I have used this company in the past, a few times, and was happy with them. This past time, I did not receive a quote before the work was started and never received an itemized bill. The plumber wrote 5.0 hrs in on the bottom of the paper. He was only here 3.5 hrs.an hour of which he was out shopping. I figured a plumber would have parts, especially when I told them ahead of time the work I wanted done and sent pics.
They charged me an hour labor for him to go shopping. I asked for an itemized bill from billing and received the worst customer service. I was shocked because I used this company before. I've recommend them. Never again.

Armondo came highly recommended so I sent his number to my father in law when he needed some help (which he rarely seeks!). He said Armondo was excellent and a very nice guy. I will not pass contacts on to my f-i-l unless they're very solid; Armondo came through! Will definitely call these guys again when we need plumbing assistance.

Armando came out to replace a leaking hot water heater, part of a 2 water heater system. He was professional, used all PPE, was careful with moving the old water heater out, and the new one in. I was having family over for the upcoming holiday and my kichen sink began to backup. I thought it was the garbage disposal, but called Old World Plumbing, now part of Valley Fire in Batavia. They came out immediately, told me that the Garbage Disposal was fine and they only need to rod the kitchen sink. This saved a lot of money since the Plumber told me the problem was not replacing the garbage disposal. He fixed it quickly was very polite and knowledge. I would recommend using this plumbing service.

My power vent hot water heater wasn't working properly. I contacted Old World Plumbing, a division of Valley Fire Protection Systems, and a plumber was at my home within the hour. He diagnosed the issue quickly, explained the faulty code, installed the replacement part, and tested the heater for proper operation. I believe his name is Armando.
He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely call Old World Plumbing in the future! By far, best service! Definitely recommend Old World Plumbing for all of your plumbing needs.

I was at work last week and I got a call from my son saying he wanted to take shower but only cold water was coming out after 15 mins. We had just moved into the house 3 yrs ago and I had no idea where to start, so I asked my son to look at the heater for any stickers and there was an Old World Plumbing sticker on it. I called them and the lady who answered the phone Kim S was so professional, kind and very helpful.
She was able to get someone out right away. The plumber that came out was Rob. Again he was very professional, polite, clean, knowledgeable. The cost for this service call was very reasonable! ( I called around to get quotes and some places charged overtime fee for same day service! ) I have recommended Old World Plumbing/ Valley Fire Protection System to family and friends. Christine M.

My water heater was leaking and I was very concerned it would get worse and flood my carpeted basement. I called Old World, now part of Valley Fire, who sent a Plumber out same day. looked at it, showed me the issue and changed it out immediately. He was prepared, curious, efficient and pleasant. Took the old water heater out and cleaned up when finished. Excellent service!

Whats the worst thing everyone wants to come home to? That's right, A wet basement. After Cleaning up a bit I figured it was time to call a plumber. I asked around and heard nothing but amazing things about Old World Plumbing. The Plumber we had come to our house was Robert. And I must say he was very professional and polite. He told us there was a clogged main drain in the basement which is why our utility sink was overflowing.
Before I knew it, he had used his machine to clear up the pipes and was writing an invoice for me. I can't begin to explain how quick and easy he made it for us. And super affordable too. Great Company

If you want to be taken advantage of call this place they will be more than happy to rip you off So my basement flooded this week (the week of the heavy rainstorms) like many others and needed my sump pump replaced. Well I went through yelp- just because I was in a rush I didn't want to get taken for a monetary ride. So Old World was the first one I called because it happened to be in my neighborhood and had one good rating, I called and a nice woman answered and I asked her if she had technicians available.she did not but she would be happy to put me on a waiting list but.and there would be a $100 emergency fee even though it wasn't during late hours or early evening (I called mid day) she said it was due to all the calls they were receiving.
I asked her if this fee would guarantee me getting someone out to my home that day -trust me I understand that they had a lot of people calling I get it-a lot of people were having the same issues I was.she said no there were no guarantees that someone would even come out that day- then she said they were going to charge everyone emergency rates.seriously?
Just because a lot of people were calling you but you could not get anyone in. That is a nice way to take advantage of people during an emergency.nice really nice.but she did say I could call other companies and maybe they could get me in and that is exactly what I did. I will take my business elsewhere. If you want a company that treats its local customers this manner- then call this company you will have your pockets emptied even before they do anything.but they sure are nice about it.

Had to call someone in after a hot water heater leak in February. These guys are perfect. Got a quote right away, they were very flexible in scheduling around us (we suddenly had to go out of town for a funeral), and got the old water heater out and the new one in in less than a day. I couldn't have asked for better service. And they've followed up to make sure everything is still working as well as it should.
