While having flooring installed throughout our house, despite our best efforts to sequester our two cats, one escaped down the heat vent in an upstairs bedroom. We could not see or hear her, but called the vet, the fire dept., and McVehil's after hours, yesterday. I left a message and was immediately called back by Kelly, who said she would call in the morning to see if I needed someone.

She did very early and then within maybe an hour, Mark and his coworker arrived. They cut an opening in the duct where the cat had gotten to and was trapped, and the talked us through how to get her out. Dirty, grimy, hungry, but alive and well, our 15-year-old calico was out. Two baths later, and some food, she is as good as new. Thank you Mark and McVehil!

I would also like to add that having lived in Washington, PA for almost 29 years in the same house, Mark and others have been out many times for a dead water heater (which was fixed and lasted another 10 years), a dead AC unit, and various, plumbing woes. We have bought new units from McVehil, too, and both the installation and quality have been great. Moreover, they often do the little things as a courtesy or for a very reasonable charge.

They called us at 10am and said they were on way. Here we are at 2pm and still no plumber. I call and ask when he's coming, receptionist asks if I'm available or not. I told them I have to pick up my kids at 330, they cancelled my appt and said they aren't coming back. I asked them if this was the way they always treated their customers, she told me I wasn't her customer and I needed to find another vendor. Poor service to say the least

These guys are awesome. Came out on a Sunday couldn't get the parts that day to fix my furnace. Mark check everything and was very professional and explained everything he was doing. He even let us borrow a couple heaters. The repairs were gonna cost more than the furnace was worth so we decided to go with a new furnace. The office personnel were extremely professional to deal with.

They made everything so easy. They were very quick at getting my furnace and had it installed on Tuesday. The guys that came did very good work and we had heat that evening. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for the great job.

I had Anthony out to make a repair on my Water heater. He knew exactly what the issue was! Awesome man. And took care of my issues and even pointed out some I had no idea on what was going on! Previous company made botched repairs and after he was finished it looked beautiful (plumbing can be beautiful i guess?) But he has earned a customer for life! I highly recommend his company! One year ago, McVehil installed a new heat pump system at our home. We were very leased with the installation and the performance of the system. As part of the installation we were entitled to a free service call to inspect and tune the system and replace any consumables. Sure enough, a year later we were contacted by McVehil to schedule our follow-up inspection. I expected a 10 minute walk through, but the tech spent at least two hours going over every part of the system. Great Service!

We just had McVehil out for our annual heating check up, and everything went smoothly and on time. We had also had them out within the past month for an emergency water heater repair and they did a great job. They did a lot of the work at a previous house we had built, so we have a good history with them. I highly recommend them for any plumbing or HVAC projects.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness We had this company install a sewage line last spring and they completely ruined our paved driveway. We've been patiently waiting for a year now for them to turn the damage over to their insurance company to fix the damages they made, but we've received no response and no follow up. We are very upset customers.

I had Dave and Alex for a sewer line back up. They were prompt, knoweldgeable, professional, and upfront about possibilities and costs. I appreciated the transparency as well as their work ethic. Extremely grateful for their efforts in resolving my issue. I would recommend and plan to use their other services as well! Thank you so very much guys, you were wonderful!

Anthony came out as requested and fixed the drain in my kitchen sink which turned out to be a pretty big job and he did it very professionally explaining what he was going to do before he did it. I was very grateful for him coming out and doing such a terrific job! We had just bought this house and wasn't sure what he was going to find. Would recommend this company to everyone!

These guys are the real deal. I was under a time constraint and paid the extra fee for them to come all the way to Pittsburgh to jet my sewer. They have someone professional answer the phone and give you the price up front. The service provider was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I've used many contractors in the past personally and in my career.

I'd highly recommend these guys. The price was still competitive even with the extra travel fee. A lot of the larger commercialized/franchised companies would've probably wasted my time and would've said something needed fixed first to make it a larger job. Thanks guys! I'll be using you all again.
