We can design and build your heating and cooling system or we can build to the engineer's design and specifications. As a Mitsubishi Commercial Diamond Elite contractor, Eastern Mechanical Services is an independent contractor with the highest level of accreditation. From scanning machines to Revit programs we have all the tools and knowledge necessary to take a project from the design phase to completion with meticulous detail.

EMS enjoys a wonderful pedigreed history. The current owners: Ted and John Huizinga are third generation journeymen in the industry. Our grandfather, John Huizinga I, was a plumber before and during the great depression. His company, Holwerda - Huizinga in Grand Rapids, MI was a very successful mechanical contracting company.
Serving - we are not here only to advance our careers and ourselves, but we are here to serve others and help them to advance and succeed. It is a selfless, not selfish, approach to life and work. Utmost - this little adjective places a proper emphasis on the level of commitment to quality. We do it whole-heartedly even if it takes a bit longer or if it requires extra effort.
Eastern Mechanical's members of the Design/Assist Team will engage fully in the process, reviewing documents, providing value engineering suggestions, systems and equipment comparisons, and appropriate cost analysis so the entire Design/Assist Team has the information needed to make informed decisions regarding mechanical systems as the design process evolves.

Unreliable. Frustrating lack of service. Jim came out to do an estimate. Never heard back from him. I followed up with them twice. Still nothing. It was a small job, and it is obvious that they just couldn't be bothered. Here's the thing: small jobs add up. And I would have contracted with them for regular maintenance, so. their loss!

EMS is by far the most professional organization I have ever dealt with in the heating and cooling field. I have had my boiler and A/C serviced by a local oil company for years and gave David a call when they were stumped. David, Jim and Jeff were extraordinary. They fixed what I was told was a big problem by my oil company and fixed it quickly and efficiently.
They work area was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. I couldnt have been more pleased. A few weeks later I had an issue with the Air Conditioner during a heat wave. Dave and his crew responded immediatly and quickly found the problem and repaired. I have cancelled all my mechanical contracts with everyone else and signed EMS to do it all.
