Last year I had Acorn fix an outdoor pipe that froze after an early frost. They did a good job but the cost seamed a little high. This year I called them for some repairs needed to some pipes in our furnace room. I made an appointment for the following Friday at noon. The plumber shows up at 10:00 and of course I was not home. At noon I called and luckily he was still in the neighborhood.

I was thinking he would do the repairs but he just wanted to give me an estimate. I showed him what I needed done and he said he would contact me with a quote. To date I have heard nothing. This is very disappointing. I know there are good companies out there that want my business.

Purchased a hot water heater system that they recommended. After they installed it and I paid for it was nothing but problems with it. they came out three or four times to fix issue it would run for a while and then quit again. The fourth time they came out they said it's because there is not enough airflow and charged me $295 to Look at it. Why is this my problem?

Then the unit stopped working again. After calling them for final time they told me to call the Manufacturer rep it's not their problem and if I didn't pay one bill they would send me to collections. After calling with a once with an issue they were very rude! Do to not use this company! One call to their competitor and my issue is resolved!

Terrible. Never use this "service." The owner couldn't seem to remember the scheduled times HE offered to me as my choice for scheduling convenience. Therefore when his employee arrived 2 hours early, I wasn't home. I was told I was being billed $125.00 for missing my scheduled appointment. (Please note that (1.) I had just promptly paid them nearly $1000 for a furnace job and (2.) it was his employee who encouraged me to complain about the superfluous charge made due to the owner's error.) I phoned to complain and was FINALLY "Excused ONCE." Stupidly, I then re-scheduled, and get this: the same thing happened again.

You can't make this stuff up. My strong advice, then, is to RUN anywhere else for plumbimg/heating services! This outfit should be avoided at all costs - which will be yours - if you don't.

I called to have them see if they could re-vent my hot water heater, The guy they sent seemed to be " cherry picking" jobs, as he didn't want to bother with it. He told me they could not work with mine, but I could buy a new one from them. He then just off the gas and unplugged the water heater, telling me it was a safety hazard, and left. I got a bill in the mail the next day! Never going to call them again!

If you are looking to hire a Plumber do not call Acorn Plumbing. Customer service starts with being polite. The Serviceman walked in with an attitude and was very condescending. We called others and found one who was polite. He explained what we needed to do and why. His work was done in timely manner and fair price.

The plumbers who came here to do a pressure test on my gas line quickly found leaks and went over possible solutions and gave their suggestions. It went very well and I am very happy with the professionalism of the technicians, however, at the end I was told it had to be paid in full that day which was no big deal just nice to know ahead of time. There was a small billing issue which was very easily fixed with a simple phone call. Very great service.

My landlord called acorn plumbing to come replace the toilet in my house. The gentlemen walked in looked at the toilet came out of the bathroom stood at the front door with it OPEN in 20 degree weather. They stated the shelf over the toilet is in the way when you get it out out you can call us to reschedule. I called the owner of the company to possibly reschedule and make a complaint and was told they probably left because of my attitude.

I didn't say more than 3 words to the men I showed them where the bathroom was they came out and were extremely rude about the shelf. Had I been asked to take the shelf out before them coming I would have as I did not know the toilet was being replaced. The owner then hung up on me. If you want people coming into your home and being rude to you and charging you to bee there no longer than 2 minutes use Acorn. They could have said we are going to the van/truck can you please move the shelf over the toilet. Even just spoken nicely at all. Very unprofessional and unpleasant
