In the end she broke everything down and found us the best deal to get us up an running with a new furnace. You won't regret it if Ashley comes to your door she knows what she's doing!

I had an extremely pleasant experience using this company. From Barbara at the office to Brain my technician and Greg the supervisor amazing company to work. Brain was extremely professional and knew exactly what he was doing. He had my water heater installed and running in no time. I really don't know what Jones compensate this guy, but he is definitely a gem.

Val diagnosed and repaired our Generac generator from non working to working within an hour. He explained in full detail the problem and the necessary repairs. He exceeded my expectations with a lesson in turning the generator off/on manually and how to test that everything that should be on through the generator would be on. He also explained pro active measures we could take to ensure our generator works for us when we need it most. Thank you. We will definitely call Jones Services for our household needs in the future.

Mike was EXCELLENT! Thank you Jones Service for sending someone who was not just knowledgeable but also courteous and pleasant. We couldn't use plumbing system for 2 days because the back up started on a saturday evening and Sunday it snowed bad. Jones service didn't take advantage of the situation. I've used Jones to install a water heater, 2 zone heat pump system, and a backup generator. This was my first time calling them for a repair, and it was handled just as well. I had a water leak in a tight area with limited light or access. Mike M was able to locate and repair the leak quickly and efficiently. He was very professional, but friendly. I am very happy with the service I received.

From start to finish, Shawn was the consummate professional. My husband and I bought our first home in 2020 and quickly realized lots of things need to be brought up to safety standards. Shawn installed recessed lights in our living room, re-routed power outlets to be more efficient, replaced all the outlets with updated technology and proper wiring, added a whole house surge protector, installed an overhead light in my home office and added a dedicated circuit while updating the circuit breaker.

The job took 3 days total and he was prompt, efficient and patient with all of our questions and our two dogs. I would highly recommend Jones Services to anyone and will use them again for work that we need done.

My sister suggested I call Jones, to get a quote on a hot water heater, as she's always been pleased with them, and their service. First contact was with the office staff, they were pleasant, and efficient. They also followed up with confirmation emails, and kept me posted as to the house call. Josh called me the morning of the service, and was exactly on time. Josh is very professional, knowledgeable, respectful, wore a mask, and booties.

Most professional group we have ever used in the 49 years we have owned our home. Mike and Tim both had experience and knowledge that made us comfortable through the explanation of our need to replace our boiler. We spoke to them last Thursday and Friday and because of Jones' we will have our installation tomorrow. Their communication with us was the best. Very grateful. Absolutely recommend them if you have any heating or plumbing issues.

This is our first experience using Jones, but it won't be our last! We were able to get an appointment within a few days of our initial call, and received an email preparing us for our visit plus a text alerting us of the technician's pending arrival. Our technician, Brian, exceeded our expectations. He was informative and efficient, as well as friendly and engaging.

I was appreciative that I could ask questions without feeling judged or rushed. Brian addressed a few plumbing issues in our home that weren't emergency in nature, but rather a few odds and ends that increased overall efficiency in our home, and have been on my "checklist" for months. We will certainly use Jones again, and it's great to know we can request Brian again for any plumbing repairs.

Josh and Justin diagnosed and replaced my well tank and well pump. Both of them were helpful, informative, respectful. actually I can't say enough good things about them. Now if they could've only done it for free! Lol. I would request both of them back if I have any additional issues.

Had jones come to one of my properties in Washington green new windsor ny to check Freon levels on central air conditioning. Technician opened unit inside and after a 30 second inspection told me he was red tagging unit as unsafe. I asked how could this be done and he exclaimed there was a crack in the heating coil albeit a micro crack which was trivial at best, he then told me I should call sales.

I asked how could you red tag a unit when you did not run it to check how it burns of see if their was any issues at that point. He said it was not required and I should consider replacing unit. The tech did not use any instruments to see if carbon dioxide was an issue and sensors never went off in months past. The tech then went out side and took panel off unit and exclaimed in needed a capacitor and was 4 lbs low on Freon, and should consider calling sales to replace unit, tech also gave me a price of 1100 dollars for 4 lbs of Freon and a new capacitor, or 2100 for ultraviolet light Freon and capacitor, , tech was sent on their way and I utilized local professional plumber.

The local professional checked Freon levels and determined unit needed 1 Lb of Freon and a new thermostat was needed inside this all at a cost of 600 dollars The outright dishonesty and incompetence of this company is criminal.stay away from Jones!

Brian from Jones came the same day that I called for the issue. He was professional, diagnosed the issue quickly, explained what he would do, completed the repair, tested and explained what was completed. The issue was a slow leak in a basement pipe that had a hole in it. I had called T Webber who had installed a hot water heater for me a few months ago and despite having spent a large amount of money with them in the past, they could not come out to fix this leaking pipe for a week! Jones came the SAME day I called! Jones will get my business every time in the future.

Scheduled a service call a few months ago to have my generator serviced. Only to be called 2 days before and have my appointment canceled by Jones. Their excuse.we're to busy doing installations so we have no time for your service call. I had arranged time off from work ( where we're busy to) for this service call. Repeat customer no more.

The absolute worst customer service. Ladies in the office are rude refusing to put you in communication with someone who knows electrical. This was my second experience with them. First time the sales guy just didn't seem to care. This time being 3 years after my first interaction with them I figured I would give benefit of doubt and try again with this time being worst than the first.

Borderline criminal how this company tries to take advantage. Was pretty certain well pump needed to be replaced of course I googled estimated prices and I was expecting $2000-$2500. Jones technician arrived first thing in morning looked at well and said, your looking at $5000. I said that seems high and he told me he wasn't a math major but he would double check the numbers.

Then asked if I wanted a service contract on boiler and a/c because he could save me 10%. When I asked scope of work to be performed he broke it down as follows and said he was off a bit from original guesstimate. Replace new well pump new wires and piping $4300 and $367 to cut down well casing so he could get his machine over the well because this type of job can't be done by hand If it was just replace wiring and pump was still working then cost would be $2600.

While he was here I called a few from Angies list. Reliable Well called back and told me they could come today and there pricing was $1550 for pump and additional $200 if wiring had to be replaced and $200 for pipe. I informed Jones of price, and asked if he could provide me a price of what parts cost and labor charge. He said he couldn't because his tablet wouldn't allow it and it protects me from being over charged by hourly rates.

He went to his truck came back 5 minutes to say how good their workmanship was, and these other companies were most likely cutting corners, I'm sure he was directed to do so by sales manager. For Christ's sake I'm buying a pump not a Chevy. Other company came cut well casing installed new pump inspected wiring and Poly pipe and total bill was $1550.

Saving me over $3000. Whole job took and hour and a half and they pulled the well pump up manually. Jones Services is the most unethical contractor I have encountered in my 29 years of living in Orange County. I can't imagine how many families have been taken advantage by this unscrupulous den of thieves. Look forward to spreading the word on how they conduct business.

Do some research like I did once they tell you a hairline crack in your heat exchanger will cause carbon monoxide to enter your house. My furnace has probably been cracked for years and I haven't had any issues, headaches, ect but they insist of shutting off my heat because it's "unsafe" (scare tactic) Also when they call for a "second pair of eyes" the manager didn't even really look at what his technician was showing him.

These jacked up prices for this "5 star service" that they preach is ridiculous. Since when does it cost 200+ dollars to change out a standard thermostat? Don't preach labor either cause it's simply removing wires and reattaching them (yes I could change out my own thermostat but I was just curious to see how much they would charge).

I wouldn't recommend this company to any of my friends or family. They're highly over priced and just put on a show. I really don't know what to recommend that's good about this company, maybe the fact that they called me 4-5 times to confirm my appointment and that my technician was polite? But that should be a given nowadays.

I shouldn't have to pay extra for professionalism. I really don't appreciate your scare tactics as well. I could only imagine what you're selling to these elderly people out here that recommend this horrific company. You should be ashamed of yourselves trying to take advantage of people. I don't understand how you guys are somehow rated 5* on google but yet you come to yelp and it's not nearly as good? Sounds fishy to me.

I can not comment on their work but I can comment on their prices. They proposed replacing sewer lines with PVC at my mother's house for $1678. All pipes are exposed in the basement and easily accessed. The proposal said "up to 3 feet". That's $559 a foot! When I called the salesman on it he said he'd go up to 6 feet at no additional charge. I'd be real careful with these people.

Way too expensive, you're better off trying to figure out how to fix whatever on your own. It cost me $2700 to fix the hot water heater and they didn't even clean up afterwards. They also took the old heater which I later learned was either recycled or returned for a profit. The same water heater they installed cost $500 at both Lowe's and Home Depot so they pretty much CHARGED me $2,250 to install and made a profit. Rip off do not use, shop around.

I can talk about all the steps along the way that made this experience great but in the end, it was good service with a great result! Got my furnace replaced, switched from oil to propane and it all good! I later called Jones back to take care of some minor plumbing work. Again, great work. I'll have them on speed dial for the next project as well. Is it expensive? Maybe, but I know that the work here is good and I haven't had a problem after the repair or replacement.

Ridiculously expensive. Knew I needed a job done today and sent someone only for an estimate so I had to pay the $100 trip fee. They knew they would not perform the job and only scammed me for the fee. 5 times higher than other electricians. DO NOT USE THEM. Update on 09/30/2017 - Now, two months later, they decide to try to understand what happened and I've been getting calls at night and messages through Yelp. My review will stay the same, please stop bothering me.

I was very happy with the service provided by these folks. I called to have my furnace serviced and it led to every homeowners nightmare of needing to replace the whole system. As a new homeowner, every person I dealt with at this company took the time to walk me through and explain what was happening and to clearly outline what my options were. Tim was our design/sales guy and while he made suggestions based on his expertise, he in no way pressured us to choose anything we didn't want to. Mike, Nick and Alex came 2 days later and did a spectacular installation and we were back up and running. These guys will stay on my speed dial for any future needs.

Had a problem in my bathroom. First time they came they charged me $107 & suggested some work I could do myself. I did the work and it didn't fix the problem. They came back a second time to do a smoke test - as I requested and as operator assured me they would do - but did NOT do a smoke test. Technician apologized and told me the operators were clueless.

He then gave me the phone number of another company to call. Overall a waste of my time. On the bright side, they refunded me for the initial visit after I asked. They did not charge me for the second visit. Fair enough. Just wish I hadn't wasted another week because an operator told me a job would be performed that the technicians actually do not do. Operators should be more knowledgeable/informed about what the technicians are capable of.

Nick Brown was extremely helpful and efficient in servicing my boiler. Jones services goes above and beyond to do a quality job. Having a professional member of the team such as Nick is a great representation of Jones Services and the quality it stands for. I would highly recommend.

I cannot express how thankful my family and I are to this company! They have been a beacon of proverbial light during our darkest hour. From the moment I called to request service to the moment they came to give us an estimate, I have felt like I am dealing with a close family member. They have been instrumental in ensuring my family and I are comfortable, they provided service via a generator while the work is being negotiated and completed.

I am truly amazed by the level of professionalism and courtesy. This is a lost art to many businesses. If you ever need any type of electrical, heating or cooling, don't think about it twice, call them!

Looks like all bad reviews are under "other reviews" on yelp. This is my experience (if you want short version, call Lowes on Chester, very professional, well priced): They installed one furnace then came to give me a quote on another one. We were new homeowners when the first one was installed and did not know any better, they charged us abut $2,500 more than other companies would have.

They did do a good job with installation and are responsive when you call them. I also had a plumbing issue, once again I was over charged. I know this because later I received quotes from other professionals and the cost was significantly different. Finally, my second furnace broke. Called them to come and take a look (only reason I called them again was because a part on the old furnace had been replaced by them, paid for by previous owner, and it was under warranty).

They wanted to sell me a 90,000 btu Amana for $5,400, plus a humidifier for $650, and at that price, Tim, sales manager, said company was breaking even and could offer it only if installed that Tuesday because they were slow (pressure sales tactics). I called Lowes, their AC guy Chris is great, honest man, not too worry about making an extra $ but more concern about customer needs.

He gave me an honest quote of $4700 INCLUDING humidifier, that's $1300 less, for a Lenox, which is a better brand. In short, this company will over charge every time, watch out, get second quotes, this sort of practice is predatory in my opinion. I gave them 2 stars because they will do a good service job. However, so will many companies for much less.

Contacted Jones regarding a couple of electrical projects. Nick came out and explained each of the available options regarding the major project. The second project would've required moving wired behind a beam and Nick provided a money saving work around. Lastly needed a common wire connected which was required to connect a Nest thermostat. Nick did so and cleaned after himself. All documents and receipts were sent electronically

Jones Services to the rescue again! And a very special thank you to Matt Doyle for his outstanding response and workmanship! When our Natural Gas Generac Guardian Generator failed to perform its weekly self-test exercise, I called Jones the next morning and Matt was able to come within a few hours of my phone call. He replaced the blown fuse and the battery and installed a Cold Weather Kit. Thank you Jones Services for responding so quickly and thank you Matt for your expertise and for enlighting us about the Cold Weather Kit. Merry Christmas everyone!
