Dave Mielke grew up in the construction industry in Northeastern Ohio. At a young age he began working in the warehouse and fabrication shop of the family mechanical contracting business and laboring on construction sites. He worked under the direction of his grandfather and parents, spending summer vacations and holiday breaks working in the business.
