These guys are the very best. Quality work and very professional attitude. I have used them to install new fixtures, garage sink and work on plumbing issues. The men are very polite and explain the issues. And they are priced reasonably. The best I have found in Waco!

I've called Smelscer for my last several plumbing jobs. They've been fair, professional, and timely each visit. I've had friendly interactions with the person answering the phone and every plumber that's come by the house. On one job we couldn't recreate the problem (a faucet drip, and a garbage disposal leak). I offered to pay for their time. They said, "no charge." They told me to call if the problematic symptoms returned.

That went beyond my expectations. After the last service job I called them about something that went wrong (things happen in plumbing). They went above and beyond to make it right, clean everything up, and bring everything in my house back to even better than the original condition. The owner, in particular, impressed me greatly and earned my loyalty. He was a total pro in every conversation I had with him. I recommend this business.

I scheduled an appointment to install a gas line for a fireplace. The plumber came out same day to get me an estimate. I called back a few days later and the plumber had completely forgotten to give me and estimate and I was told I would have one soon. A few days later I called them to get an estimate and scheduled for them to come out on a Friday morning.

When they hadn't shown up by Friday afternoon I called the front office who was apologetic and told me something had "blown up" and they could come out the following Tuesday at 8. I got a call Tuesday saying they would come a little later at 11:30. I got another call saying it would be after lunch and finally had to cancel to spend time with my family instead of waiting around. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the service and now dealing with the reality of not having a fireplace by Christmas as I promised my wife.

I called Smelscer at 9:15am to make an appointment, and they arrived in just 2 hours. Installed two new faucets in bathroom, and one new faucet in kitchen, in just 35 minutes. High quality professional work, and service with a smile. Thank You Smelscer Plumbing.

I've used Smelscer's six times in two different locations and they've done outstanding work each time. In the most recent visit the technician came out and fixed a wax ring from a new toilet installed by a plumbing company used by the contractor who remodeled our home. The technician stated when he was done that I had a new toilet but an old wax ring.

I really appreciate the honesty, professionalism and quality of work done by this company. I'll use Smelscer's for all my plumbing needs. Oh, and the receptionist is always professional, helpful and friendly.

Had to get some services done and while shopping for estimates, Smelscer Plumbing easily gave me the best rate. They were courteous on the phone, had someone out the next day to come fix it, and were happy to answer any questions. I will probably use them again if I need a plumber.

I've used Smelscer Plumbing twice now. They have a receptionist that works long hours, meaning I could call after I got off work. They have followed up when they said they would (I was wondering if crews were working Black Friday, she said she would need to confirm availability then call me back). The plumbers that have come were punctual or early, quickly diagnosed the problem and completed the work in a timely manner. Definitely will be calling them back if I need work done again in the future!

I had a slab leak diagnosed after having the front corner of my house leveled. I decided to go with Smelscers because of their great reviews on Angie's List, they were a family owned business that had been around for many years, and not having my slab jack hammered up was very appealing. After getting in touch with Curtis who I was told is the only plumber who does the perma-liner plumbing, told me my repair would be a 2 day job; the 1st day to locate the leak or leaks, and the 2nd day to make the repair.

This turned into a 4 day job that spanned a period of 24 days from start to finish. Quotes and commitments were not honored, my job kept getting put behind other customer repairs, and I ultimately had to call the company to get the final leak test done; something that wasn't going to be performed until I insisted. I also had an Angie's List coupon that required a call to the owner to get honored as well. Integrity was something I was really expecting with this company with their long history of being in business along with their many positive reviews.

Unfortunately my experience did not reflect that. I truly hope the quality of their perma-liner repair proves to be much better than the quality of the customer service I received. If I ever decided to trust this company again, I'm afraid everything would have to be in writing; no more verbal agreements. My total cost with 5% off coupon was $2375 for 5 hours of plumbing service.

By far the best plumbing service I've ever used. Scheduled my appointment quickly. Arrived timely, worked diligently to solve my problem, took time to explain what he was doing and was extremely courteous throughout his visit. Can't say enough to reflect the truly outstanding service I received. Price also very reasonable. Will definitely be a return customer for any future plumbing needs. Would not even consider using another company. Will definitely recommend to friends and family without hesitation.

This is a fantastic company. The plumber came to the house and diagnosed the problem we were having and told us if we went to a plumbing supply store and picked up what he suggested, that we could easily fix the problem ourselves and he wouldn't charge us a service call. And if this didn't fix the problem, to call him back and he would come back out and fix it. Saved us a lot of money and he was dead on about the problem and I had it fixed in 10 minutes once I got the part I needed. I HIGHLY recommend this company, don't bother calling anyone else!

Here is a REAL positive review for this company--I live in Woodway and not all my other reviews are about Colorado. Mystery leak in house. The receptionist/dispatcher was friendly and said she would try to get someone to my house that day, and she did. The plumber showed up when he said he would, he used a high tech camera and found the leak in the wall and he fixed it same day.

He was honest and had skills. Why not 5 stars? His truck wasn't stocked with a 1/2 inch straight pipe coupling, which is pretty much the most common coupling in existence, and so he had to go back to the store and buy it. And that took about 40 minutes; then he couldn't get something else he wanted and so couldn't accomplish that. All while the meter is running.

He and his assistant are costing over $100 an hour--so a better stocked van would have saved me some money. But $250 was cool, it could have been much worse. Or a little better. I will use them again with no hesistation.

What a great company. We called another company first and did not have a good experience. Thank goodness we called Smelscer. Curtis came out and was very honest and knowledgeable. He was great to deal with and we will call again if we have any other problems.

We had a fabulous experience with Smelscer Plumbing. Another company came out multiple times without properly diagnosing the problem, and quoting us a ridiculous amount of money to complete the work when they finally did diagnose the problem. We called Smelscer to come out for a second opinion. Brett was so kind and easy to work with. He explained what needed to be done and treated me with the greatest respect. Also, the bid was much more reasonable than the previous company.

They were here a couple of days later to get us fixed up, which they did with a very professional nature and all in one day. We will definitely be calling them again when we have another occurence.

When I noticed that my water heater was leaking, I immediately contacted my home warranty company. Smelscer Plumbing was one of the recommended professionals. I couldn't have been happier with the service that I received from my technicians. They talked me through the entire process. They did not leave a mess and cleaned up the small bits of water that dripped from the old unit when they replaced it with the new one.

Office phone support was very understanding and compassionate about my situation and quickly dispatched a technician as soon as someone was available. No hidden fees, upfront pricing and approval to do the work.

These guys were great. Unfortunately, I did not call these guys first. They told me the truth where the other guy, who I think was just misinformed did not. I worked with two of their plumbers Charlie and T.J. and both were friendly and honest. They gave me a good fair price and I know what work they did will last a long time.

We had a leak from a water line by our garage. We called several plumbers. One showed and was good but too expensive. We called Smelscer and they were here within 30 minutes. Because they were booked that day hey started the work the next day and were done within four hours and charged 25% less than the competition. They are very honest and nice people with whom to do business.
